That's awesome. That's the thing about doing art. It seems like there won't be a market for it, because there's already so much art out there...even in stores where we could afford it.

Yeah, I have a room in my basement all set up to create, but I don't have the time to do it right now, and mostly, I don't even know what to make. My energy is zapped and so is my creativity by the time I WOULD have the time. LOL

I've offered most of my supplies to my friend because I know how pricey that stuff can be, and I KNOW she will use it. Passing on the good.

Excellent. I always write down my art ideas, because I'm the same way. I'll want to do art, but I won't know what to do.

Your friends made me feel a bit sheepish about my last post on your facebook. Is some drama going on?

A very close friend passed away after an extremely quick illness. It's all good. He was the most peaceful human I have ever met, and I am inspired by the new appreciation for his lifestyle to try and calm down a bit and just be a loving and peaceful person as well.. Not that I haven't been, but I really want to put effort into trying to help and heal wherever I can.

Leo. I saw that.

Gotta love those type of people. They really do inspire.

It's the first time I've ever lost anyone in this way that was close to me. My two grandfather's passed years ago, but had been very sick for a long time, so it was an "any day now" type of feeling with them.

Leo was diagnosed on a Tuesday, and passed on Saturday. It was too fast... I still can't really believe it.

I think he was not feeling well for a while, but didn't realize how serious it was. His son is about to start his residency, so he explained his symptoms to him and he flew home (he was in AZ). Next we knew, he was offically ill, going for tests, and waiting for oncology results. He got them on Tuesday. He died Saturday.

Liver. It as at stage 4 when they caught it. Inoperable. His last post was "starting chemo on Monday. I will beat this!" But his kidneys shut down and he never made it that far..

Really really shocking. He WAS a fighter. He could have moved mountains, that man. He was like my second dad, so it has been a pretty emotional time for me. I'm just trying to take all the emotions and turn them into something positive.

You know what I wonder now? If I make another transfer into my credit account this month it will also be over the minimum amount. Will it push the due date of the payment back yet another month (since I'm making at least the minimum payment due next month)?

Money makes the world go around.

Remember I asked what to save my $$ for , for me??

I spent it at the vets having a tumor removed from my Chessie retrievers eyelid. He`s ok tho and doing wonderful.

There`s always next year

I love this: http://www.austinkleon.com/2011/03/30/how-to-steal-like-an-artist-and-9-ot her-things-nobody-told-me/
It speaks to me in every way I need to be spoken to. I've made it a part of my home page tabs, because I need to re-read it often I think.

I got my movie ticket, and since there's an hour to wait I decided to go have lunch. I walked down this long, secluded (at the moment) pathway through the parking lot to the restaurant I chose (Applebee's; bad choice). I was so amused along the way. There's only little ground cover shrubs and young trees lining this pathway, but all along my way I heard action, I heard rustling around the ground cover. Must be lizards, I thought. The plants are too small to hide birds. Yet another sign of spring for you Juni.

Well, Applebee's was a bad choice in that even their low calorie plates incorporate bad dietary decisions, but I made the best of it with the Asiago steak meal. I told them all vegetables instead of the potatoes, and was told that they only had broccoli. Not my favorite, but whatever. I removed the asiago cheese from the steak when I got it, and the steak was perfectly delicious anyway. All in all it turned out pretty well. It's too bad my server keeps trying to upsell me. I imagine that servers aware of the different diets people use would do better as they'd be able to recognize what was happening with the order.

So walking back down the same pathway from Applebee's back to the theater not one but TWO lizards crossed the path in front of me. Suspicion confirmed!

I do always wonder what the lizards do through winter.

HANNA was good. It wasn't disappointing. It was pretty much what I expected from the ads. It wasn't super amazing stellar, but I enjoyed it a lot.

Just heard They Might Be Giants for the first time in a while. Made me happy.

EDIT: Florence & The Machine's Dog Days Are Over is playing right now, and this song always gets me pumped lately. Great energy.

Some facebook app just added me as a supposed stalker on a co-worker's facebook page whom I don't even like. This app posted four photos (not really photos, but graphic ads for the application) suggesting I was looking at her profile. I'm glad that I can untag myself from photos, but that was ridiculous. I couldn't be less interested in her profile. After I untagged myself from those I deleted her as a friend.

Giving into the song that's been playing in my head all night, Miike Snow's Animal. The melody just gets stuck in there. Would like to hear John Phillip Souza remix it as a march.

I just spent some time dancing in my bedroom. I don't know if I've done that since I was young. It was fun. Even donned a hat, and a suitcoat just to make myself more interesting for myself to watch in my mirrored closet doors.
