Reasons I had for favourite Cancer / pushed away Taurus
Cancer SUN, adorable JUPITER conjunct MOON, fun
VENUS conjunct SATURN, very binding
VENUS conjunct ASC, lovely
NNODE-VX (widely) conjunct MC, daughter's career, life path unexpected to mother MOON conjunct MARS, tense atmosphere later -- Triple Taurus, would have thought more responsible as an Earth sign URA-PLUTO and midpoint conjunct NNODE, rough lessons
VESTA conjunct VX, mother's (unfair, if seen through pushed away daughter's eyes) devotion marked daughter Progressed SUN or ASC, at the age of 13, would have been conjunct something else in her Taurus stellium, perhaps marking a turn in her life.
Reasons I had for favourite Taurus / pushed away Cancer
Basically, almost all of the above but with reversed timings, since both daughters had pleasant and unpleasant times with the mother. (For instance, Cancer's MOON conjunct Mother's MARS, tense atmosphere before Cancer left, instead of the first reason.) + - Taurus' SATURN conjunct NNODE, learning about responsibility
- Mother's NEPTUNE opening Taurus' 6H, blurring her vision about work and career by pampering her too much
- ^ 6H where her VX and KARMA lie, possible karmic surprises concerning work
