a neverending love/attraction with mutual 12th house synastry (and the other significant aspects of course). This is the usual synastry for me, since I always have 12th house with friends and lovers, due to a large number of Caps in my life, and I always put something in 12th too (many friends/lovers with Libra or Virgo ASC). My experience with 12th house is this:
- the most intimate relationships, closest, where you can be yourself, and can't be anything but yourself; long-lasting and fated, supportive and devotional; Neptunian, but I seem to get the long stick of Neptune so far (no pun intended) apart from one max two early youth experiences. Extremely compassionate and loving.

Cap romance: the hottest ever, very passionate relationship, certified couple designated as very hot, stormy relationship, perfect physical match, often described as brothers or twins, two dark exotic individuals; the meanest, toughest son of a ***** I ever met, most sarcastic individual you'd ever meet, charming as the devil, wild as Katrina, self-serving, dominant, bossy. The most amazing physical chemistry. In the morning reads love poetry to the lady, scares the hell out of her (where is the wild, untamed, unflinching creature I came with last night?), always feeds her, dresses her, makes sure she is not cold or hot, never like this with anyone else. Another 12th house touch: amazing non-verbal communication; lady at the table, surrounded by hundreds of people, is thinking: I want that sauce from the other side. Cap hands the sauce. No words exchanged. They are both reading by the fire, Cap is thinking: I am cold, I want that window closed. Lady closes the window. No words exchanged. This lead to two successful projects with non-verbal theatre, pantomime dancing, Cap is an actor. No need for words. Cap independent, wild, very tough man, but controlling and possessive. Would like to keep lady in the basement in chains if possible. One day Cap raises voice at the lady in public, gets put in his place big time, suffers immensely apparently, doesn't speak to lady anymore. Recently back in touch with lady for another artistic project. The energy is still there, intact, I don't see it go away ever. Actual romance/passion took 10 years, but no actual living together (hence not included in my love profile for Faith ). Friends and loving each other for more than 20 years. To be continued.

an unrequited synastry with mutual 7th house overlay, Sun conjunct Venus (so much discussed these days, and I have at least 5 personal examples with this conjunction going either way, from love to outright dislike/contempt), Moon conj Moon exact with Moons as love rulers, Venus Mars DW and all the other goodies (love rulers conjunct) BUT no physical/romantic attraction for the lady/ My guess: no aspect to the Sun, "true" DSC ruler for the lady. That's why I wanted to show it to you. But no dislike and contempt here,I love this man as a friend, wonderful man, and I have the utmost admiration for him, an accomplished architect, who built an entire village, hospitals and schools, in the most remote poorest African villages and has received the most prestigious award in his country (in fact, international) for voluntary work/philanthropy and architecture. We have been friends for more than 15 years.

Here we go..this is how I made my decision.

At first I thought it was the Virgo, for some obvious reasons:

* Moon conjunct moon
* Virgo's sun and moon fall into the lady's 7H
* Virgo's Libra Venus conjunct the lady's Pluto

* The Cap's Saturn-Juno on the lady's IC, trine her sun, making her feel secure
* The lady has a DSC-Saturn conjunction in Cancer; the man is a 4H Cap sun, matching the Cancer/Cap flavor of her DSC.
* Even though the conjunction is wide, or only by sign, the lady has a Cap ASC, the man has a Cap sun.

Along with some additional perks:

* Looks like her Vertex is conjunct his SN
* His NN-moon-Eros-Pholus in the 5H, widely opposing her Leo moon...there's the excitement of the unfamiliar, with a touch of the familiar (the Leo/5H mirroring)
* His Venus-Jupiter works almost like a Sag Venus, catching the interest of her Leo moon
* Her moon conjunct his POF, forming a fixed grand cross with his Mars, Saturn, and Lust. I feel like he always makes her feel desirable, while remaining elusive enough to remain kind of mysterious and keep her interest.

The only problem is, he doesn't have much to offer her nodal axis, so she may not see him as The One.

Great catch with the nodal axis from my side, no hard aspect to the ruler either, there is a Sun Jupiter sextile though, and Mars trine Jupiter. I wonder how important this may be; however, I don't think he is the one, at this point, it is true

Such a lovely description of the many mirrors by sign, aspect, house! And thank you for Venus/Jupiter, I haven't even noticed it, and thing is, I have Venus opp Jupiter myself. You described the relationship perfectly, with those aspect descriptions.

One is 5th rulers conj, with Cap, the other 8th rulers conjunct, amazing isn't it? and I think Venus conj Pluto here had the unrequited connotation, coupled with some Saturn action too maybe, although I like Saturn; but I think the Sun must be the major clue to my unresponsiveness.

Thank you, Rosalind. I know you are not a fan of the 12th house, but my experience is different with that; they can be the most intimate, soul to soul relationships. Apart from the overlays, I think an important factor here is the difference in the number and richness of aspects. This always seems to win, in my experience.

Hi this is spot on, thank you. I've always thought that, his Scorpio stellium in my 10th has 1st house value for me, as a Cap ASC, and Mars/ASC is of course, very significant. It gave us a "matrimonial" vibe, attraction, but also the power to work together very efficiently. It's indeed a very complex relationship with many rewards on many levels.
