why would you say something like that?
You don't hear me men bashing.

Its because of posts from whiney women like you disappointed or worried why Mr. Wonderful with his Uranus tatooed on your head won't call or answer your e-mails anymore wahhh.

That was the whole point in starting this thread in the first place. Because of the absurdity of some of the drama I read and
To wise you up a little.

I have a feeling you just skim over my posts and pick out sentences or clusters of words and assume you know what I'm talking about.

wow..i dont know why everyone is making such a hoopla about this- when i first read it i figured it was tongue and cheek sort of writing-
and there are a lot of truth to what she says, despite what a lot of men(and women) want to believe, if you dont like the way the world thinks about relationships...then try to change it, good luck with that..

these games are clouding us from the main thing, to love and be loved, but nobody likes that anymore, too many people get bored, and tired- and i honestly think these games are just a distraction till we find the right one...the only thing is youll have to deal with the fact you might lose your true love because you were playing these games....

give me more Love, or more disdain;
the torrid, or the frozen zone
bring equal ease unto my paine:
the temperate affords me none;
either extreme, of love or hate,
is sweeter than a calme estate

So, the old "if you can't beat 'em join 'em" argument?

Not buying that for a second.

I think it's good that we have seen so many here seem to be on the same page, and readily admitting it may be a touch idealistic but very much worth it.

And all with a minimum of whining....

WHAT!!!!! I never…never talk about my relationships and whine. That’s exaggeration and then some. The only person I’ve talked about was my Cancer, and before that some other guys, and not once did I whine when discussing them. Wont call and answer my e-mail?!?!?!?!?!? And I said this when? That has never even happened?? Not even once. Did you mistake me for someone else?

Man bashing? You first post was man bashing…it was degrading. I understand women went through hell in the past, but “turning the tables” is illogical and pointless. Also something you seem to be forgetting, is the kind of guys your thinking of only go after “pretty young things” which would leave the majority of women on this planet out. Read that last sentence twice if you don’t get it.

Had there been a thread started degrading women, would you think the guy loves women??

Now play nice girls....

P.S:I have never seen WN "whine" about guys...

Anyway, nothing wrong with the "whining",it's okay, this board is supposed to be a kind of outlet anyway,so if it makes em feel better..no problem

Hi Lalalinda

Just wondered 'Why' really? I mean if having sex is something that both people want then why put a time limit on it? Seems a little lacking in spontaneity to me that's all. And to use an example from earlier in this thread, I believe Jennifer Anniston did exactly that with Brad Pitt and yet the relationship still broke down ultimately, so it wouldn't seem to be a full proof way of 'keeping them hooked.'

I firmly agree with developing a friendship but I don't see that the two things have to be mutually exclusive. It's just my opinion I know but I just feel if it's what you both want and it feels right, then go for it at whatever stage you're at. A little of what you fancy does you good, (as the old song goes )

Truly! Music of the "Sphere".

Who are you betting on?
My money would have been on England but for Rooney's injury. Right now its on Brazil.
However, for the first time, I would like to use some astrology, maybe as the tournament progresses to predict the most likely winner.

You know this site seems to have changed a lot since I found it 3 months ago. I was really excited by all the helpful astrology information but lately it's more like an episode of Jerry Springer with chairs and insults flying. People can't wait to jump down each other's throats --- people they've never even met. I think it undermines the effectiveness.

Mystical - there are always cycles like this here in LL, its part of the larger process.

I think there is validity in posts like Lala's where she clearly has decided some "home truths" needed to be meted out.

Whether she is right or worng, this kind of thing is as invaluable as everyone being loving and supporting, its all about a wider balance.

The fact that people get heated, opinionated and accuse others is like a wave of refreshing passion even though it may not resemble that at the time.

I've watched with fascination for a few years at the way this plays out here, but it always ends the same....with harmony and a greater understanding on all sides.

Its a nessecary evil.

I took a lot of time with this thread and deliberately made it humorous so as to not offend anyone.

This is not man bashing, I have not used the word dog once.

My point is to show how fickle men can be.

My examples are for men and everything has been turned around to apply to WN
I'm not asking how WE react I already know that. I get the feeling you don't really like other women. Even Jennifer Aniston doesn't measure up to your snide remarks.

When women constantly talk about how pretty they are I've got to wonder why they feel the need to verbalize so often. You even mentioned how unhappy you were and full of self esteem issues when you were younger and a horny maniac. Maybe you haven't gotten completely over those issues.

Usually I don't tolerrate rudeness, not for me or anybody else and we're boderline right now. So I'm going to take 5 and hope this thread straightens itself out.

I have enjoyed the mens responses immensly and I think if we can keep a sense of fair play we can continue. No mean insults please.

My next thread will be keeping a woman on her toes.

Should this be true? NO

Is it true? Welllllllllll.....

Bottom line ----> Try to remember that "most men" are NOT Betel and Swerve.

Please don't knock Sex and the City boys, it's very cathartic and addresses relationship issues and silent questions in young women's hearts... and without a little armor, most of us princesses would be dead from heartache by now.

IQ, I was feeling really confident about England winning it until Mr Rooney feel pray to the God of Metatarsals. If... Rooney recovers so he can take part in matches past the group phase, that would be good. I guess you heard that we have just bought in young Theo Walcott into the team. Just 17 years old, and hasnt played a premiership game for Arsenal yet, but hes supposed to be quicker than Billy Whizz.

I would have to agree with you though, Brazil are favourites, they just have too many heavyweights. And if England are going to win the World Cup, we will have to beat Brazil in the Quarter-Finals if the draw plays out as expected. Exciting times! This is like Christmas for me Using Astrology to predict it would be very interesting! How would you propose doing it?

Mystic, I know I shouldnt diss Sex in the City, I've been 'told off' by other female friends for it too. I havent seen much of it, maybe only 4 or 5 episodes, in 20 minute segments, then I cant resist switching off. I'm sure it has good qualities as well. I hear it is an extremely popular program with the Gay community too.

Ahh... LLL... I saw your disclaimer - Sorry for all the guff you're getting.

You are probably the least likely to ever offend someone on purpose here. It seems like we have one of those cycles in play right now (someone called it Jerry Springer like)

No worries.... it always dies down.

I plan to start a new topic on this once the world cup starts.

Then map the Natal Chart of the World Cup 2006 with certain Asteroids.

Next, scan for all name Asteroids of Nations taking part in the World Cup and see if the winner of any match had a favourable aspect in the transit chart of the World Cup's Natal.

If I find the correlations of which aspects indicated victory in the group stages, then I can pick the winner for every knockout match.

I have not back tested this hypothesis for previous World Cups cause I dont want to spoil my excitement of knowing whether this works or not beforehand

The more accurate method is to prepare a Composite chart of all players in a squad. I would rather "will" my preferred team at the moment to win than prepare 2 composites of 11 players each!

Hey, great ideas!
This could be a lot of fun. There are always upsets in a World Cup, no match is ever a certainty, which adds to the excitement of predicting potential shocks.
Peri, I didnt know anything about a Horary Chart until I saw that, thanks
Btw, as you know, Ukraine have a VERY strong team this year. They destroyed everyone in qualifying, and they could be one of the surprise packages.

IQ you were going to bet on England? My support’s going to England(mum), Sweden(dad) and Czech(grandparent). It's a family thing baby

I didn’t see your post leyla!!

“Waternymph- Wow, you must know or work with some American men. That description was astonishingly spot on. That's why I only date forginers. (Also my Venus is in Sagg.) My current b/f is Dutch.”

I got that discription from a friend, he lived in America for a little while.
Hey I’m dating a Dane always had a thing for foreigners, they have this charm that's addictive.

Do YOU have a “lightening rod”??

If I want to go and live in Brazil. I’d want to get advice from someone who’s lived there for a long period. Not someone who knows loads of Brazilians.
Logic says
if I want advice about English, then I'll go to a friend who’s got an English degree
if I want advice about a drug I’m taking, I’ll go to a pharmacist
if I want advice about men, I’ll go to a man i.e. one of my mates

Do you understand where I’m coming from?

I’m sorry you feel that way :/ anyway, who reads the lasts posts if there‘s an argument??? It’s like a ghost town back here. Most people know better and steer clear.

I get the feeling you don't really like other women.

Coming from someone who believes women should play games and ultimately ruin their chances of happiness - like Jennifer Anisten who played the “honey pot” game and lost.
I’m a proper feminist. I don’t hate men or women. Is this because I said
“Also something you seem to be forgetting, is the kind of guys your thinking of only go after “pretty young things” which would leave the majority of women on this planet out.”
?????
What do you want me to say lol that lightening rods go after every women cause they’re hot for them? Which we both know is not true. I’m getting the feeling this string is an ego boost for women who find themselves unattractive. So if they believe every man wants their honey pot , it’s an ego boost. And they act like they hate the way “men act“. I bet a lot of the girls who agreed with you had a BIG smile while reading that, and felt oober sexy and ran out and bought a bra (note: that is humour ). I just don’t get my boost that way.
quote:
Even Jennifer Aniston doesn't measure up to your snide remarks.

The woman has no lips???? What do you want? “omg she’s like omg SO hot, I would SO hit that omggggg”
There you go…be happy…drink a coconut

And I said this when? I don’t even post my pics…I’m not as vain as you may think. Of course those issue still exist, do they ever go away? My issues were due to my boobs and baby face. When I was 15 I looked like a pre-teen. I didn’t need to wear a bra, in fact I still don’t…but people will stare if I do that, especially women cause they’re still big enough to be noticed, so I don’t. anyway, I was never typically sexy…unless you consider the jail bait look sexy. Where did this come from?

I was not being rude, but since it came across that way, I’m sorry. My intention is not to cause pain, I just talk/type like that. I read Cardinalgal’s last post and thought wow, wish I was that articulate, instead of big and boisterous. So much for being a Piscean - think I’ll join the Virgo/Sag club.
