You see what is going on here Lara,

Is that you find a problem with Kate marrying William, and I, find it absolutely hilarious that you have come to identify yourself with someone who has the right to call her a 'commoner' when you need to take a hard look at yourself.

You finding a problem with that, goes to show how much you are influenced.

Natural selection is still very valid. It makes sense to reproduce with whoever is the strongest and most highly adapted for the current environment...

That may or may not support breeding with royal bloods, or any other blood lines.

Lara, What is wrong with marrying on Saturn's Return?
They're both exalted in Libra,
hers to the exact degree of exaltation (21).

I posted this earlier but it got lost

Their synastry to me at first glance is not that cohesive, unfortunately there's no birth time for her. And I don't really know their story, media background on their affair.

She looks healthy enough, maybe everyone is expecting her to be outrageously beautiful (I think the magnetism of Princess Di will be hard to top). But he's no prize either, physically speaking. That goes for pretty much all of em..

well i dont follow their story so much but to me.... i feel this story wont end well.lately ive been listening to my intuition a lot and it never gets me wrong.

i do hope that they marry by love adn that is stronger than everything else.

but..we never know what was the soul contract that they did between each other...who knows..they must have their own things to live and when it ends...it is already destined to Be.

there might be love there but i certainly dont see a love there that is for instance...as passionate and intense as i would love to see.

things like pressure from the Royal family, what Diana passed through..all that is inehrent to what William lived...those kind of things ...might get in the way for these two.Kate is lovely and intelligent but i think that she doesnt know quite yet on what she has put herself in.

Lara

if you dont mind, could you explain better about not marrying in satur return? why is that?i thought that the most common time actually for people to get married, was precisely there

hmmm i have saturn in 0 libra and john in 22Libra so...dont know if that is important.

It'd be funny if they were planning something behind the scenes. Like never having children.

"i think that she doesnt know quite yet on what she has put herself in."
I think you'd have to be crazy to want to get in there, just like if you wanted to be president, you'd have to have a screw loose somewhere.

I also thought similar lines around Saturn return, at the very least increased responsibility, similar somewhat to t.Saturn over the Asc, even Mc for that matter.

Diandra

The saturn return is highly karmic. It tests you beyond a test previously in your life. It uproots you, throws limitations upon you as Saturn rules over you and confronts stability and the core structure of your life!

For these two it is in Libra - relationships!

Like you, l get a bad feeling. Of course the Saturn return is also positive but it is normally associated with endings that are less than pleasant and KARMA due or owed.

Her Neptune is 25 Sag.
Conjunct Super Galactic Centre.
Don't know if that means anything

I've been looking at her chart using different times.

From 6pm all except Moon, N.Node and Chiron are in the bottom half of the chart.

Am I right in thinking that there would probably be more above the horizon, and something in the 1st house?

TRUFAX....hahahaha. But seriously? Bloodlines? I'm sorry, but royal families probably have the weakest ones since they intermarry so often. And don't you ever dare tell me I'm a stupid American who knows nothing about royalty and who can intermingle and who can't because I come from an ethnic group that is ruled by a KING.

Bottom line: royalty is a nice piece of culture to have, and yes people from starkly different upbringings will have difficulty adjusting to eachother, but in the end this isn't 1700 anymore....don't get your panties in a twist because the Prince wishes to marry a commoner.

You know what is interesting about Diana. She was not a classic beauty at all.
It was something inside that came out.
That is really interesting to me.
The symmetry of looks goes just so far.
Then, there is something which radiates from the inside.

Very glad the topic has returned to astrology and royal marriages, let's keep it there shall we?

As far as Catherine's ascendant (I think we should get used to calling her HRH Princess Catherine, although the media will probably continue to nickname her Kate), I am leaning towards Libra...maybe Taurus.

I did not think she was super pretty until I watched the presser live, but she was striking "in person"...and there was something very Venusian about her slender elegance, the demure way she leaned against William, the feminine way she tossed her hair when she was nervous, wiggled her fingers to show off her ring, etc. And she has the deepest most incredible dimples. Quite lovely, really. I'm totally charmed!
(a very Libran thing to do to a person, especially me)

http://www.cnn.com/video/?/video/world/2010/11/16/sot.will.kate.engaged.intv.ukpool (the vid "Kate Shows Off Her Engagement Ring" is the one that really reveals their dynamic and what I'm talking about)

Thoughts?

I am pretty good with ASCs and I usually rely on appearance last, moreso demeanor. This one's throwing me for a loop a bit!

She has dimples but her lips are too thin. Maybe a Taurus ASC.
