Hi there! I just logged in briefly the other day and saw that you passed your test, Rie! So congratulations!!!

Beyond that, I didn't read much, so I don't know what got lost.

However, I think it was just you and muddy talking (?) so I wouldn't have responded necessarily anyway.

I should be catching up here soon. Hope life is good for you both!

Rie & Faith,

I don't know what to think. Lol. I feel like eating my own fingers. I'm mourning the loss of 4 long posts haha.

Faith I did write something for you. But I can't remember what I wrote now.

Anyway, moving on lol.

What's new, Faith? I hope everything is well with you. Moving houses must be crazily busy. Reminds me of the good old past when I used to move around a lot. It was never busy coz I didn’t move “house” per se. I only had a small luggage and a big handbag for my belongings, it was so easy to just pack and be on the road again.

Rie, what’s your plan now? Have you started a new year or are you still taking a break after passing your exams ?

^ So am I, Randall. All the hard work people put in gone lost. Glad to see you still here, by the way.

Faith, thank you!
I was so happy, it was like this video (skip to 1min19ish - couldn't find a gif of it, sorry).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAHKCtsvW_M
Yeah, all three of them were gone. Some of it was a reply to you, but now I can't remember what I'd said. I can try again - and save them this time! - but it'll take me a while if you don't mind.
Catch up with us soon! Hope you're doing okay too! Any news on the moving?

Same here, Muddy, same here. ;___; I wrote you a novel and you didn't even get to read it. Like with Faith, I can try again but I'll have to find the time to sit down for them.

Wow you moved around with just that?! Makes it easier to just go up and do it. To how many places have you been?

I'm in my second year now. Three more years of studying hard but that's how I like it, hehe. It's a night school, actually, so I've taken that chance to follow another course... more in-depth, Buisiness English/Correspondence. Last year I struggled so much with mixing up formal and informal that I decided that needs more work. It'll help me keep more focused too. Everything just tends to slip my mind when I'm at home. Yeah, I totally screwed myself over taking such a high level of education with ADHD, right? But I've got to do it to even have a chance at a job - I actually don't have much beyond a high school diploma.
(Lol. That's what happens when the goat takes over.)

Please keep taking care of yourself, all of you. <3

Randall, when I read your reply the first thought that came to my mind was “You’re expected to mourn, you’re the webmaster”. LOL. Talking about Capricorns and crazy senses of responsibility and expectations.

Yesterday, I read the thread about sidereal astrology and out of pure curiosity; I got my sidereal birth chart from astro.com. According to the chart, I have a sag stellium (sun, mercury, venus, Uranus, Neptune) and even Sag ascendant. So I was looking at that chart, not knowing what to think and it suddenly occurred to me that my western geocentric chart actually fits me better. Haha.

On the road to recognise my Capricorn-ness, I have scrutinized and judged the living daylights out of many people. Randall is one of those unlucky casualties LOLOLOL.

Just kidding, people.

Dear Rie,

How can I possibly put my pain and sorrows into words? There is really no way in hell I can make you see the grief that is destroying my fluttering heart. Your replies are the joy of my days, and my days of happiness are not many.

It’s ok Rie. Although I didn’t get to read your replies before they got lost, I know for sure that they were filled with praises and flattering words. Haha I’m kidding.

I’m reading a book about Napoleon Bonaparte’s love letters and it’s affecting me. LOL.

He was a leo too. Have you ever written love letters?

I wonder if there is a connection between ADHD and the 12th house/mutable energies. Does it affect you a lot and make it very difficult for you to concentrate? Thank god for that virgo influences then, virgo doesn’t miss the small details and hence doesn’t tend to make a lot of mistakes.

It’s great that you have a plan, you seem to have them all planned out pretty nicely, Capricorn likes. At the end of the day, for a lot of people, it’s easier to have a degree. Just pieces of paper, but they open a lot of doors. That’s how I look at it. My husband is different, he’s studying coz he has a real passion for the profession so he likes to know more about it. I on the other hand, haven’t found my real passion yet. I tried different things, but yah so far none of them really makes my heart sing. Hence I think it’s great that you seem to have such passion for what you study. Three more years huh, sounds like a long time, but they’ll pass reasonably quickly.

What's the job market like for interpreters? Is it very difficult to get an internship?

About moving around, lol I have so much thoughts and memories in my head now that my mind has gone blank. I graduated high school at 16, I skipped 2 grades when I was younger so that’s why. I enrolled to uni and squeezed a three year program into 2 years n a few months. So yah, I started work pretty early and thanks to my luck, I got jobs very easily. I also had a bit of money, lol the story of where that bit of money came from is very entertaining. I stole it from the “family “- my “family” is huge, lots of uncles, aunts and there are many different “branches” - imagine a huge tree with heaps of branches. Lol I stole from them coz I figured that I endured all the crap they put me through, so at least I should have gotten a bit of compensation. Sneaking behind their backs like a little rat was more entertaining than I expected.

Anyway, that was how I got the financial resources to move around. I often rented/shared a place in a few months, and then found another place. It could be just a different street, or a different block...

Lol I talk a lot. Work has been busy. I’m still in that phase of slipping in and out of “depression” and typing replies is one of the many ways to chase it away.

-----

Hope everything is great with you all. People, when you have time please write some novels about your past, that will make my heart sing. LOL you know that caps are obsessed with the past. Just kidding. Take it easy.

Take care <3

^ Randall's a very dedicated mod. I hope your little research is at least getting you somewhere!

Ahhh sidereal. New to that too, and I have the same Sag stellium! My way too long posts... yeah, that's Sag. My Ascendant duad is here too and I do relate to it. What else do you have in that chart? Just wow, that is one hell of a stellium! I totally see all of that fire in you, together with your natal Aries moon. Actually, you remind me a lot of a good friend in my last fandom. Just very similar energy, very passionate but also serious when you have to, maturity through life experience, just a very easy person to talk to. She had Aries/Sag strong in her chart, too. Do you have anything to tell me?!

So does Faith, actually, through the super talkative Mars in Gemini and Leo (her Moon/Jupiter).

The one I really relate to, even more than my natal, is my duad chart. Astrowin showed it to me and everything just clicked. For someone with so much on the eastern half, it's bizarre I'm so dependent and wanting to do everything in a team. In my duad chart, Venus, Moon and Juno are conjunct in Cancer in my 7th house. Jupiter in Leo in the 8th. A 12th house Mars. (Natal Mars gets pushed to the 12th in some house systems.)

Haha. D'aww, it's okay. *hugs* You just did. Gah, I wish you had an easier life. Less pressure, more fun. Please talk to me anytime you want. We're doing pretty dang good here with 130 posts(lots of thanks to Faith and Randall here too). I LOVE YOUR POSTS!! Just every single one of them. I actually check this thread on my phone when I wake up and just curl up and read the new posts here. Best thing to wake up to <3

Dearest Muddy,
I don't remember! Nah, of course it was. Well, I did say that I didn't think you were self-centred... I mean, someone like that wouldn't have bothered to listen to post after post of my problems. ^^ they would've been like, "Oh, shut up *leaves*"

Aww. Even big leaders have their soft side. Is it just for the letters? Me, I haven't, at least, not sent any. But I've written big speech thank you e-mails hehe. In real life I've had so much bad luck with people I don't open up easily anymore. Actually, it'd weird me out to hear big praise from others at some point, especially if I didn't know that person well. I'd thank them and would be friendly, but not without thinking, "... But what did I do?! What about [closer friends/boy/girlfriend]?" Like even when they're joking. :| Got the idea that I have to earn everything and when I feel like I didn't, well, please take your credit to someone who does deserve it ;___;

It's gotten better now - especially because I really do want (to do) the big flaily undying love confessions to/from everyone I care about. I guess timing counts.

Yes, I think there is one. The Gemini types here say they're very scattered, too, and Mercury in a mutable sign tends to want to react to everything. Concentrating's hard, except for when something's interesting. Hyperfocus! I tend to lose myself into those things, I don't attempt to type a post like this one when I have to go somewhere. It'll go wrong. The Virgo skips a lot of details too... *sigh* even after 10 double checks. She just picks out the glaring ones that would've made me look like an idiot.
12th house, though, yeah, I'd say they play a part, to. It's such a muddled energy, lots of feelings that are hard to even articulate.

Yeah, I have. Looks good on paper so far. Haha Caps need a plan. Shh. I think they'd be helpless without them. But let's not tell everyone, they can keep up their appearances. Having degrees and training is just so important. Ohh I love that he's studying just to learn more! You're right, gahh, he's so passionate. It makes me happy just to hear you talk about him. Oh God. Such a shame you haven't found that one thing yet. Just keep looking and trying different things. True, it gets frustrating to keep finding out something wasn't it, but once you've found it, you'll know. Bit cliché, but it's true. Maybe you'll even run into it by accident. But what about your jewellery? You liked that a lot, even just for yourself. Aside from hubby, is there anything else that just makes you melt thinking about it? Its "flavour" is just right? Hmm... you had an Aquarius 2nd house, didn't you? Maybe something to do with social issues or that is from a distance. That sign's so mysterious!

I think it's okay? Translating is pretty popular and there's always a market for it. My dream would be to go into the media direction - subbing films or TV series. Especially live shows would be cool! Don't know about internships, actually. I hope so!

^ I know the feeeeeeling. You have this too? Just everything overflowing and ready to pour out, but it still feels, idk?
Two classes?! You must've been smart! Same with uni. You're one to look out for hehe. Sorry about your family ;__; Again... the feeling when they're not the kind of person you hoped them to be, it's impossible to word. I guess I'm against stealing, but you had your reasons for doing it back then. There's times where the lines blur. So I'm not going to say stuff like, "OMG that's so wrong" because it's not always that easy, and definitely much easier to say for an outsider than someone going through it.

Lol the Sag needs all the new experience. There were enough places for you to try? Pff that's a lot of travelling! I do get that he got tired and wanted to settle at some point. But there are so many ways you can both have your own life, go wild during the day/evening and then have someone to come home to. Have you thought of taking a few workshops or seminars? That'd give you something new every few weeks, something new to get excited about. You may even find that new passion! But ahh, I'm sure you two both have it all under control. Wait, you have. So glad for that! Awww. You're going to like it (getting used to routine).

I was wondering about that. Now that it's been a few months, how are you doing? Still feeling the effects? All I can say is: accept the feelings. Sometimes it feels darn good to just say, "Okay, I feel like sh-t, let's not try to make it any prettier than it is." You don't have to climb back out of it if you don't feel like it. Sometimes slipping back gives you the best chance to do some self-reflecting... and say goodbye to some old memories once and for all. It's okay to feel bad. You'll get out of it when you're ready. Like with the passion, when that happens, you just know. Suddenly everything falls in its place and there's this burden rolling off your shoulders.

This got a bit spiritual, but I wanted to tell you. It's fine if you're not feeling too good 'cause they're still your feelings. We both have a hardass moon, so it's tough to let everything in. But it's much tougher to let everything in and to just do what you need.

<3 Thinking of you & rooting for you hon.

Yes Randall is dedicated. It’s good seeing you swinging by sometimes Randall =)

Kaka sidereal is effin surreal. It puts my moon in pisces, Jupiter in cancer and Pluto in libra. Good ol’ Saturn is still in Capricorn 1st house, I don’t know whether to laugh or to cry lol. Mars is still in sweets-loving Taurus. North node is still in Capricorn.

Rie, please post your surreal sidereal chart too I wanna see it.

I think your libra ascendant is one of the reasons why you like to do things in two-some and in groups. And yeah now that you mention your multiple cancer conjunctions in duad chart, I see. The Libra part likes to socialize and have fun, the Cancer part likes warm, tender connection with people.

I’ve just checked my duads stuff and found that my sun duad is in aquarius, moon duad is in libra – no wonder why I crave human contact and prize beauty over practicality (my cap stellium feels guilty). Venus duad is in cancer, now that’s something interesting lol.

Lmao yeah don’t you know, I’ve been a loyal stalker of yours for years. It wasn’t difficult to follow your track from that fandom to here, MUAHAHAHHA

Thanks sweet, I like talking to you too, see how much I write ??? Kekeke. We have too many hot juicy synastry aspects, falling in love with each other is inevitable <curl up next to Rie>

Talking about problems, I don’t get annoyed when listening to other’s problems, nor do I feel guilty when I yap on and on about mine. I guess that’s why I kinda like when you talk about your problems, coz I know that it’ll lighten your burdens. If your baggage feels too heavy, you should dump some of it onto someone else, and give them food as thanks. LOL I guess that it’s one of those inevitable things, sometimes life’s good, sometimes it sucks. Life’s like a big painting, there’re bright colours – our happy days, muted colours – our “blues” and dark colours – our shadowed past.

Oooh honey, what you wrote about not feeling like you deserve praises and having bad luck with people is hall mark, classic 12th house stuff. I could say things like “Don’t feel that way, just be happy and take the praises” but I know it is not easy to feel comfortable, given your history of having abusive relationships. Sorry if I went out of line saying that. Just wanna say that I can relate to the feelings. I was trampled by a pack of evil elephants once. It took a while to rebuild myself. I guess with you it would be quite similar. Eventually you’ll recover and stop overlooking your abilities and your worth. The lioness is awake right? Keke and she wants to roar, you said that some posts ago. I have faith in you. Hmm having said that, Idk sometimes I feel that being humble is one of your sweetest traits. I have a difficult time deciding whether you’re actually shy, or you’re just a grounded, self-aware and nice person. I guess you’re a bit of both. I have an overblown ego so of course in my eyes you’re “too nice”, while in fact you might be just not as self-absorbed as me. LOLOL.

Hmm, I like and admire the fact that despite your bad experiences, you still have hopes and still carry on. You got burned and now you’re shy, but you don’t vibe cynical, stone cold vibes. Still very sweet and warm <3 I love it.

LOL Napoleon’s letters give a hint of another side of him. Passionate, clingy, stalker-ish, obsessive.. Haha these are my favourite lines:

“I don’t love you, not at all; on the contrary I detest you – You’re a naughty, gawky, foolish sl*t.”

“You don’t write to me at all; you don’t love your husband; you know how happy your letters make him, and you don’t write him six lines of nonsense.”

“I hope before long to crush you in my arms and cover you with a million kisses burning as though beneath the equator.”

I wonder if that was the common fashion back then. Dramatic confessions of love and theatrical displays of feelings and emotions... hmm I like I like. Well, come to think about it, modern couples still do similar things, like blowing up each other’s cell phone with hateful, passionate text messages. Love has been sending people nuts since the dawn of time kakakaa

Lol it’s so sweet of you to write thank you letters. Dang I’ve never sent a thank you card, let alone a thank you letter. These days it’s just easier and more convenient to pick up the cell phone and send a text. However, I still think that there is something so sweet and nostalgic about writing and receiving letters. Hmm......

Hmm, you have singleton fire sun, no? Singleton leo sun, no less, how enviable, that’s a huge ball of fire that will never go out. And Faith too, she has a fire triad in her chart and they really light up my own fire triad. LMAO Imma call you two my personal Prometheus (es) from now on. You remind me of how much I love fire, both astrologically and literally. I’m a bit obsessed with anything about fire and the sun, mainly because I dislike darkness and cold. Watching a fire can get me into some sort of trance.

Yeah, I know what you mean about muddled energies. Feelings are meant to be “felt”. Once we “cross the border” and try to put them into words, we’ll start to “think” deeply about our feelings. Somewhere along the way, we’ll lose “tracks” of our thoughts and forget our starting points. I feel that our “feelings” are like uncharted waters, and we try to map them, but often end up lost. Do you often find yourself in situations where you just “express” your feelings without “thinking” about them, and you end up looking/sounding really vague to other people? It happens to me a lot. It takes a lot of effort not to drift off into my own world, and to say things in a way that makes sense to others.

LMAO, spontaneity and courage take you to places. Plans and quick thinking help you to survive the places that your spontaneity and courage take you. Yes caps do like plans LOL I’m only spontaneous when it comes to leisure activities.

I guess the importance of training and degrees only goes so far, but there are certain professions that require them. I see them as stepping stones, not really the main focus.

Thank you sweet, I’ll find it one day. I have many childhood hobbies that I still enjoy, but at the end of the day, to me they’re just “hobbies”. They make me happy, but can’t stir me. I want something that can make me forget to eat and sleep, can make me obsessed to the point of turning it into a lifestyle, can put a spell on me so I’ll live and breathe it, now that’s what I call “passion”.

Oh my god, I love you, you know that? You read my thoughts so well. AAAAAAAAAAAAA our thoughts match perfectly. LOLOL I’m laughing out loud right now. I was thinking, “Yeah I guess my passion is that darling annoying man after all”, and I saw your post:

quote:

“Social issues from a distance”... Haha right now I’m thinking about treaty of world peace between human and aliens.

Ooh wow going into media direction is super exciting. The media is a colourful crazy town after all. Subbing films or TV series, hmm with your interest and gift in writings you’ll be a natural. When and how did your love affair with languages and writings start? <I bet there are a lot of juicy tidbits about this passionate affair muahahaha>

----

Ah, damn it you’re so sweet and cute. I love the way you put things in such nice tactful words. Lol given the chance I'd empty their "vaults".

Thank you for your support, I agree with everything you said. Sometimes hitting rock bottom is the only way to go back up again. I feel a mix of intense sadness, possible depression, explosive anger, resentment and a bit of vague, dull ache. I feel like I was treated unfairly, like I was robbed. It feels like my “territory” was invaded and my rights abused. Something precious was growing inside of me and Fate or whatever stuck its dirty paws in me and took it away. This fact alone struck a nerve. I hate to think that there is an “opponent” that I can’t take down. I want to kick the universe in the teeth and stomp on fate’s face. I want to tear them apart, get drunk on their blood and destroy them in the messiest way possible. Injustice would be squared.

Of course I’ll go on and have kids but that won’t change the fact that one of mine is lost.

My husband reaction is less angsty. He’s a Buddhist and according to Buddhist belief, our child “paid his/her past karma”, we’ve paid our debt, and if we don’t move on then we’ll forever be caught in a net of karmic sufferings...etc... etc... This is one of the rare occasions where I feel the force of all of our squares and oppositions. He tried to explain things very gently, but I was unimpressed. He tactfully changed the subject when he saw me narrowing my eyes. Bless him he knows me well and knows when not to tread on dangerous waters. Other than this small conflict, we’ve been supportive of each other, so yah sometimes I feel really bad, but most of the time I feel quite ok.

<3 Thank you sweets, talking to you guys makes me feel a lot better.

Rie and Faith, take care <3 and Rie, good luck with your study.

Thanks for the chart, first thing I notice is cancer sun. Now, I've only met a few cancer suns (not counting my relatives) so I can't really comment. But I think you have many of the general cancer traits.

Thanks! Class tonight. It's interesting!

I just wanted to post here haha! This is so funny and psychic.

All the best, girl. <333 Please keep fighting if you still can. You'll get through it! Depression suuucks but it does pass and I know you can make it!
They think so, too ^

*hugs*

Cancer, yeah, it's that obvious, right? I should've been born under that sign.

You should post your chart too if you want to!

Hi girls! Are we all busy now?

This thread got so much longer while I was moving and readjusting to life in the country, I am just overwhelmed by how many things there are to reply to! Not that it's work, I love chatting with you both, you are sweet and brilliant, and I've loved READING your comments here...and I will reply eventually.

Rie, I hope you feel better, and good luck with school!

Muddy you keep being your amazing self, are you feeling any better now? Hugging you...I can relate to your loss a little bit, though I think it's harder when it's your first pregnancy. When you do have a baby it will get your mind off this loss, I think...because babies are so much work, for one thing, they just consume your focus. They cutely consume it and they loudly consume it, and they seem to change who you are at bit, because you no longer have the mental space to think about what you used to think about.

Well I am just a frazzled mother myself but I mean this is a kind of consolation~ it's never easy, things are always a mix of joy and pain. I'm thinking of my husband's young cousin now, who is a Pisces tattoo artist, and who told me, last time I saw him, that he planned to get these words tattooed across the back of his fingers: "Fair is foul." Quote from Shakespeare about how life is always that mix of ups and downs. I feel that way myself lately...have been dealing with major PMS that I never had earlier in my life, and which takes me near that rock bottom on a monthly basis nowadays. So I am trying to forge a way to be happy even when I'm not...if that makes sense.

Anyway...I'll be back later, even if you are both out of town, I still owe you some responses and will talk to the air if I have to.

Best wishes to you both, hope you are on the upswing.

Haha, yes, reading everything is easy enough, but replying, now that's another story!

Faith, I'm floored again. Wow, so wise and you talk with so much life experience, it's so obvious you have tons of it. With some topics, gah, I wish you hadn't had to go through it, but thank you so much for opening up and sharing your story here.
Everything in your posts just oozes maturity. My moon wants to roll around in it.

So yes, what she said! Couldn't have put it any better, even if I'd had experience with being a mother.
Great quote for a tattoo.

Ugh, sorry about that PMS. Major moodswings, they drive you crazy and it comes as a shock when it's never been like that before. Yeah, I get it, clutching at thin air just to find something that'll help you through it, give you hope to sit through that week of pain. Grr. I started taking the pill mostly to get rid of the extreme pain, sick feeling and emotions I'd be in every month, so I relate. Feel free to vent over here, I don't mind some snappiness. Is there anything that helps you so far? Entertainment, being alone, b*tching ?

Yes do talk!! It's not air, don't worry!!!

And... would you two mind if I invited some other 12th house people to join the conversation? This has been between us so far, but there's people who might like talking here too. (from the 12th house Mysteries thread).
It's okay to say no.

And same to you! I'm not, but I've been more busy, which helps. Goats need to keep working.

The place to be for us.

Edit: Holy-- that was waaay too big. Thumbnail now.

^ Thank you, Rie, I think you give me too much credit but I totally love you for it!

#LeoRising

I'm fine with inviting others to the party! But let's get the vote from 12muddy, too. I'm for a unanimous vote, or for staying a tiny little club.

And thanks for the goat picture, I DO love seeing mountain goats and DO feel a connection with them. I actually love all goats but the majesty of the mountain goats touches my heart.

Hope life is good for you, be back with that long response when I get a spare hour or two!

PS Thank God my PMS is over, I appreciate your offer to listen to me venting but I go to such a black place in the worst of it, I can't even articulate it. 8H Pisces moon, it's like being in the bottom of the ocean sometimes. My Aquarius Mercury shines a spotlight down there but can only see so far, and then gives up!

My god Rie that is such a cute pic. Aww look at them, so cute so cute. I looked up “lamb and goat” on google and pictures of gruesome fighting between the two animals came up. Eh. I prefer your picture lol.

Sag moon and leo mercury. Weird how this chart explains a whole lot more. I’ve always had the feel that you’re quite fun loving, spontaneous, like if I were to call you at 3 am and ask if you wanted to go to the beach/go on a road trip/go to a bonfire party, chances are you’d say yes. I get the feeling that you’re one of those people who would have a little drinking party then dance and sing and record it on the camera.

I read your writing and it’s true that you heed the rules (virgo). But leo mercury conjunct leo mars probably explain why you choose to write about Battle Royale lol the choice itself isn’t very virgoan. Btw I’ve watched Battle Royale hehe Imma read your fic again, see if it feels different.

I watch it on gooddrama.net. That site is full of asian movies. It’s a wonder that I didn’t discover it sooner.

Faith I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t been feeling great. I think I kinda get it why you once said that you feel like you’re bound by expectations. We’re human and we get cranky and short-tempered when stressed. A lady like you who has kids and household matters to look after, I can’t imagine the stress, and I guess you try to hold it all in coz you don’t want to snap. I can relate a little with that. I get the feelings when you put loved ones before yourself. Like how I’m not wild as I once was, now I have my husband so can’t just go crazy as I please and hurt his feelings or cause unnecessary disruptions. I’ve no doubt that when we have kids I’ll have to step my game up and increase my tolerance threshold.

Your moon plays a huge part in this. Sacrifice and take care of others’ needs and wants first. I bet you’re like this not only to loved ones but to other people as well.

Thank you for your support. Yeah I too believe that eventually it will pass. I could dig and dwell deeper into my psyche but I think I should not. Sometimes I wonder if I’m avoiding the problem by not digging deeper. But if I continued, I’d be down a long dark road and I’d forget my way back. It has happened several times. So yeah I better break the pattern and lay things to rest now.

On that topic about mother and child, do you two think that it is possible for a mother not to love her own children? For the last couple of days I’ve been reading about this topic and apparently the majority says that it is not normal, but possible. I guess I could see why it kinda makes sense. I can imagine a mother thinking “Apart from the fact that you came out of me and supposedly, I’m designed to feel that I wanna love and nurture you, there isn’t any other connection between us”.

Lol Rie “roll around in it” sweetie why you always say things in such ways that make my heart sing hahah. Ever wanna write a book? Like children books, collections of short stories or fantasy novels, I think you’ll be wonderful at it.

Faith, nice milk baths with essential oils and rosewater can help us relax greatly. Cortas carries excellent rosewater and orange blossom water. Especially orange blossom water, its fragrance is very heady and exotic. If you’re already have them in your fridge, that’s great. Lol funny how a lot of the finer things in life only cost a few dollars. Rie go hunt for some of these two floral waters too. I often say that weed was the stuff that got me through high school and uni but that’s actually not really true lol. Floral waters were the one that helped. Add half a teaspoon of orange blossom water into a cup of boiling water with a crushed mint leaf and enjoy. Rosewater and sugar in a cup of warm milk will help you sleep like a baby.

Haha you two are bonding over PMS, I’ll join the party too. I get PMS only once in a while but whenever I do all hell gets loose. Sweets and cakes help a lot.

Ooh, having more people sounds nice. The more the merrier I say.

If you are a dreamer, come in,

If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar,

A hope-er, a pray-er, a magic bean buyer…

If you’re a pretender, come sit by my fire

For we have some flax-golden tales to spin.

Come in!

Come in!

— Invitation, by Shel Silverstein

--> sounds extremely neptune/12th house lol

Not sure if I wanna stand there, it looks mighty dangerous haha I prefer the forest, meadows, hills covered in soft velvety grass and little flowers.

Random:

This is the kind of food 12muddy likes to eat. Very cap sun/taurus mars. The portion was a bit small though. I ignored the tomato half and that measly piece of leafy vegetable lol.

^ Hi 12muddy! I just can't imagine you eating that, you look so dainty! But I love french fries, too, I could eat them every single day and never get sick of them. And how did I forget you are Taurus Mars? That DOES look like a Taurus Mars meal!

I love the Shil Silverstein poem! Rie, invite your friends, I'm dying to see who they are.

muddy, I LOVE that you gave me a recipe for what to put in my bath, and a tea recipe! I will keep them in mind, trust me...it's weird how often people talk about rosewater and how seldom I find it on the shelves in stores. 'Will look harder or order online. For now I use epsom salt and some essential oil (usually geranium) and then a citrusy salt scrub for my feet.

Then I use rose body lotion. Maybe someone with a keener sense of smell will find my fragrance blend a bit odd, but I like it.

More later, as always!

Faith I’m glad you like those little recipes, those are some of the quickest way to enjoy floral waters. I often add a few drops to ice cream, milk puddings, sorbets, yogurt, honey or tea. In summer I add it straight to drinking water. I’ve found some deserts that call for floral waters but all the recipes look so complicated haha. Most of these recipes come from India/Pakistan/Middle Eastern countries and I find that very romantic. It fits my romanticized images of those lands.

As for location, you can check out your local Indian or Middle Eastern groceries stores. The Cortas ones are quite strong in flavour and fragrance. Mymoune is another brand that I like. Mymoune floral waters have a softer, milder fragrance. Mymoune Rose Preserve is another luxurious stuff, it is so so soooo good.

Ooh, essential oil and luxurious scurb, teeheehee you’re like Marie Antoinette. I once read an article about her dreamy beauty regime. Hmm, “odd” fragrances blend? Now I’m curious, what does this special blend consist of, if I may ask?

Lol that meal, I did call for a second helping. It’s one of my favourite meals. Give me a big piece of roasted pork or a piece of medium rare beef, plenty of fries or roasted potatoes and pumpkins and I’ll be very very happy.
