The Virgo and Taurus young women at work seem to use MySpace as a spy tool or something. I've long had a profile, but I seldom go there. Same with Facebook.

Facebook is amazing because all these high school friends have shown up. I thought my interaction with all of those people died when my best friend died. He was my only bridge back to my high school after I left southern California. So it is kind of cool to meet up with old friends again.

I grew up in Tustin. The week I graduated high school my family moved to TN. I tried staying in SoCal, but eventually gave in, and went to Tennessee myself. It was the three most depressing years of my life, and I picked up smoking there. Through an odd turn of events I was sort of forced into the Navy. I'd merely wanted to get my parents attention in order to have a serious conversation with them, but instead they said they wouldn't help me with my now $500 fix-it ticket unless I joined the Navy. I ended up only paying $11 in court costs once I'd fixed my minor thing, but it was too late. I was already in. The Navy put me on a ship based out of Concord, CA, which is up here. As you can imagine, I didn't want to go back to TN when I got out. Three of my Navy friends were staying in the area, so I did, too.

It's not beautiful either, especially in winter. Looks gross.

Here in the winter the hills get nice and green, and you enjoy driving a bit more. There everything turns brown, and it can be like a sea of brown and grey. It's really not attractive at all. It is boring, though.

If you do go into the military, which I doubt, I would recommend the Air Force. They seem to have it best.

I almost moved to Nashville, and got chased by a tornado the last time I was there in '98. That was interesting

Walnut Creek - yeah I'm familiar with outdoor malls. I try to avoid malls generally, they drive me crazy lol.
I'm not big on dance clubs but I like live music. Do they have a fair amount of mom n pop owned places in Walnut Creek, AG?

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I just bought this song. It's awfully cheery, but I still like it.

Hey I might do it...you never know...just not now...like within the next 2 years...

My progressed asc and moon is going to go into ARIES in 2 years! I cant imagine what would suit joining the military more than that.

AIR FORCE?! why does everyone say that?? LOL i wanna travel a lot. Navy probably.

I wouldn't guess that they do, MVM. You could probably find more in Pleasanton or Danville.

Writesomething, I remember I was going through a breakup and living in New Orleans, and somewhere, in my twisted mind frame, I became convinced that I had to move to Nashville to be...a country singer. Now, I'd never sung professionally in my life. And I didn't like country music. But in my mindframe, I HAD to go for some reason (yes, I was sober).
So in 24 hours I got in my car and drove there, and 24 hours after that, a tornado hit and I was forced outta Nashville...drove back to New Orleans a day later and went, um, ok. So maybe I won't be a country singer in Nashville

Thanks, I am good.

Aside from realising I have missed a child's birthday and feeling annoyed with myself, very. Not much I can do except deliver a late present. Maybe get a better calendar next year and a red pen to go with it.
