^ Yesss!

Any more food pics?? I want to see some more!

Just got back from a very long dinner for my uncle's birthday and man I'm stuffed! There was like 4 different meals for starters, 4 for the main course and 4 for dessert. Of course I had to try them all (aside from the ham one).

No more sweets for me tomorrow. Now gotta stick to that.

Rie it's so nice to see you again!

I have more to say, but this thread reminds me of how HUNGRY I am! We call those eggs in your first pic "deviled eggs"... same name over there? I really, reallllly love them.

Sun and moon are in Taurus, so why am I just eating rabbit food? Gotta go find something rich and fatty to gnaw on.

Talk to you soon!

Not anymore. Our spring weather is usually cold, but we get some warm days. Like, five days where you need a light jacket to be comfortable, then two short-sleeved t-shirt days, then back to the jacket.

Yes! I'm glad you're taking good care of yourself!

I wasn't sure what I thought about therapy in general (I guess it always depends on the person you're working with) but one of my good friends happens to be a therapist. We go out for lunch and I feel healed for days afterwards. She is perfectly accepting, that's the magic. I can't say anything to repulse her, it's just non-stop understanding. She says I'm a good listener too.

Imagine if everyone could be a sympathetic listener like that...so many problems would be helped.

I guess that's all for now, please stay in touch and keep yourself in the best place you can be, mentally. I'll try and do the same! I am leaving you with one of my favorite songs, it makes a good anthem for the transiting Grand Cross:

*sigh*

So... ever since we became Facebook buddies, a certain Bull has been on my mind way too much again. It helps to just keep doing my own things, though.

It's bizarre... a couple of days ago, I was thinking to myself, "I wish he'd just show a sign of life, I don't even need to be in touch, just want to know he's okay."
The next day, bam, he added me on Facebook from out of nowhere.

Spooky stuff again. Problem seemed to have solved itself again. Bleh... all of this tip-toeing back and forth is giving me all mixed feelings. I can see it go on for another month or three. :|

Totally offtopic, I know. Sorry.

After saying Hi to you in the appreciation thread, I checked up here and voila! A post!

No worries about being off topic~ good luck with him. I know how nerve-wracking it can be sometimes, wondering where people are.

Haha, yes, and another one!

You forgot me in that thread list, though.

Ahh don't worry. Yeah, it is hard to wait around for someone. But we're okay now I think, he's been replying to a lot of the things I post there. When I moved on and just focused on my own things, bam, he came back, took initiative and everything.

Ha... Venus-Uranus can turn out okay for a change.

Thanks!!

Exam to get ready for now. I'm a bit nervous for some stuff as usual. Wish me luck!!

What?! You're so special I thanked you separately. Hope you saw?

I guess those kinds of threads are always clumsy, bound to leave people with good feelings ("people KNOW me!" ) and bad feelings ("why did they forget me?")

Venus-Uranus...yes, I can see how it would be good sometimes...affection coming at you out of nowhere? Good luck, keep me posted

Hey everyone

Sorry I haven't been in this thread for a while. I sometimes randomly post in sweat peas and in astro but yah other than that I haven't been really active. Some stuff came up and take up most of my time.

Speaking of that, I recently realize that in such situations, I have a tendency to forget everyone and everything else. My s.o has commented on this trait more than once.

Seriously, the road to maturity is dark and full of terror.

Anyway, I hope that you two are doing well. Rie sweet heart I'm sorry for neglecting you. And Faith I want to say sorry too.

Doux I hope your health has been getting better.

Here is a food pic for everyone

Here is our newest family member. A cranky, demanding tsundere. Never comes when we call. If we don't pet him when he demands he'll scratch us. Pretty sure he has all of his planets conjunct in the sign of A-hole lol.

I mean, if you edit that soon, it's impossible to get a reply. Who was it for? (I have an idea, but still)

@Muddy: Aww. That cat's gorgeous. The eyes, though... Pluto on the Ascendant?

It's fine meisseiri.
I'm sorry for it, many other things (that didn't involve you but I'm not apologizing to the forum, screw that), and things that needn't be mentioned much. I'm just sorry.

You know, I've only ACTUALLY been upset maybe a handful of times here. Like when I get into it with Randall? Pfft he doesn't bother me. Most do not. He was just an example.
These days I just get upset because I (we) get blamed for everything. Well, it takes others also in order to have a "fight". Or else it'd just be us two talking among ourselves about others, is always with others, so why are we scorned for it? Sometimes we don't start it, but we take that hit too. It's incredibly frustrating.
Though we share blame, that I'm not denying. I just don't know why we're getting nailed with all of it constantly. We don't ignore, it's not in our nature... Mine for sure.
The other point, if we're so abrasive and argumentative then why don't her and I fight? Cause we don't.
LL changes me a lot. Due to some of the nature here it puts me on high alert, fight or flight and I'm tired of fighting. I'm truly exhausted of it, yet it's not in my nature to just let things slide.

Anyway.... I'm sorry to hijack your thread. I know it's a nice refuge and personal space for you. I regret posting anything that even left a clue that I was here.
I really apologize for this and I guess I'm replying now because I know that it might bug you for just an edit sitting there. I don't care about posting anything like I said. In fact I don't even remember fully what I said anyway.
I hope THIS post is not viewed as attention seeking. I felt that I owed it to you. Well parts, you know I'm a chatty one. I don't care... It's to you.
I could sit and talk forever but I'll let you just get back to your things. I may (or may not) come back to check for a reply but either way I hope you can all get back to what you were doing regardless.
I plan on doing my best to stay away from this place. Three times of dealing with crap like this is enough.
This place brings out the worst in me.

Take care and I wish you the best, truly.

Hello ladies...I feel a bit of an intruder - not knowing you all very much - but I read a little of your thread (mostly the last few pages) and without wanting to barge in

A NOTE FOR DOUX

In New Zealand Manuka honey is used to treat H Pylori if that is at the root of your issues, then maybe you are lucky you can't take antibiots, the very heavy cocktail they bomb H PYlori with has some scary possible aftereffects.

But Manuka honey, a teaspoon twenty minutes before meals has apparently been very successful at altering the atmosphere of the stomach and routing the little buggers out.

You should be able to find more info online ie how long, dose, possible practitioners who know more than I do!!! It is not cheap esp if you use it for pleasure ((who would do a thing like that) but it is cheaper than most meds and good for you in other ways, as honey tends to be...

Just wanted to put that out here in case it is any help.

Taking a break from the board at least for awhile and I know I haven't interacted with too many of you, but all the best to you all.

Yawn, being given benefit of the doubt by you is like being randomly given something that has no value, by a person with an imaginary crown.

-----

Rie, I gotta say you made me grin from ear to ear. Waaaaaaaaaaaa I wanna live close to you so I could ask to be petted every now and then. Please remind me again sweet heart we do have sun/moon trines n sun/moon conjunction do we not ? Er we may even have moon/moon square but well with you cap moon I can learn a lot from you.

And yes he has the pluto gaze. Lol when have I seen a cat that has such powerful eyes. Damn.

Random: Have you noticed that cats' ears are extremely soft? Like so so so soft. I love stroking cats' ears.

Catalina Please feel free to come in any time you like. I haven't talked to you but I sometimes used to follow your posts.

I'll have to try that, too.

This week, I've had some success with adding gelatin and/or miso to broth or soup, and taking L-glutamine in a bottle of water (powder) as soon as I get up. I still have to be careful, but it's helping.

Coconut oil is also supposed to be good for h. pylori.

Wow ehh that's a lot of people walking into my thread - surprised. Especially while I'm actually online and not asleep. I'll try to reply later... appointment & just got back from massage which loosened up a lot of fatigue. Bleh, trying not to fall asleep here. Still have somewhere to be.

But feel free to post here... it really is my safe place. Like coming home where you can take off your shoes, plop down on the couch with your favourite drink.

Shame about the conflict though. I want to say something about that too later. Don't edit!!

Do you guys have anything else...?

DF, You attract conflict, because on some level you seek it out. Seek out peaceful interaction, and you will only attract that. I have to force myself into conflicts, because I oversee the entirety of the whole board. Compare and contrast yourself to someone like Violets, for example, and you will see; it's clear.

Randall, that's exactly what I thought. Thanks for putting it in a way that I couldn't really get down here - like it was on my tongue, but the words to use just seemed to get stuck.

Before I'll elaborate, I just want to emphasize that Randall didn't intend that as personal criticism and especially not to single you out. I've actually seem it happen with other members, so you're not the only one. Eh, Cappy moons unite.

I think that some of it has to do with how quickly you and Barbie defend each other. How? Well, of course the intent is good. It's just not always the right time for it. Someone on the other end, well, to them it can come across as challenging. They get both on their backs while they only wanted to talk to one. It can sometimes create this vibe... like it's not equal? Two against one. So I'm a bit afraid that your loyalty is turning against you here. I think some members have said this as well?
Whereas if you just talk one-on-one, it creates more of a feeling of equality, which makes it easier for the other party not to feel attacked and take it personally.

For the other problem I refer to my thread of a couple of days ago. The "Something I've noticed in this board here" one that was locked.
It explained a lot of what happened here. When you react instinctively and on your emotions, it will come out raw. And especially on a message board, where we don't see each other, it's easy for an outsider to think, "Ugh, what's the problem? *eyeroll*" And if someone feels like it's no big deal, they'll see people who get upset over as "overreacting" (putting that between quotes as I personally don't think it's fair to judge on that).
Naturally, it's good to have your own opinions and be willing to fight for them and back them up strongly. It's just... you guys overdo it.
And that's why you get so many "ugh, calm down" comments and people calling you emotional. Sometimes the words you use can make all the difference in how someone will perceive you.

Actually, I'm glad you brought it up here - I don't want to put this in an open Sweet Peas thread. It feels too... abrasive to me. Like I'm calling people out in front of everyone, and I hate doing that to others. I guess I'm on the complete opposite end being way too passive. Funny how opposites run into each other all the time, right?

And I do apologize for the snippiness yesterday. I had had it and sometimes I still slip back into old habits too. I used to be a lot more argumentative on other boards, about 8 years ago. Was a lot more like you two, Ami or Aquaguy just acting on impulses and, "Oh hell no you don't, gotta tell them off right now". Scared the cr-p out of myself and shut down again, something I had been doing for years due to endless verbal abuse and bullying.

This has gotten really long and I'm sorry it looks so much like word vomit dumped all over you. I just don't know how to say it in any other words - it feels too harsh for my liking.

Astro-wise, I can lay it out too in another post.

Another thing...
New post, the length of the other one is annoying me.

Yes, I do agree you guys get a lot of flack and into more arguments than others. Some of the comments in especially astro threads were from out of nowhere and stirred up a lot. That does suck and it ruins a lot of the atmosphere and just your enjoyment of being here. You're not imagining things.

I just think that maybe you could give another approach a try. Like... I won't say you have to, but try it out sometime.
Meditation may work really well to get some inner peace, which makes it in turn so much easier to just let things pass, even if someone is taking a shot. And just waiting for a bit before posting. I may not look like it, but I do that actually. Type it out, but leave it alone for a couple of hours. Then take another look and I ask myself, "Do I still want to post this? Is it worth getting into a fight for?"
Puts things in a different perspective. I need that badly with my sensitivity and a lack of air to take a step back mentally. So I just do it physically.

Randall/Rie (if I may call you that)

I haven't taken anything here harsh and I'm happy, very happy in fact to talk about it. The way it's being discussed here is more up my alley.

I'll have to get back to everything later though when I have time. It may be long, so I hope you don't mind. I didn't think your post was too long or verbal dumping. I'm a gem moon! (though gem sun's talk too much for me personally, lol)

The only other thing I'll say for now is that I understand. The way you put it makes sense. But I'll go into more detail later about my thoughts.
