quote: You really like that style don't you? It's very alpha male. But I think without a partner it seems more like masturbation. A dance like that needs a woman in it because it's void of any sexuality without her presence. His reason for those moves are pointless.
Yes and No. It verily depends upon the dance. Salsa for instance can work well both with and without partners. The style that Kurt is doing in that video is called the "Fleminco" and its all about solo exibition. You ahve to see women who do the Fleminco... God! Alpha Females at their best: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWP2Hz9U61Q&feature=related Oh I like contemporary but am not a total fan of it. You have to see Allison and Ivan tackle the Argentine Tango: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=milNJYvRX5E&feature=related IP: Logged |

Lol! Madonna and Britney. Hmmm, I am gonna go more along the lines of Lella Lombardi (both beautiful and talented in her own right ) She is a formula 1 driver: http://pboursin.club.fr/ladies/amati.jpg Alpha Male has to have enough sense and leadership qualities to effectively plow new roads and create opportunities for himself and his group but at teh same time, isn't deaf to the needs and wants of others. In short he should be able to decide effectively as to when is the right time to take total charge of a situation and when its right to leave things be. Yes Maximus is an Alpha male . Well one would end up saying that "YEAH! He was a selfish jerk out for revenge." Untrue. He placed the importance of teachings of Marcus Aurelius over hos own visions and wants. IP: Logged |

Joaquin Phoenix totally stole that movie! I think an alpha male has to have some element of redemption about him - to humanise him. We can't accept the bad guys - only when there's something redeemable about them. And where they can't be redeemed they are killed off to appease everyone. The term alpha male makes me think of the Marlboro Man - not the crappy movie with Mickey Rourke and Don Johnson - but the cigarette ad. That is so unappealing. Yes, the smoking, but that whole image. Like the Solo man with his drink running down his chin. Oh yeah! That's real hot! Grub. IP: Logged |

Are you planning on modelling cigarettes or manly drinks? Condoms perhaps? I want to see you in one of those tampon ads. You know where the SNAG boyfriend is doing the cute boyfriend thing. Many famous people have started that way. I'm just trying to think of one. Yeah, just one........... ***inside PA's head: circus music***I'll get back to you. IP: Logged |

Can you do this? If you don't look that good - it's okay (not that I think that's sexy, mind you), but I know that I can have a conversation with you. NO-ONE can say that about Becks. IP: Logged |

Hmmm, true but that only limits the selection down to "Anti Hero" alpha males. Remember that Alpha males are trail blazers and that means that most Alpha males are desired for their good qualities they show and those are the qualities that usually are examplified. IP: Logged |

Is Batman an anti-hero? I mean specifically Christian's Batman in the last two Batman movies? The others have been sugar coated. In Hollywood terms, Batman is redeemable because he's good looking. Sometimes that's all that movie goers need. Shallow and fickle, but true. By your definition, Clint Eastwood character's, Westerns and Dirty Harry, etc, are alpha males. IP: Logged |

Batman is definately an anti-hero. When you see the ending of the Dark Knight, Gordan's little monolouge is enough to convince the masses that yes... Batman is an anti-hero.Clint Eastwood as Drity Harry? Yes he definaetly has Alpha Male qualities to him. So does Steve Mc Queen as Bullet, etc. You have a trail blazer that is reluctant to take upon the darker road to complete a task but is forced to do so anyway. IP: Logged |
