I can relate to that, actually. I've had similar experiences with better-educated men and I've spoken here about how I've developed a preference for men who don't have a university degree. My experience tells me that those men are usually looking for much the same as well. But in the beginning I was very open-minded and didn't really have any real preferences and I think that I genuinely thought that I could make it work with anyone. How naive was I?  . But these are the kinds of things one can only learn from experience and time. That's what dating is about, is figuring out what works for you and what doesn't.

AG, I liked you when I first started posting here back in 2012. There was a time when you actually seemed to be enthusiastic about astrology and I read your posts with some interest, even if I had had much different experiences with the placements you had an affinity for. I'm talking about my FB inbox in early January and February. When you messaged me and I told you about my breakup. And we talked about astrology briefly and why certain aspects are to be avoided. And the entire time I was telling you personal things about my breakup and losing my friend right before my birthday and you were just telling me she's jealous "because I'm hotter than her."
Or as you put it, "you being nice to me." Yeah, you seem to have a very selective memory around here.
No, you didn't store up enough goodwill in that brief exchange for me to completely overlook the fact that you hate my gender and use every thread as an opportunity to rant about it.
