@Faith: Sure, I'm excited to read your reply already.

I know that was for Muddy, but wow! How did you find that? Nice shapes!

@Muddy: I'll get back to you properly when I'm back. On holiday right now, so my activity here is very low.

This was actually my first post on LL here from the spa. Couldn't stay away from you two.

Thank you Faith I love the leaf, lol I'm obsessed with anything heart-shaped and cute. Meh I sound like a teenage girl.

Lol I have you and Rie to thank. I had never given much thought about synaesthesia until I talked with you two. Hehe I've been reading about it. It feels nice to understand a bit more about myself

Rie it sounds like you're having loads of fun <3 Vacations, spas...oh sooo decadent. Be sure to book an appointment to pamper your hair too

Aww, that thing does look cute, that doesn't make you sound young!

Yes, I am. I loved it there!! And yes, I've gotten my hair cut. It looked like a mane at first. Now it's fallen into a more smooth mould after washing it.

Good point. When you grow up with something, it's hard to really tell what it is. It just feels so natural to you while it wouldn't to an outsider. Good for you for understanding yourself better! Keep up the research <3

Have any of you ever been to any spas? I bet your Mars in Taurus would like them, Muddy. The only thing is they're so expensive. :|

But gotta change now, birthday dinner. It still feels bizarre, I don't really feel 24.

Happy birthday sweetie <3 I bet you had a wonderful birthday dinner <3

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWmWWEAZWFc

In Chinese astrology, a person experiences the 2sc "return" of their sign when they're 24. They also believe that by the time you were born, you'd be one year old. So yeah, last year you were 23, which means that you were 24 by their standard.

Anyway, when a person experiences the return of their sign, there would be some sort of challenges or adversities, some kinds of major changes or sudden events. Now that you've "survived" that return, chances are that this year will be much much better <3

Yes I love spas, mmm they're fantastic. Yeah they are expensive so I don't go often. But I've created a mini spa at home with candles, flowers, perfume, facial n body masks n all sorts of girly stuff to pamper myself

Haha sounds like you're having a great time <3 I'm happy to hear that. You have great mane, how about growing it long so other people will get to see more of its glory

Yeah I understand what you mean, we wanted to grow up fast when we were little and time seemed to move so slowly. But after we hit our 20s, time starts to creep up on us without us even noticing. I've never felt 23, I mean I still feel as if I were 16 or 17.

The other day I had a conversation with my friend and she said a few things that made me think "My god old people are cranky". And I suddenly remembered that we are of the same age. Kaka. Like, "Honey what are you thinking, you're just as old as her".

<cry>

Oh no! I'm so sorry, I was out all day yesterday and forgot it was Rie's birthday!

Well I hope you liked your birthday dinner! And don't worry, 24 is still very young. In the US, we call that a "spring chicken."

For you ......

Aww, it's okay. I love late birthday wishes and gifts too.

Muddy, I could totally go for an easier year. Last year was one hell of a rough ride, guess that fits with your Chinese astrology. You know what? Today I just decided I'm going to ask my uni teacher if I can redo my year. There's some new stuff coming up that's going to take up a lot of my energy and 2nd year is not going to be any easier. It's some tough material as it is. Maybe a break will do me good.

Haha, I had to laugh so hard at that video. Wonderfully crazy and funny. Thanks <3

I bet your room is like in those spa leaflets! It'll look and smell good. Candles and masks, that'll set the atmosphere. Yess, the money... guess I won't be going for the rest of the year. What kind of treatment's your favourite?

It'll grow long over time again, yes. If it doesn't get too thin again.

LOL at least you remembered later. 23 isn't that old. I bet your moon and Cappy are keeping you youthful until your 80's. Time does creep up on you... I feel more and more pressure (mostly from me) to act my age and it was one of the things that made it so hard to accept I am clingy, not as mature as I'd like to be and having needs like a kid.

Spring chicken, hmm? Sounds like a fun new breed! That balloon is so cute, thanks!

Yes, dinner was DELICIOUS! Japanese food, hmmm. Sushi, Black Pepper Teriyaki, greens roll and a cocktail. Now that I quit some pretty bad meds, I can drink again! Not that I'm a big boozer or anything, I stick to just one or two, I can't really handle my liquor.

Talk to you both later! This should be prescribed as depression treatment, hehe.

Muddy, by the way, I sent you an e-mail about a week ago I think. Hope you're not getting snowed under by everything else already.

Take your time, Faith! I'm glad you're still planning on getting back to us.

So it's okay that I'm taking long, too? If anyone's still interested, I'm going to write something soon! Real life is hectic as always, definitely been making some tough decisions on what I'm going to do with my education and just life in general. It's that time haha.

Yeah, it totally does. But we're all managing I hope. I'm not that good right now, how about you?

Today I got some really bad news about my education If I don't pass the exams I'd have to redo, I'll have to leave the school as they're not starting up a new first year. ;__; I'm going to ask my teacher what kind of options he knows of if I don't make it. There's very little out there.

Anyway, yes, I know you have and I got it! I'm still writing out a reply... it's been harder than I thought. Really sorry for that, but it's coming some time! I've been failing to reply to like everyone here, so much happening right now. It's pathetic how slow I am!! I'm going to have to apologize to Doux too for disappearing from out of nowhere mid-convo. Ugh. I do not like having this reputation.

Anyway, done rambling. Coming back soon.

^ Oh no! I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier. How is everything with your education, Rie? Any changes?

Well I'm sorry for taking forever to get back to you two! Honestly I got a bit lost trying to track who said what when. So this is my effort to pick up as many pieces as I can follow, and...I hope I hope...making it interesting (??) We'll see!

I'm fascinated by Snakes. Actually, you know what? I think about half my friends in real life are Snakes. I'm proud of that, I feel I must be doing something right to retain such perceptive people.

My husband is the same way. DESPISES snakes. I barely give them a second thought. If I'm out in the field and I see one, my eyebrows don't lift up, I might stare, admire, and walk on. Garter snakes are cute to me. Except if they are in my house: once there was a garter snake in our living room, and it was a complete mystery how it got there. I thought it was like a sign from God or bad omen or something. (Then again, so many crummy things happen in an average life, who needs omens? Something bad will happen sooner or later...Sorry if I sound pessimistic!)

Well I'm a Rabbit so...

It's funny, I get shocked when I find out people are different from me. It's almost like my brain has faulty wiring, and I forget that people are different. I can't believe you don't eat salads every day like I do, that's such a shock to me.

My best friend talks about eating fruit salad like it's this rare and dramatic experience. Meanwhile, I practically live on fruit salad. So when she describes all her problems with it, how the strawberries tickle her throat and makes her sick or whatever, it takes a while for me to believe she's serious. LOL I have to remember: not everyone eats like me.

And what's new with you, 12muddy? I haven't seen you posting around much...but I imagine you being super busy with your job.

^ I agree. I also think it's a matter of loyalty and taking relationships seriously. The Leo guys I dated (and the one I married) always kept their word. That was gold to me, in my upside-down and hectic college years...I needed stability more than emotional closeness. I loved reading that, it made me feel so much better! I've had a short fuse with my children these past few days. I can't figure out what the solution is. Hehe no we don't mind. I don't think it's something that can stop a person from enjoying talking to another.

In real life I have more friends who are in my age group, slightly older (like 4-5 years), or younger. And I get along well with super ancient people, like 70-90 year old. I was slightly surprised to know that your pluto is in libra coz I find you so easy to talk to. I've liked your posts even before we got to talk. In real life I always find myself at odds with people from that pluto generation. Well except for my cousin, who's turning be 33 this year. Our love for each other is too great and even pluto can't come between us lol.

Kaka mercury retro strikes. At first when I read your post I thought you wrote "I've failing to reply like everyone here. It's pathetic" . laughed so much and I was like hell yeah that's right, that's the way to go. Go go Rie.

After I read your post again n realized that I've misread it I was like ... Oh.. It's ok

Try to beat your exams on the head first. I hope that everything goes well. You know, try your best and if things don't turn out like you hope then well I'm sure you'll pick things up again. Rough time for you, health and education and other stuff. Hang in there sweet.

LOL! I don't remember you saying that (forgive ME please) but anyway, I am cranky so you can notice if you want.

I can feel that difference between Pluto generations, too. After learning to recognize the vibe, it's pretty obvious. I have several friends born in the 60's...Virgo Pluto is nice and smooth. Libra Pluto seems to withhold a lot "for the sake of harmony" which I have found exasperating in Libra sun people but totally relate to, from a Libra Pluto angle.

I haven't talked with Scorpio Pluto much except on this forum...you people are SMART, that's the word coming to mind. It's like you have a piercing understand of things. I love and envy it.

And nooooo even Pluto cannot separate a true love like ours!

Talking about romantic factors, I know that I’m getting off topic here, but this is a sore point for me so I had to pour it out lol. I adore adore ADORE the cheesy romantic love scenarios and cheesy romantic little things -> read too many fairy tales books. Since I was a little girl, my favourite pass-time is to day-dream about cheesy fantasies of shiny heroes in sparkly armours. Lol unfortunately reality is a hard mistress.

Talking about leos, it seems that to them loyalty is also a matter of personal pride. I guess I can somewhat understand why they’re fixed fire after all. The ones I know take promises and “doing the right thing” seriously. I’m not above using under-handed tactics and am a bit of a rat. So in my eyes they are very “knightly”.

Books are wondrous things. They explain my condition better than I can lol. Actually I don’t hear or taste the foods the person eats. To me, each person’s voice has a distinct “taste” that doesn’t change. It’s like their “signatures”.

Yeah some people don’t believe that voice is affected by diet. Just like they don’t believe that body odour is also affected by diet. In Oriental/chinese herbal medicine, it is said that ground powder of flowers helps to make the smell of body odour more pleasant. Jasmine powder is said to be very potent.

It sounds fun build an addition? What do you guys want to build? Playground, extra rooms, pools, hanging gardens???? Ooh that definitely sounds like fun. I used to be obsessed with making little models of houses and stuff.

Hehe it’s hard, especially the ones who are close to us. Heh. They get me every time. I’m a little afraid of seeing tears. When I see tears I often melt into mud. I know, I’m an easy prey lol

Oh no I’m not. I like some of the Buddhism philosophies but I dislike the idea of being reincarnated. After I die I want to remain as an entity, an “existence”, and wait until I forget the concept of time, forget where I came from and what I was. And I want my husband with me.

He thinks I’m nuts coz he’s a Buddisht, but he’s changing his mind. I’m sure that I can pull him over to “my side” lol he belongs to me.

What you explained about virgo and religion rings true to me. I have a bit of a crisis in regard to existence, religions, meaning of life and the universe lol. My father is Christian, his family is Christian, and they make the religion sound bad btw. My mother and her side of the family are all Buddhists. Anyway there is this huge conflict between them. I was brought up as a Christian but I refused to practice it, every time they sent me to the Church I’d sneak out. Personally I believe that there is some kind of “higher beings” but I don’t believe that they are concerned over us and they don’t interfere with our lives that much. I believe that a lot of things just happen randomly. I feel that the universe is a huge chaotic place with no rules or orders and people try to put it in order and try to find answers and to “make sense” of our existence.

Meh, my husband is a lot more logical than I so he can explain why I have such “folly”. But he agrees that the idea of having our minds filled with only thoughts of each other and our existence revolves around each other sounds terribly attractive

I admire your husband and you, the fact that you’re still together and able to cope with those changes is proof that your relationship is very strong. What you said is true. To love a person is to accept their progress. A person will be very different in 5, 10, 15... years. So yeah. It’s quite amazing to see couples who manage to stay together.

Lol lol lol at the “finds secret little outlets like LL for expressing oddities” haha.

Oh actually no, I became detached way earlier. Rie mentioned it once, I had Aquarius on the cusp of my 2sc house, she said that I protect my self-esteem and I deal with my past by detaching. And it’s very true. Having a selective memory is convenient lol. My childhood home was like a training camp, like a vaccine. Now I’m immune to a lot of stuff. Most of the time, I’ll just go “Yeahhh.....” and the next minute I’ll forget.

At the end of the day, they’re irrelevant and coz I plan to exist until the end of time (lol) they just suddenly seem even more meager. That’s not to say that I don’t react at all, but I like to fill my mind with happier thoughts about people that I like.

I usually feel guilty about feeling anger, and so I have the tendency to just be a lenient parent...if I don't make too many rules, my kids can't break them, and they can't make me angry. But this isn't working out; they have to develop a better work ethic!
I struggle with it a lot. [B]

I don’t even have kids and I can come up with many dilemmas.

Hehe the thing with kids is that they’re not adults so most of the time they can’t be reasoned with. And they don’t come with manuals. What to do what to do? If you punish them and impose the rules on them, they’ll be scared and as a loving parent, you don’t want them to be scared of you. You want to believe that you can govern them with love, but alas, they know that you love them and they sure as hell know how to turn the table on you. How many rules are “enough”? Without rules, you imagine your kids running around acting like an untrained bunch. With too many rules, you’re afraid that you’ll take away the joy of their childhood.

I guess that a lot of us didn't often stop and think how difficult it is to be a parent. Only until we get a bit older and especially once we have our own kids then we realize how difficult it can be.

Sometimes I wonder how you can run the household AND manage 4 kids and 1 husband kaka. Don’t feel too guilty, we’re all human and when we’re at our wits’ end we tend to be a bit cranky.

One of you two have to play the evil parent and the other can play the lenient one. Which “role” does your husband play?

Hmm... I know for sure that my husband will be the loving but strict, no-nonsense father, our little imps will listen to him and walk all over me.

I laughed out loud again. This is gold. YES, they just annoy us. Such a simple thing, yet it took me quite a long time and many sleepless nights to come to that conclusion kaka. Do you find it slightly hysterical? We spent time thinking about it and agonising over it. In the end we throw our hands in the air and we’re just like oh da*n it, it does nothing but annoy me, so to hell with it.

Your post is a fun read, like always haha

Thanks girls. I'm having a lot of trouble studying for the new exams. Can't concentrate, at least not for long. Stressed out, tired... taking an, uhm, very long break here. Hehe. Just a beginning for the posts.

This is too much shiny new messages. I just keep reading them. Your convos feel kind of magical. Just very natural.

LOOL I laughed so loud, Muddy. No, sorry, didn't mean it that way. Boards are still busy right now. Maybe it's for the best not everyone's failing to reply.
Thanks, I'm doing just that.

But there's more. Yesterday, my dog had an operation (one she'd had before) and I was really worried. She's back on her feet again now, though. Stuff like that make it hard to keep on track... The whole day was all about her. I got a bit sick in the vet's room. Last time I nearly conked out, so I did better this time. She's not the easiest dog - gets aggressive when scared, even - but I gave her a hug when she was out anyway, I didn't like that they had to cut into her.

And yes, reality is touuugh. We need that escape now and then, probably even more with all of that Saturn dealing out the lessons. The fairy tales give you that little hour (or two, three) where things are easy and you can be that princess. Real-life princesses have a lot of responsibility, I think. Less romantic and more down-to-earth.

Faith, sorry to butt right into one part of your post, but I got something wrong there too. Didn't mean I'd been with one, I'd been in love with Snakes. You're right, those men are damn charming!

Aww, your husband, I feel for him. I guess we can smell the danger. Lol life does take some bad turns now and then. Maybe he really liked your living room! What had you cooked? Hehe. Did you grow up around snakes? Stories like that do make the news sometimes. It's funny you're so fascinated by them. Then again, they are the symbol of medicine - don't many pharmacies have it somewhere? There's something so powerful about them.

Your salad story's just too cute. You're better off, though, everyone else will start eating healthily because they have to, but you've already gotten all used to it.

Thanks so much for your responses, girls! I am moving between houses and will be away for a while, but I'm looking forward to getting some of the replies that are in my head typed out so you can see them.

Hope you both have a great weekend!

Ahhh good luck with your moving! Are you moving far? Please tell us when you get back.

... Or you could let us guess what you're going to say. That'll be long enough, right?

Same to you.

Muddy, that e-mail is getting along, it's just slower now that I have to type in between studying. Ugh, I hate it, I want to type all of those posts and get them done right now!!

Please try not to worry, okay? I'm just really busy. This is one of the few fun things I've done in the meantime.

Rie rie rie honey babbabeee you're suffering mercury problems, now you know what it's like to be me kaka

--------------

Rie now I know that you’re alive and reasonably well, my mind is at ease. Hehe I hope I didn’t sound pushy or something.
Make sure to drink a lot of water/fruit juice and eat well. When stressed, many people forget to drink water and they become dehydrated, sleep-depraved and even more tired. If you’re too tired and don’t have much of an appetite, try some fruits and nuts. Gotta keep your energy up. You can do it.

LOl yeah that’s what it feels like to be me. I misread, mishear all the time. There was one time my cousin said “evergreen” and I thought she said “f**k you”. That’s how bad it can get.

Gah, you’re still recovering, seems like stress has taken a toll on you.

Why did she have to have an operation? Aw that made me cringe a little, poor puppy. I used to want to be a vet, but I knew for sure I wouldn’t know how to handle scared animals other than cats.

Hehe yeah you’re right, princesses in reality can’t just sit and be pretty. Reality is tough and sometimes it is difficult to find balance. It’s like, we know that being in touch with reality is important, but sometimes we can’t help not to feel a little sad/huffy/sulky that reality has cut short many of our dreams haha. Well, it all comes back to knowing how to walk the thin line between the two worlds.

Speaking of cheesy romances, I’m in the mood for story-telling and I’ll tell one or two. I’m afraid that I have to reveal myself to you two that I’m a sucker for cheesy romantic fantasies. But I guess you and Faith can relate, coz I think most women at some point dream of romances and stuff. Astrology asides, we’re human first and foremost, so I guess that’s normal.

Anyway, in my culture, literatures have always praised the “perfect girl-woman”, who is often said to be fragile, gentle, extra-feminie women with “that look” - sweet smiles, sad eyes which hint of her depth and intellect.

When I was much, much younger I used to spend so much time trying to perfect that “look” in front of the mirror. LOL. I grew up attracting creeps (well can’t run with mars-pluto opposition), and the crazy thing was that I was sulky because my dream-heroes didn’t appear, I wasn’t worried about those crappy situations at all. Needless to say, I always had to squat those flies on my own. No wonder why I grew up to be such a hot-headed boisterous tomboy.

Faith, no Pluto can’t divide us. Our love will last for eternity. That’s a saturnine promise, kekeke. Moving between houses, wow that must be busy. Yeah, like Rie I’ll be waiting for you

;__; Yeah. *whimpers* My poor Mercury, it was so beautiful and well aspecteeeed... Jk, I have it by progression, too. So much respect for you, having it natally (and Faith and her Merc-Sat opposition).

Thanks, I will! Been having pity food just a little too much lately, I've got to get back to eating and drinking normally. Drinking is sooo important. My hair turned so greasy and dry too, but turns out it was the shampoo and styling products. I've switched to something less damaging. Hehe, look at you talking about healthy food. <3

How did you get from that to... that. Oh, How awful! Quite upsetting when you think you hear that.

She's an old bag, don't worry. But it was horrible looking at her. Like someone sucked out her soul, she looked so numb. ;_; Better that than in pain, though. She was walking again the next day! My girl's tough. Her moon's conjunct my sun, I can't help being soooo protective over her hehe~
Yeah, animals can be very unpredictable and their reactions, you need to react to that quickly. Sometimes it freezes you. I think you'd be so cute with cats, though! Play with them and get them all hyper.

Haha yeah, wouldn't we all want to just daydream or sleep all day? Then that nasty little thing called work/rl/school gets in the way. But it keeps you inspired and excited that way.

Fantasies are so normal. Maybe someone so busy it's crazy or who has tucked these things away won't, but most people do fantasize, right? That romance is cheesy because so many people can relate. <3

That's so sad! ;_; True, it suuucks finding out you're on your own. It makes you stronger, yes, it's good to find out you can get rid of them yourself, but it leaves this feeling that doesn't get fulfilled. I'm so so sorry you got all of those creeps chasing you. Please tell me you got away before having to bat them off!!
... and here I was thinking you look so beautiful in your pics. There are so many ways in which you can look pretty and feminine <333 Like the classy, quiet elegant way you do. Some girls look like a sex bomb, some are more the "mysterious seductress" type. The look you take on is usually the one that looks best on you.

I don't mind the age difference either!! I really hope you're not too self-conscious about it... we all have very similar energies, it blends well together. Just keep talking about your children whenever you like, I may not be in the same stage of life, but I do like hearing it.
