Yes, you were right, and yes I agree, I think the first one looks better, too.EVen though I dread those harsh Pluto/Saturn/BML aspects. It`s just too serious and draining.
That is very interesting about the Sun being your solar ruler; so basically your progressed Solar-ASC-ruler is conjunct your Venus. That must mean something!
Interestingly, in my Solar Return I have an Aries ASC and Jude has a Libra ASC in his. LOL
And even funnier, natally I have Mars (Aries) on the ASC, and he has Venus (Libra) on the ASC.
Do we believe this to be a coincidence? 
EDIT:
My Solar DSC ruler would be Venus and my progressed Venus is conjunct my natal 7th house ruler Mercury and also conjuncts my pr Antivertex and opposes my natal DAvida/Cupido-conjunction EXACTLY! Jude`s Solar DSC Ruler, Mars; his pr Mars conjuncts my natal Sun and natal DSC ruler and approaches a conjunction to my name in his chart!

DD, for solar return W/ Jude do you use the natal place of birth or the place they (he)was at time of return?

I used the natal place of birth.I don`t know where he has been on his birthday, and I have been in my birthcity during my birthday, so for me it doesn`t make a difference. Hard to believe, but I actually moved into the city I was born (it is some kilometres from where my parents used to live, but was the only nearby city which had a hospital). IP: Logged |

If I use Los Angeles for G then his DSC ruler is Neptune and Jupiter and they are conjunct my progressed DSC.(2-4) Asc ruler would be Mercury and solar mercury is conjunct my SN.If I use Kentucky Then his ASC ruler is Venus and his solar venus is conjunct my sun and psyche and his progressed venus conjunct his sun. Oh, Tristan conjunct Isolda.I hope it`s a good sign, and not a bad one.
I have that in tropical with the musical actor I had such a huge crush on for almost all my life. On the other hand, noone has to end like Tristan and Isolda, they only had to make a decision and stick to it and they could have been happy together despite society. All in all I think Tristan / Isolda as well as Lancelot / Guinevere are a sign of a fated, irresistible attraction, one that may be forbidden or at least unexpected and maybe viewed suspiciously by society, but you just can`t resist it. You know about all these trials and tribulations awaiting you, but you can`t stay away from each other.
WEll, Jude`s Lancelot is exactly opposite my Guinevere and his Draco Arthur is conjunct my Guinevere.

I think soulmates do feel the draco/draco stronger than most people would.

Actually I think strong Draco-Draco-connections ARE a sign of being soulmates in the first place. At least if oyu ahven`t been born very close to each other.
How is Italy? Any George-meeting yet?

Hi DD I'm in a great mood today - seems like it's sort of back on with gun man!!! lol
I'm nicknaming him rollercoaster from now on This other guy with the intense aspects is a guy from NYC who won't leave me alone. He's driving me insane and he is so confident and almost ego driven! I thought it was interesting to see the aspects as i'm attracted and yet repeled by him.
