Exactly.I have this friend with a 12 year old son, and she's teaching him that sex is dirty and wrong and such, and I'm scared she's going to turn him into a rapist. IP: Logged |

Here in Ireland the church taught their followers that sex was a mortal sin....and should only be practised to procreate.....and not for PLEASURE!!! Well the ones who didnt want kids were f***** then !!!!I have met so many people who are screwed up becos either their religion or mammies have told them sex was bad..... What a very strange and perverse way of thinking !!! And its no coincidence that people such as Faye, Magus, myself, and many more have a very open and liberal attitude to sex....why wouldnt we.....we were all born to repressed religious mothers !!!! Says it all really doesnt it? If you love yer kids enough and want them to have a healthy and balanced love life, tell them the truth....sex is beautiful, sex is beautiful, sex is beautiful...... Hi Sue et alAlthough from England I was brought up RC and although my parents weren't all that strict (sex just wasn't discussed) I went to an all girls school and was taught by nuns - fortunately even then I had a mind of my own and questioned everything and totally rejected the Religion and all the Hypocrisy I saw. No offence meant here to RC's or members of any other Religious groups, I have my opinions but I do respect other peoples beleifs even though they are not mine. I have brought my girls up with fact not fiction re sex as I have with every other aspect of life. They come to me with all their questions (as they have from being quite small) and there is no embarassment to talk about anything. Even their friends who couldn't talk to their own mothers would come to me and although that's sad, at least they had someone to talk to, which I didn't at their age. Chrissie x

Quote: lioneye68 "Since nobody is doing anything to anybody against their will, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. Or, any form of kink for that matter. The lines are only crossed when somone imposes theirselves sexually on another against the other's will. I actually find the BDSM concept somewhat titilating."I feel the same way about it. Personally, I find the bondage concept quite fascinating because it requires complete trust. We spend our youth learning NOT to trust, because it gives the other person power to hurt us. After many lessons of broken promises, little (or big) betrayals and those proverbial phone calls that never come we learn to keep the safe distance. And then, some day it comes as a big surprise that we actually want to come close to someone but we just can't. So I think it can be rather liberating experience to GIVE another person the power to hurt you and KNOW that it will not be abused. Obviously, in today's world it is only possible as a game...lol P.S. Madame Sue, please reserve for me those pretty silver handcuffs with KK initials...

Fayte said"My 2nd. ex was like that. But get this... He loved my cooking! But when he put on almost 100 pounds it was my fault HE said! I said... What the heck am I supposed to do? Lock the fridge? He said yeah! Well I did not lock the fridge..... But then when I made him diet food I was being mean to him...so he said, & depriving him. I said...you blame me for your weight and now you blame me for your dieting. No one put a funnel down your throat and force fed you. And you know where the fridge is if you want to pig out. Oh he lost the weight but was angry at me the entire time and would cheat by running off to mama for goodies." LMAO... my ex-hubby did the same. He had gained about 30lbs (which looked GOOD on him since he was 6 foot 1 and only weighed 170lbs) I ended up cutting the portions down and cooking more veges. LOL..
The Ex fiance was a 400lb man waiting to happen - he fit the profile of your second ex... no wonder these men become our exes LOL... Sue, Ugh.. I hate that philosophy of sex being only for procreation. My mother tried that at one point, telling us that sex had to be within the confines of marriage or God would look down on us. Thank God my bro and I are both Saggies and just took her advice (as we do with most people) with a grain of salt. Sex is PLEASURABLE and meant to be enjoyed... a little kink never hurt anyone either (and if it did, it was consensual and there IS a fine line between pleasure nad pain hee hee

Because, maybe you REALLY mean it? lol..Are you hitting "enter" accidentally, on the key board? Are you hitting "submit" more than once, if it's taking a while? Usually, you just have to "refresh" to make your post appear. I've found that when I double or triple post, it's always my fault. IP: Logged |

I knew this woman who would not let her 15 year old son watch "Splash" that movie with Tom Hanks and the mermaid. She said her son did not need exposed to boobies and a naked butt. But she let him watch Chainsaw Massacre and other violet movies regularly. That young man went on to rob Lawsons conveinence stores across the area and burned several churches down. He raped some of the clerks at the conveient stores he robbed. A good Church going boy/young man who at only 19 had a wife and a baby. Then he begain his worse sprees. He is in prison for life with little chance of parole. Very handsome. Very repressed as a boy/teenager. Then married very young(the place for PROPER sex of course!.) with church and family blessings. Wonder if he could have watched a naked mermaid if he would have turned out different? I think so. When I knew him, he was shy and polite and very gentle. But somewhere along the line he flipped.------------------ ~I intend to continue learning forever~"Fayte" ~I am still learning~ Michangelo The Door to Gnosis is never permanently locked...one only needs the correct keys and passwords. I think if he hadn’t watched Chainsaw Massacre he would have turned out different. Watching that movie at 15 would have not made much difference, it was probably something started ( prolly by his mother ) a long time ago that reached it’s climax when he went psycho.I think sexual repression has it’s good side though - as it makes the person highly sexual - ironic…or not? Like my girlfriends who attended boarding school. They were basically told sex was bad and tried to protect them, which only made them gagging for it, and I quote “we did everything they told us not to”. Anyway, although I do think children should be free to do what they wish, we shouldn’t expose them to the adult world too early. I don’t think if the boy fayte mentioned was exposed to porn instead of horror, he would have turned out normal - though possibly not a rapist, just sexually repressed or a porn addict. ok now I’m just guessing IP: Logged |

Splash was not porn. I never said porn. That would not be good for a 15 year old boy. Maybe you did not see the movie. It was definely light weight and far from porn. ------------------ ~I intend to continue learning forever~"Fayte" ~I am still learning~ Michangelo The Door to Gnosis is never permanently locked...one only needs the correct keys and passwords.
