My mother and sister have sun/moon conj. as well. And my sister's oldest daugher and she share an ASC. I love finding all these neat connections with family astrologically. Then watching how they interact.

Her sun and asc are conjunct her fathers sun.

My sun is conjunct my fathers sun. My moon is conjunct my mothers sun (and my brothers). I've never really thought about that before!

Hey AG - I've been laid low with flu. Going away this weekend to England with my best friend and our daughters - should be a nice girly weekend.

Back to work yesterday - my boss, and my bosses boss, are being really nice to me, complimenting my work, asking my opinion, giving me things I asked for a year ago....suspicious? You betcha!

eski-

I find the sun/moon thing a LOT in maternal/paternal chart comparisons. It's pretty neato. My brother's moon is conj. my ASC also. About the only thing we have in common. LOL

I've never run my brothers chart - how bad is that?!

I don't know the birth times of my mum, dad, brother or ex-husband. Does that just render the ascendant worthless, or other things as well?

Wow! My Sagittarian ways are really showing. I guess I put my foot in my mouth with the Sun opposite Moon thing. It was one of the only things that stood out to me in that one Libra's chart. Maybe it was just her. You lot seem normal.

I've never really run my parent's charts. I'm afraid of asking for the info. They're too big of Christians I fear. I have nothing in Leo or Aries (my parent's sun signs).

Yeah, if there's no time of birth, then there's no Ascendant or houses.

AG, it depends if it is heavy with pics or graphics. Those I can`t load after about 23 pages. Plain posts about 40 .

It really stinks because we can`t get cable out here and broadband is nixed because of treetops. Other than that, no company carries coverage here. I love my birth place but it has limits

No DSL available through your regular phone line?

I assume that when you're talking about the broadband and the trees, you're talking about doing a satellite dish internet service.

So 23 pages would be the upper limit I guess, because eventually pictures get posted.

Juni,

I've been forgetting to tell you. I did remember about taking the autumn picture of the hummingbird tree, it's just that there aren't any particularly nice fall trees next to it, so it would look either normal or like winter. It seems like most of the trees with good fall colors are those that are intentionally landscaped around here.

And it lasted soooo long this year! It was great. I can't wait to be in my house. We have big trees in the front yard that turn RED. It will look so lovely next to the white house and black shutters.

You know what's fascinating about that? My Aquarian sister (born in 82) uses those colors in her bedroom: black, white, and red.

Make sure you have insurance. Nothing worse than big red trees falling through the roof.

Haha! In my homebuyers Ed class, the Insurance guy was talking about a woman that had a tree cut her house in half the week before (we had really strong winds/storms) and how her insurance (which is the same as mine) paid for everything, including a pet hotel for her dogs. It was going to take like, 8 months to repair. Only a $200 deductible. WOW!

I think I'll be painting the walls in my kitchen red. The granite is all gray and black, the cabinets white and the appliances are stainless. Think it will look moderish, but a bit kitchy which I like.

It should warm it up in there as well. Black, white, and silver can be a bit sterile.

They are lime green now, which I kind of like, but it's difficult to match.

Kinda in between. I want to say they are a deep honey color. The whole house is hardwood. Going to have to buy lots of rugs.

Hi there littlecloud.

What moods would you like to ellicit?

If you're looking for warm, I think you'd look on the yellow, red, and brown spectrum.

If you're looking for cool, I think you'd look at white, light blue.

If you're looking for cozy, think a bit darker like a deep brown, black, gray.

If you're looking for something really comfortable (this is my opinion) combine a rich green and brown. It's a touch masculine, but I think it puts people in an earthy sort of mindset. Maybe it's just my earthiness that responds to it that way.

The way I understand it, the trees are a prob for dsl as well as it can`t beam the tower.. Verizon is $99 a month anyhow, outrageous!

I posted a couple of pics of my side yard in the butterfly blog in LLC (bottom 1st page & top 2nd page) and you can see how treed in I am. It`s been selectively logged twice in 15 years so it isn`t as full as it was. I love trees and some of those maples are 150-200 years old.

Bummer about the hummingbird tree. I imagined how beautiful it would be in fall with surrounding fall colors. Like some Japanese maples , sumac or oaks.

Anyhow I am happy to have seen it!
