'She loves the idea of me coming home in costume because it makes her feel like she's having an affair in a good way. 'When we met, I was cast as a prisoner with tattoos and she'd say: "Don't take your tattoos off tonight" and I'd be like: "All right". 'But what works best with her is the stockbroker look.'

Yeah, I like mr bm in his fireman's uniform. Just the hat, mind. The coal miner's I like, but nothing beats the council workman. He can't rub his tatts off so we have to keep them on. Mind you, I've got a couple myself that are unavoidable. IP: Logged |

Why Taurus is the most intelligent Mercury sign, by Ms B. Moon. Easy innit? Taurus is the only one that gets it right. So what if the rest are quicker? Slap-dash Gemini rushes at everything and makes silly mistakes they would never have done if they took it a bit more steady. Don't believe me? Read any email off my brother or check out the hash the old fella makes of the cross-word. As for Aries, well, I can say what I like about them at this point, they won't have read this far. Attention span of gnats. The other Earth signs, that's true, Capricorn are very sensible and are good problem solvers. But mr bm has this sign, so that only proves that when it comes to politics, Capricorn Mercury doesn't know wtf it is talking about. Virgo, yes, but then they go and do that clever arse thing and ruin it all. Libra are fair and reasonable, but someone's got to make the difficult decisions. They just don't cut it like Taurus. Aquarius are a close second to Taurus but they just don't have the same common sense. Sag, similar, they're not really practical thinkers are they? As for Leo, forget it. They don't work on the principle of rationale and logic. My mother is one, so that closes the argument. Cancer Mercury? How can you be that over-sensitive and think straight? I rest my case. Water signs and Mercury don't mix, maybe Scorpio at a push but they are bound to get the hump at some point and then it all goes down the pan. Pisces, a goldfish would be more help if you want an answer that makes sense.

Wow, whose bare buttocks were those?! I'm intrigued.I completely forgot his royal hotness, Hugh Jackman... Robert Downy Jr... ...I've always had a serious thing for that guy. I always thought the talent alone made him sexy as hell...and then I saw Iron Man IP: Logged |

bmROFL. Absolutely BRILLIANT. I like DD's suggestion to post it. Put it in the astro forum and then step back and watch everyone else fight over it. Don't respond again - just post it and leave it. Too funny!

You may wish to re-word that statement (or was it carefully worded to begin with?). Then again, it gives new meaning to Crocadile Rock. Or maybe JT is just a "croc star". Okay okay - I never said I was good. Ah, love rock and rockers. No music beats c0ck rock - or, should that be "croc rock". Okay - enough!

metaGot a thing for Aussie men this week! quote: What do ye think of Richard Roxburgh?
Good actor. Terrible roles. I first noticed him about ten years ago in this lovely Aussie movie called "Thank God He Met Lizzie" which starred a not so famous Cate Blanchett. They played a married couple and it's their wedding day but he keeps having flashbacks of a former love and the difference between the two relationships and ladies. Nice movie. Like Russell Crowe - before he was a mega-star he made this little Aussie film called "The Sum Of Us" where he plays a gay man who lives with his father and it's their relationship as well as him and his sexuality and a new love. It's really funny and very very warm. Great movie. My favourite Aussie movie ever. If you want to see Russ in full swing - the movie "Romper Stomper" is the way to go. IP: Logged |

metaI finally watched Casino Royale. Have you seen it? There is this one scene - OMG! They're in the shower - it's not sexual - but she's traumatised and she's sitting under a cold shower and he walks in and sits with her and.............. if you haven't seen it, you have to see it. Wait, I'll try and find a YouTube posting of it. Found it. http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=1suTyL2PWwI&feature=related IP: Logged |

23One day when it's just the two of us on-thread, remind me to have a chat with you about an observation about Simon and a particular body part (not what you're thinking, I promise). I think it would be highly offensive to some people, but I think you'll get it. IP: Logged |

23,thank you for that link. Well, if it`s true I guess I`m doomed to marry Jude. He looks like my brother and Dad, and his sister looks like the daughter my mum and Dad never had. PA,
a really moving scene I agree. Like that a lot. Why was she sitting in the shower? IP: Logged |

I'll have to check that movie out. I know he played Hamlet (swoons) with Cate Blanchett before. I love her. She's my favorite actress. I think i have quite a large girl crush on her. But i meant what do you think of Richard Roxburgh ATTRACTIVE-WISE? I looked at our synastry and we have no true attraction aspects but i've always been quite smitten with him. I agree on his roles though- he tends to get the "character" pieces rather than the actually leading man parts. ON RUSSELL- I've seen the Sum of Us & Romper Stomper. RS was truly great; he was a real villain. But Sum of Us... well, it was sweet, but it didn't REALLY move me. The relationship with his father was nice, but it seemed a bit unrealistic i guess.. i don't know how to explain it.. IP: Logged |
