That seems like a cultural or personal line of thinking to me. I don't experience that so much with the people I know and the city I live in. (Well, that I lived in for 15 years anyway. I am going to unveil the reason there is a sexual double standard and most of you probably aren't going to like it. But this is the way it is from the perspective of a man. The reason men who are highly sexed are viewed highly is because sex actually takes effort on the part of a man. Men admire other men who have sex with attractive women and women desire men who are highly sexed , so this phenomenon is reinforced by both genders. On the other end getting sex is as easy for breathing for 99% of women, even women who are viewed as unattractive by most men. Highly sexed women don't impress men because we know and understand that sex is extremely easy for them (perhaps this is where the term easy comes from). Other women aren't impressed either because of the same reasons and they also see such women as fools who are putting themselves at risk for unwanted pregnancies and stds. In the grand scheme of things a highly sexed man has everything to gain and a highly sexed woman has nothing to gain. Unfair ? Probably, but that's just the way life is. IP: Logged |

Ok Well clearly Padre you have a very particular take on the world.
I think you'll find it is not shared by a majority of people in the Western world, but there are conservative cultural groups who would very much agree with you.I don't have much left to say to you, because from my personal perspective as a woman - your take on things is so bogus, I don't even feel like there a point in arguing.

Think about it this way too.. Even women who are virgins typically want a sexually experienced man or they are apathetic about his sexual past. Its a phenomenon known as hypergamy .. Basically women typically want the highest status man they can get and fight over them and hold out until they can get them.
