I'm quite proud of the fantastic job I'm doing of avoiding this place, but I do want to stay in touch, so I'll write here.  I've been strangely drawn into the world of stones lately. It's my latest fascination. It's unfortunate that it's so late in life as there were people on my dad's side of the family that were into stones and geology. Thus far I've only incorporated a snowflake obsidian into regular use. It's supposed to be a Capricornian stone. IP: Logged |

I love stones... I know I once posted a stone that I thought of as Capricornian and you. It was an agate. I have granite boulders big as a VW and a collection ( rock beds full of) beach or river rock, Petoskey (a resident stone only found in this specific area) mucho 300 billion yr old chain coral.)My list is endless ------------------

Oooh...bluemoon, huh? The Gemini one I hope.Yeah, I'm thinking about starting a rock collection. I've seen a couple 21 stone sets on Amazon. Might be fun just to pick up rocks I like as well, and get a little polisher. The date of the wedding is April 21st. She originally wanted an April wedding, but was kind of dissuaded by her mother saying that her dad would have a tax bill or something in April. June 30th was a consideration, but astrologically it was kind of a disaster. April will be better astrologically. It'll be a Satur(n)day. Sunday would be more Leonine, but we've both got pretty heavy Saturn contacts in our charts, so hopefully that'll be alright. IP: Logged |

I don't have a place to talk politics online now that I've restricted myself to this thread.I just have to say that I love the flury of fact checking articles in the wake of the Republican debates. I knew it was brief though, as I was starting up a new job. Frankly, I am too busy in real life to devote so much of myself online. I do check in on facebook because I do it through my phone.

I know what you mean about valuing things and our rituals, what is designated as an addiction, etc... (on the "hi" thread) Habits can be nice, and they are nice to check in to , catch up, think fondly of, etc. But life is for living. I am totally with you there. I've been looking into Feng Shui since the President of our company (bank) started hanging coin tassles from the door handles. I really like the Chinese dragon. While browsing pictures of water dragons, it occurred to me that this could be the origin of the sea goat:
