AG and Darkdreamer,

Is a person who listens to the weather report every morning letting the meteorologist give him "permission" to wear short-sleeves, or carry an umbrella? Is a person who listens to the traffic report every morning letting the "eye in the sky" give him "permission" to take a certain route that day? We rely on all sorts of things and we base our behaviors on probabilities and rules of thumb. The problem is when people think that the weather man, the traffic dude, and the astrologer are always right. Trends in weather and traffic can only be predicted so far, and astrology is even more susceptible to misinterpretation, but these are still tools which it is wise to rely on in uncertain situations. "A wise man rules by the stars; a fool is ruled by them."

I'm sure that both of us believe that it may unduly bias some people, which is fine if it's a positive bias, but in the case of a negative bias opportunities may be avoided for reasons that don't necessarily hold merit. I'd rather people unlimit themselves, than limit themselves.

HSC,

I definitely think astrology is a wonderful tool, otherwise I wouldn`t use it so excessively.

But sometimes it`s good to remember that there comes a certain risk with it.

For example:
The weatherman tells me that there will be a lot of rain on that afternoon, I had planned going out.

Well, let`s assume there are two possibilities to react.
1. I stay at home, shut the windows and don`t go out. So I won`t get wet in the rain.

2. I still go out, but I am prepared for the weather, taking an umbrella with me.

Hmm, maybe the comparision is not as good as I thought.

What I wanted to say is just that astrology is very useful, indeed; bu`t it`s like you said, we shouldn`t be ruled by it; and we definitely shouldn`t shut others out, just because the synastries apparently are less than great.

Maybe if we get fixated upon certain "signs" like Sun-Moon-conjunction for example we miss out on other wonderful opportunities and experiences, that would be good for our growth, too.
Besides I think we haven`t yet discovered everything there is in astrology; so it may be that we just miss out on really good connections, because we don`t know about them.

I'm just saying:
using it liberally is not necessarily using it excessively.

Through consistent use,
you can learn to incorporate those seeming anomolies
in order to identify the aspects, or combination of aspects,
which are likely to trump even the tauted Sun/Moon conjunction.

As you can see, I'm working on a zillion assignments that are due this Friday.

Godzala is holding a fancy dress ball. Of course, it's not a gratuitous function. All proceeds are going to The Brad Pitt When Will I Ever Win A ******* Oscar Fund. As the concept suggests - we all have to dress up. Match the Godzala contributor with the outfit or character:

1) bm
2) DD
3) AG
4) Xodian
5) MVM
6) 23
7) Zala
8) meta
9) koi
10) spunky
11) PA
12) wheels
13) sunshine
14) write
15) Lexx
16) Scorpy Web
17) HSC

a) David Lee-Roth - blonde wig, spandex, etc.
b) Marilyn Monroe - ala, Happy Birthday Mr President
c) Cheer-leader
d) Gandhi
e) The Joker (as in from Batman)
f) Playboy bunny
g) bunny (as in furry rabbit suit with floppy ears)
h) Cleopatra
i) Barbie Doll
j) Pan (with prosthetic, ummm, yeah, horsey bits)
k) Nun
l) Supermodel (Zoolander style)
m) Austin Powers
n) Phantom Of The Opera
o) Sandy from Grease
p) Merlin
q) The Godfather

Oh, so you know whether straight or curved, bulbous or proportionate, circumsized or uncircumsized?

I just checked to see if I had your email, so I could tell you. For some reason I thought you'd contacted me at some point for some reason I don't recall.

Yes to all of the above regarding shapes, though I have never guessed circumsized or not. I think I'd be scared to guess that one.

Damn! I gave you that one, too, but only for lack of options. I was thinking cheerleading as in being a fan of people, and helping cheer them on. It was that or Playboy bunny or Barbie. I think I'd rather come up with characters for everyone independently.
