Rie, yeah having nicer members of the family is great lol. I love eating out too and I tried to book a place for a pre-Christmas dinner but unfortunately my favourite places were all full. Yeah,
his majesty and I both have Taurus IC. For now we love spending our free time together – sometimes just sitting next to each other, quietly making things...

Yeah I agree with Faith’s comment about not telling people. It takes time and is too complicated, I can’t exactly retell the whole long story. And people who experience life differently probably will find it hard to understand. Explaining and stuff... meh that takes too much effort.

Speaking of experiencing life differently, it’s a bit like that with my husband and I. He has a fondness of going back to our country to visit, while I don’t really like it. He experienced a different facet of the culture, and for the most part he loves it. I don’t exactly hate the culture, but I am more aware of the darker, more sinister side of it. Well that’s not entirely true, he has experienced the “bad” too... I guess he’s just more zen-like about the whole thing and unlike me, he doesn’t harbour hard feelings.

--

LOL I love your story about your grandma, she sounds like a really cool person. I have a soft spot for people who smoke lol I know, that sounds a bit strange, but to me, old people + smoking = the image of a world-weary kind of person, who is wise and has seen a lot of things....

Sounds like you did have a great Christmas, I’m happy to hear that. Ooh pasta and cheese, I know... Cheese is like the best stuff ever, next to beef of course. Speaking of pictures, I’ve noticed that there is a trend of taking food pics with Iphone, lol some people are very extreme about it.

What’s your New year resolutions, Faith and Rie? And how’s your health n the new year Rie? Everything is still going swimmingly ?

Aw your dog’s name is Blossom??? That is so cute, such a cute name for a dog haha it’s funny coz I remember you once said that she’s a bit cranky

Some snow pics for you guys, I've managed to snap a few shots

^ Gorgeous pictures, 12 muddy!!! You're inspiring me. I got a new camera for my birthday and haven't even read the manual yet. Because I hate reading manuals. But I really want to use my camera correctly, so this is something I have to suffer through.

And you crack me up. I agree about the wise, world-weary chain smoker...my Pisces best friend is the same way, only she's 36! Not a grandma yet, but her son is 18, so it's possible.

Beer + cheese

Rie, hope Blossom is okay!

And thanks for telling us about your grandmother, she does sound great and like someone to be proud of! Though I'm sorry you have to make that sacrifice to go see her. I guess wearing an oxygen mask would be considered rude. Hmmm.

As for this:

quote:
I guess for us Caps (or my moon), it's just not that easy. What if you fall apart because of those feelings, you know?

Soooo true. I was just thinking last night that people have got Capricorn all wrong, and really they have no excuse. They ought to know that we're not heartless. They ought to know that we would NOT bust our butts for other people, and quietly sacrifice a lot just to make relationships run smoothly, and stick around as friends for ages and ages, if we didn't have such deep emotions. We're like Cancers, only expressing it differently.

*hopping down from my soap box*

Hope this post finds you both warm and snuggly and happy!

See you around! <3

Hello ladies, just checking in.

Exams piling up. Please give me some more time to catch up.

But wow @those pictures! Could you teach me how to take pics like that?!

Faith, yes, they do. No, go ahead and stay on that soapbox! I totally agree you don't put in that kind of effort for someone you don't give a cr*p about. We want to create an environment our loved ones can safely come home to. We want to be sure they have everything they need and won't have to worry about bills, illness and such after coming home from a long day of work. We want them to have their evening off to relax. We'll make sure they're comfortable. We take the pressure of insecurity off them. We carry responsibility when we really didn't have to.

There's just so much love and dedication from evolved Capricorns. It just sucks that a few bad eggs who run over everyone's feelings being power hungry ruin it for everyone else.

And yes we are like Cancers. They, too, hide in their shell because of insecurity. They just happen to cling at times as well, while Caps will suffer quietly.

Ugh. So many of those Cap descriptions suck. Can we have some Cappies make the astrology descriptions for this sign??

There's a reason it took me soooo long to grow into my Moon and start relating to it. I relate mostly to the Neptune conjunction - before I drew my chart for the very first time, I was 100% positive it'd be in Pisces or maybe Cancer.
Then I saw Cap. I redrew the chart. And again. And again. I thought I'd done it wrong, it just couldn't be in that sign! When I read some descriptions online, I cried. Yes, I really cried and actually sobbed, "That's so not me!" at the screen. (Given, I, too, had the same prejudices about Capricorn from reading Sun signs. I'm really sorry! )

Or maybe it's 'cause we're women?

Thanks for the concern about my dog. *hugs both* You're so sweet.

Have a fantastic weekend & enjoy!!

Good luck on your exams Rie. On another note, it seems to me that you have a lot of exams. I remember that a few months ago you already had some exams hahah.

Oh about the photos, I just take a lot of photos from many different angles and choose the best ones

Faith, now that’s something I can really relate to, I hate reading manuals. I often just jump right in, and start doing things. Later when I’m totally frustrated and defeated, I’ll read the manuals, grumpily.

Hehe have fun with your camera. Having a nice camera to take random pictures is good, I love taking weird pics of people when they are unaware, the pics often come out hilarious haha.

About cap descriptions, some parts seem to be derived from cap being a winter sign. Hmm I’ve read something about Northern hemisphere and southern hemisphere although I’m not sure if those articles are true.

Anyway I dislike some stuff I read about caps too, but yah they’re there for a reason.

As long as the ones I care about are ok with me, that’s kinda enough lol.

Have a nice weekend girls <3

Hey, I have to take a break from this thread for a while. It's just been hard concentrating here. I'll float back in sometime if it's okay.

But yes I had one in December as well. Two educations that both have exams. Too much studying, lol.

Those Cap descriptions, yeah. I just really hope nobody takes them too literally.

Guess I'm back quickly. I may need a break again.

I don't know if you've read my post on LL2.0, but here it is.

My dog's gone. We had her put down earlier this evening. I'm so tired from crying over her, it's just too much.

It was better this way for her. It just doesn't feel like that right now.

Huh????? NO WAY!!!!

I haven't been spending as much time as LL as usual, so I've gotten behind here, but I'm sure I speak for both of us when I say that you cannot possibly ask for too much from us. It's not your way to impose whatsoever!

And we really feel so bad about your dog!!!

Odd thing is, I've been feeling insecure lately, too...and have used that word for the first time in ages, just yesterday in an email to a friend.

Maybe all these transits hitting my sun and your moon. Blech.

It'll get better!! Has to!!!

Muddy, thanks I try. <3 Haven't craved food that much lately, though.

Faith, oh, I'm sorry but I laughed at the "No way!!". It was so spontaneous and unexpected. But yes, you're getting some blows by Pluto, right? Isn't it like 3 degrees away at this point?

And thank you so much for saying that. You're right, that insecurity. Ugh. Let's say I've heard a little too much about how much I ask of others. I easily feel like a burden, even if I'm not.

Yeah, my girl. *sniffles* It came right after my dad had surgery, plus I've been depressed for a while. I slept through the whole weekend. Tomorrow she may be cremated. There's some stuff that still have to be arranged.

Thanks again you both <333

<3 I hope you will feel better soon Rie. Wish your dad a speedy recovery.

I understand, it seems like you and I are two of those who lose appetite when sad. You may want to try soup, when I don't feel like eating I just eat chicken soup n some fruits. It's simple and doesn't require much chewing or preparation. Keep your strength up. I'm sorry that you have to go through rough time <hug>

Your girl will rest in peace.

Dad recovered very quickly, he was surprised himself! He even made it to the vet's, so he was there when Blossom was put down.

Oh, yes, so we do. Depression's just tough. I had a pretty bad blow in my personal life, too, two days ago, so I'm again trying to get out of this pit. Slipped back in after that.

Fruit and soup? That does help a lot! Something light, but enough to keep yourself going. Yeah, good tip. It's cool you can find ways to keep taking care of yourself. That's so important.

*hug* thank you, you're lovely.

Aaand of course so is Faith!!! Hah, didn't think I'd leave you out, right? *hugs*

Haha I agree on the manual thing. I always overlook something anyway.

Nah, only if she actually sees it. ^^ LMAO did I mention I love Cappy's dry humour?

lol you guys should see her. Plenty of smoke to smoke along with for you! She is pretty wise, though, and has a lot of life experience. It's very nice talking to her.

Talk to you later!

Hi Faith <3 Hope you and your family are doing well.

Rie, I'm sorry to hear that Rough time indeed.... Please talk to us if you want to let it out. We'll always listen.

I made a new email account - if you want to talk to me about things that you'd rather not post on a public board. I've lost password to the google one. Sorry that I lost the emails that you sent me. I've been terribly neglectful.

It seems that the harsh transits have been causing all sorts of troubles - giving your cap moon a tight hug > <

Hehe I wouldn't want to be sad and hungry-cold-sleep deprived

Take care Rie <3 Sending you love.

*hug* Thanks, Muddy.

You can edit it out now (yes, I'm quick!)

But yes, we're doing okay. Well, not so much for me, but you know.

Ahh, shame you lost them. No, please, it's okay. It's just too bad they're gone and you had to make a new account! Glad you let me know (though you already did before). What you said there made a lot of sense and I too thought so.
You can edit it out now! ^^

*hugs*
Yup, transits really suck. You're getting them squared to your moon, aren't you? Isn't Pluto coming really close? Then all of that going through your 12th... maybe your email address dying was part of that. Some of it went over your Mercury, right? And your Uranus.

Haha. No, that's a little too much even for us Cap-heavies

<3 Right back at you. How are you handling the transits?

<3 Hug. We’ll be here for you.

Talk about whatever you want <3

Yeah a lot of people were talking about those transits – accidents, emotional turmoils and whatnot. At first I didn’t pay a lot of attention coz my emotional state has been pretty stable. But oh, the people who are close to me... A car accident happened to my cousin n a friend, gah the front of the car was pretty much smashed but they were unscathed (sheer luck), only got a few bruises from the airbags, but yeah that was crazy n it made me worried sick for a few days.

Fights between friends, co-workers n stuff. Everyone seemed to have more “energy” than usual, more short-fused than usual.

Yeah, my sag mercury...... The mutable-ness is making me feeling... skittish.... Like there is a sense of urgency, like I’ve forgotten to do something.... Hubby dearest has been feeling similar.

*hug* Aww, you're a real sweetheart. You know what? You'll get another hug!! *hugs*

Taurus loves the physical, hehe~

Sure, I will. There's one or two things I have to keep to myself, but that's got nothing to do with either of you. I just want to deal on my own for now.

OH MY GOD. You, too? Right? It's like everyone's getting hit from all angles. Even deaths of a loved one for some of them (;__; really sad for them). So glad you're still stable, but of course I'm sorry for your cousin. Wow, that must have been so scary, even if they - thank God - didn't get too injured. How are they coping right now? Oh, I totally get that, the worries!

Yeah, there's been quite some energy around... like it's in the air. My mother just said to me I've become more of a go-getter despite my depression. That felt so good hearing that!

Ohhh that sounds so nervous. Is there anything about to happen? Wishing you and your hubby tons of support and luck getting through that. Keep it up, girl!!

<333

Oh, can I ask Doux if she wants to join here? I think she would like to talk to us and it's always nice to chat with some girlfriends, right?

loving all the hugs lol I'm quite touchy feely.

Thank you, my cousin n friend are doing well. It's not easy to off Scorpios lol

I think the reason why I've been feeling ok is because I've found a new obsession: chainmaille. So honestly I haven't been paying a lot of attention to other things.

WOO receiving a comment like that from an Aries ? Now that's something big =D It's like when a cap tells you that you're a workaholic. Er maybe not... j/k. I'm happy to hear know that too Rie <3

Yeah I think that nervous feelings are from the plan of moving back to my home country. there's a lot to think about.

I get the feeling of wanting/needing to deal with things on your own. Good luck sweet, we'll cheer you on

Oh yes definitely, the more the merrier Doux is a sweetheart.
