I have real world experience with drugs,drug users,and the court/justice system. I have seen it from all sides and have experienced it first hand and seen friends and family involved in it all too. Dont tell me im naive when I have experienced it firsthand. IP: Logged |

What are you talking about? I'm using real life experiences. You've still yet to answer why it's okay for drug dealers to aid users!? Why is it okay for them continue to help addictions without suffering consequences!? Not saying it doesn't exist but how do YOU know what's what? I have personal experience too and not just cousins or friends of friends. Former s.o... And immediate family members, close friends.
Myself too. Drinking, pot and "k2" a few times.

Well I know that drugs are not responsible for some of the things some addicts do. Its not drugs that cause people to murder or rob others because I know tons of druggies who would give you the shirt off of their backs. One of the common misconceptions i hear alot is druggies have no conscious as a result of drug use... The reality is those people had no conscious long before they ever lit up or shot up whatever drug they were taking. I respect that some people had experiences with druggies but it was not the drugs fault, it was the persons fault. Its the same with alcohol.. Some people get drunk and physically and verbally abuse their loved ones . So should we just ignore the masses of people who drink regularly and never behave in that way? Because thats exactly what we are doing with drugs... We want to condemn a whole group of people because of the actions of a few.

AG - that last statement was arrogant enough. You aren't some world authority. I can't help this is all Aspergers'. I'm not a psychologist or psychiatrist but your dogmatism is a bit too much and I don't refer only to this post but a lot of things you've complained about. I am no different than anyone else . Everyone thinks they have all the answers. The only difference between me and the opposition in this thread is this issue is very personal to me and I know what i'm talking about. Quit bringing up aspergers as it is irrelevant here.
