I understand. It can take a life time to heal. Especially when we really are so very vulnerable under all that tuff stuff.
We weren't tough as kids, it is learned behaviour & it's just so sad. It does make us better people if we can stay open & search for the truth. Sometimes when our inner child is still crying that is cold comfort indeed. I'm sending you a big bear hug in spirit. Why? Because you deserve it. IP: Logged |

Tough as kids. Interesting concept. Never a tough kid. Just one that learnt really well to hold a poker face otherwise all hell would break loose. It was the only method of survival in that house.I'm retraining myself to show some emotion - even though I feel it in floods inside - you'd rarely know it. I can hold the same expression throughout any news - the happiest to the saddest. But that ability to distance is useful too. Sending you hugs right back. Why? Because you deserve it. IP: Logged |

When you come from those backgrounds, you're going to attract those partners because you don't know any different or that you deserve any different. Funny thing is at that time you worry about losing those people and relationships and yet, doing that is the best thing. And when you know that you deserve better - you attract better. So you know, what's coming is going to be healthier, happier, etc.IP: Logged |

Thanks spunky I'm not expecting bad news. No news would be the best. I'm off to bed too. Exhausting day today. And not much sleep last night watching over the asthmatic one. Giving you a return big kiss. Not the toddler type. I was thinking more the Gerry type, but that wouldn't be appropriate. So I think a big St Bernard type would be just right. IP: Logged |

Ah how cute is this picture! PA,
I hope your blood-test results will be okay. Also, yes, I probably t hought more in terms of sexual appetite than your definition of lust.
And yes opening up definitely is a lesson one never quits learning. Definitely a big one for me.
But I find the more I am secure in myself and know who I am and what I believe, the easier it becomes opening up to others. Maybe because I`m not so dependent on their judgement anymore? IP: Logged |

Actually I like Kenneth Branagh a lot. AS far as I know he`ll be directing "Hamlet" in London or has he pulled out?I laughed tears about him in "Much ado about nothing". Loved it! Even though I must admit I loved Keanu more in this. IP: Logged |

Let's have another look... ASTRO BACHELOR!
Who would be your best match..? Bachelor 1- The Comedian (No Birthtime) Yeah, it was the Cancer influence ~ his Sun Square my Moon, his Mercury Square my Uranus. Long term, that could be un-fun. O.K with lots of space. Same Venus, though.

but isn't it often the way... or at least it is with me... the most unlikely people I get along with...the odd combinations...there's nothing to say you would get along, nothing in common, but someone you just do...I think it is Uranus in 11th.

Ok, I looked up the details before Meta put the stuff up. And I knew that I've seen the 25 June bachelor details because, because I looked him up a few months back. I now remember Lydon having the same Sun-Moon combo as me, it's just so hard to believe that he is Libra Moon, I have to watch a few interviews with him. Still, if I was to see him, I wouldn't go for him as he is too pastey for my taste. So Gervaise it is despite the strange Sun-Moon combo for me, but his Moon is likely to fall on my Vx-NN which is why I chose him. His Venus also falls on my SN. I think he is Cancer rising myself. Like the guy. At least I could write comedy with him, so would this guy, I suspect.Love this photo. Bowie is interesting. There seems to be some variation in his birthchart, he sometimes appears as Libra ASC. I think he's Aquarius ASC because he's a bit angular and well, is a bit eccentric, at least projection is. I find it interesting how he has Moon/Pluto on the DSC. He's the only other person that I've seen with that apart from me, I wonder if it would make us "more" compatible. IP: Logged |

It's not fun being back at work. My energy level has been alright, but I've been annoyed, and had a headache. I may have just gotten rid of the headache with some chocolate.Nice to see Spunk and PA working out their demons. I'm happy to not have any real psychos in my romantic past. IP: Logged |

Wow! Nearly 11:00pm here, and no Australians? I would think they'd be around by now.I decided to go to my improv class tonight. I wasn't sure if I should while still being a little sick, but it was as much fun as usual, and I was happy to have a couple of good one liners. I listened to a bit more of Bill Bryson's book on Australia today, and was warmed by the fact that he hated Darwin. I trust there are no male Darwinians here, and that my words were safe to say. My ship was there a few years prior to Bryson's trip, and I personally narrowly missed two fights. One was a bar brawl. My friend and I were on our way there when it was disbursing, so we didn't go there. Later, after wandering the city aimlessly for awhile we met up with another friend, and sought to enter a different bar. My friend wasn't allowed in because he had steel-toed shoes on, so we went across the street for a bite to eat. 15 minutes later two guys from our ship came out of that bar torn up, and bloodied. One had cracked part of one of his front teeth off. Bryson didn't write of any altercations, but he was certainly stifled by their unfriendliness and lack of professionalism. IP: Logged |

I could point you the places to go for a fight in my home town. But mostly we are decent people. Last night I checked out Law & Order U.K, it wasn't bad at all, but Bill Paterson is in it, and if he read through the telephone directory, I'd be there. Sean Bean is on tonight, just thought, this clashes with someone trying to drag me out. He'd better record it for me, and recognise the brutal truth that between him and Sean he's never going to win the battle for my short attention span. IP: Logged |

Oh, I'm no fighter. I was always tall for my age growing up. I thought I'd hurt someone if I got in a fight. I was almost never sought out for a fight, because of my stature and easy going nature, so I never really learned how to do it. I always felt so detached from violence anyway. With regard to tv shows, I've taken to watching one of them online since I always miss it due to class. IP: Logged |

AG - Betchya you went to the Duck's Nuts in the CBD, the pub next to the cinema. I lived in Darwin for a year, never seen so many plastered body parts and bruises in my life before. One day I went shopping at Casuarina Square (the massive shopping centre in Casuarina) and a couple had a domestic around me when I was going up the escalators with the girl (didn't know her) and the guy was coming down, I was very close to getting knocked out myself. Cops were in the grocery store (Woolies for the Aussies out there). So much I could tell you about the place including almost missing international flights as well from Darwin Airport. Well worth living just for the experience. IP: Logged |
