Your taking the examples too literally instead of seeing my point, which is the overall concept behind it.
Your right, I dont expect people to know weather conditions of every big city in the world. However the CONCEPT behind that weather example is...Vancouver is indeed one of 3 biggest cities in Canada. America being it's immediate neighbour should know some "general," geography, etc. They should at least know Van isnt covered in 6'feet of snow because it's North of them. If you asked me to locate Lebanon on a map, I'd at least roughly know where it's situated. Or the fact Prague is in Czech. I was just saying your average American doesnt seem to know these things, so of course they wont really take interest in bigger concepts like Politics.

No offense taken to your film industry comment. I wasnt basing my impression on film ppz btw. I actually meet many ppz outside of the industry. I mean even back in HS it was noticeable to me how geographically challenged my American friends were, even when it came to their own country.

Incase anyone's interested...the "shallow," Film industry does control the MEDIA, which is tied in with the illuminati....

Anyways Van in winter...is usually at 0 degrees...or -5 at most. In general it doesnt get colder than that, except for the odd winter (which is why it usually doesnt snow). New York snows much more than Van...and could go down to -30. You could tell me to wikipedia etc, but until you've lived in both places and experienced multiple winters in general.........

Also, I'm tired of people constantly saying "wiki," it. If Wiki really did answer everything in truth...what's the point of having biased Media...

Anyways I'm not undermining you or anyone for that matter. I dont know why your getting all worked up for. Like I said in my earliest Post, "most," Americans dont know, or perhaps would only know about their OWN immediate politics.
My point in that post before, American motives tying in with Middle East/China/etc...ARE a part of American politics, because they ARE involved with those countries! It's not just "world politics."

So unless anyone can answer in full detail all those (WHYS) I brought up in that post...(& those were only a few obvious issues, there are TONS)....then I applaud them & my Hat's off.
