Booooo! I'm with you on the no sleep thing. It's been about four nights now that I've woken up several times through the night and had a hard time going back to sleep. I am exhausted.

Sorry you're sick and it's nasty out, AG. Those kind of days make me blah.

The snow had all melted in my yard and I could see what I had in the bits of landscaping I do have, but it's all covered again.

I just got off the phone with someone who called specifically to tell me how nice and great I am. That's weird, right? I've also been told twice this week how mellow I am, and [today] how much I deserve to have good things happen to me. Another friend, the Cap with Gemini Rising, has asked me several times if I've always been this calm.

These are strange comments to process.

EDIT:
Ok. I got clarification [covertly] on the phone call. It's a Taurus who thinks I'm being walked on (with the lottery pool at work), so she thinks I'm too nice.

Hello everyone in AG land, hope you are all well.

Lottery pool? How can you be too nice in a lottery pool? Are you giving away all your winnings, if so, where do I sign up?

She thought I was too nice in that I went out to get our tickets twice. She thought I should just cut off after I've gone once. The pot was $312,000,000, so I don't really mind widening our chances.

Started the day off getting a compliment on my new white [oxford style] shirt. Love it!

You are one of the most calm seeming people I *know*. Truly diplomatic and not prone to outbursts or any kind of lashing out that I've ever seen. Very level headed.

Or at least it appears that way in these here interwebs

Why thank you. How are you today?

I'm glad the cold I caught last week is breaking up. I got some good sleep over the weekend. I'm sure that helped.

I am well-ish. Haven't been sleeping well for a few weeks so I'm thinking about taking melatonin because I can't keep being this tired! My little one sleeps like a log and I envy her tiny self for just snoozing through anything!

Also, just got my first electricy bill for my house and I'm pretty sure it is not accurate. In Maine, in winter, they estimate the reading since there is too much snow for the techs to actually get to people's meters, and I think I may have gotten screwed because of this... At least I hope so! Even in high summer last year with the AC running for weeks, it never came CLOSE to the KWH that I supposedly used in the past 29 days. I'll be calling my first chance to find out. I will pay it if it's a one off, but I can't possibly afford this kind of bill monthly from now on!

We overpaid on our electric bill the whole first year my roommate owned the place. Then we got a $600 refund.

Something probably is amiss.

If you want a non-addictive sleeping pill, get Target's allergy relief. It has only diphenhydramine in it, and it's cheaper than sleeping pills with the exact same ingredient. A small dose a couple hours before bed will give you a good night's rest. You can research the drug as I did if you want to make sure it's ok.

Heh, you know me, I will research!

I'm in the market for a new washer and dryer. My plan is to go to the local place (where they are AWESOME price wise, customer service wise AND maintenance wise), find something I want, then research and check out consumer reports. I prefer to do it this way because I'm a visual/spacial person. I need to see something in real life rather than online to decide if I want it, THEN do all the checking to be sure the price and value are there.

I'm not getting a front loader, that much I know.

I cannot wait for cold and flu season to be over. Every other day it's something else, either little bean is sick or I am or her dad is etc...

Turns out the bill is accurate. The only thing that could remotely make sense is that the dryer being pretty non-functioning could have run the bill up, but nobody else that I've talked to can understand how it could be that high. I have to unplug everything in the house and see if the meter is still running, and then have an electrician come and find where the "hijack" is coming from if that's the case. It is an absurdly high amount of wattage for us, considering we were all living the same way in our 3 bedroom apartment before moving. It may be bigger, but the heat is oil and we had an electric water heater at the apartment as well, so it's just not adding up.

Excellent!

When I look at flowers now I think about your question about what's in bloom. There have been some lovely pink flowers blooming outside our place.

Green... green.. lookie ghani, it`s green there !!!!!

I love the pic. The red goes very well with your green background and of course, your eyes

If there are pink flowers hiding in that pic, I sure can`t see them . Hint hint

Some other strange, pink flower under my neighbor's window:

Again

Again

Little blue, ground cover flowers. They weren't looking too blue on my camera's screen, but the pictures came out alright.

WOW. I`m pea green.

I love the first pic, rhododendron is the pink flower shrub & the purpely blue groundcover is myrtle.

The last shrub I`m not sure but looks like an euonymus of some sort.. The pink throws me as it usually isn`t that vibrant but CA sunshine can make a big difference.

Thanks, a feast for hungry eyes!!

Lychee trunk. It's cool how there's a slight swirl to it.
