Yay this part is up

Thank you <3 My husband and I are doing much better. It’s good seeing him getting his flamboyant flair back. When I was 17, I got my first card reading ever. That lady made her own cards, they were unlike any I had ever seen. For the love spread I pulled five cards. At that time I found her reading strange and soon forgot about it. I’ve only thought of it recently and so much of her reading has proven to be true. One of them was a card featured a golden king with a long sword, the sun shined above his head. She said that I’d meet a man wwho would be proud and kind, just and fair, strong and honourable. After more than 4 years, I’ve come to know that he is a lot more than those 6 words, but those 6 words are the best to describe his very nature. Lol even his name means “golden” and “king”.

It was sad seeing him so down. We’re in this together and it’s good to know that we can soothe each other. The people in our life and friends like you and Faith help a lot. It feels way better to talk about it with people who care =D

I know right, to me fire is like the best thing on earth. Chinese astrology values harmony and balance, an excess of any element means a severe lack of others. It brings troubles. So yeah, that’s why. Fire gives life, but too much fire toasts it. Women who have too little fire have troubles conceiving. Women who have too much fire have miscarriages and heavy menstruation.

Hehe yeah I love all Disney animated movies really. Not just Disney though. I guess one that I like the Jungle book the most. And Little Mermaid. I used to feel so much like her, wanting to get out and explore the world. Lol just the other day I met a guy whose behaviours reminded me of Gaston in Beauty and the Beast =)) Do you watch a lot of animated movies ?

Randall, thanks for fixing it so quickly! Haha, everyone wants to be here on LL.

Muddy, I don't know if I can write something back tonight, so I wanted to let you know. Especially after that two-parter of a post! You made me smile again and thanks for getting back to me so soon.

Gah, I'm so glad you were able to break away from that arranged marriage! It really was for the best, you've found the right one now. If you'd like, could you tell me more about him? What else do you like about him, other than the flair?

This was the last part of my post that the server ate:

Thanks for that. I actually have, just not how I thought I'd meet them.
But yeah, it's still a shock just how much Neptune can work against you. I hope you both will find more people who are as kind as you two~
Oh and I wish you could've been there. I'll say you were there in spirit

Again thanks, I'm going to try again. I really don't want to fail again, but my father's already talked about how maybe I should do it anyway, just so I can have a more peaceful, quiet year this time. Oh, I'm doing that ^^ I'm going to a beauty salon Saturday - facial. And had dinner with my mother. Very good food! I should remember to start taking pictures again.

That sure sounds like love-hate It's like it can never get it right, can't it? Too slow, too boring, too much work, too hectic...

Rie that’s perfectly fine. You’re so sweet you make me smile too. Lol I’m smiling now That part about me being there with you in spirit is so lovely <3

Spending time with your mother sounds fabulous. It is always good to bond with our parents. How is your relationship with your mother? The relationship between my mother and I has always been tense, but she has become a lot more relaxed these recent years. And I’ve become a bit more mature and patient so we’re getting along better. LOl some weeks ago she called me and she freaked out coz her eyes and palms had gone yellow. At that time it was autumn in australia – persimmon season. There are 4 trees in the backyard. She loves those fruits. So I was like “Eh....mum have you been eating a lot of persimmons?” Turned out she had. That phone call is one of the few signs which tell me that we’re getting closer.

Ah, we girls love pampering ourselves don’t we. Spas, massages and beauty treatments. I love walking out of a salon feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Having a more peaceful year is good, especially now that you probably need time to recover. Do you like taking pictures? With your libra ascendant and your 4th house planets, I’d imagine that you like photography and have an appreciation for the little beautiful wonders of life.

Do you have a lot of Neptune activity in your chart?

Lol, talking about Neptune. Yeah that’s the Neptune’s effect alright. We have a lot of Neptune going on in our synastry.

Just a quick message that I want to get back to you - to all three of those posts (wow, you wrote me so much, I don't know where to start!) I'll reply as soon as I can.

And I've never had any parsimmons either. They look quite good!

Rie and Randall, you guys should definitely try them. My parents have three kinds of persimmons - that's what they said lol really I think these trees are mixed. They have Fuyu, Hachiya and Date-plum. Fuyu fruits are crunchy and sweet. Hachiya fruits are big, ruby red and gooey soft when ripe. Date-plum (the best kind) bears fruit that are sweeeetttt, yellow-orange in colour, and soft but kinda firm as well.

The fourth tree is supposedly a Hachiya lol (my father grew it from seed) but apparently the soil in that part of the garden is different, so the fruits of that tree are slightly odd.

With the Hachiya and date-plum, my mother picks the fruits when they’re still firm, puts them in a container with some apples and closes the lid. When they’re ripe, the skin will appear translucent. Some people just let them ripe without the apples, but they may have a furry/astringent taste.

Rie it’s ok, I’ve been busy with work as well. And I miss Faith and her fish tail muahahah.

Aww, I think it'd be like that. When people can't be there physically, they can still be thinking of you. ^^

Never heard of any of those three different fruits! I'll have to look it up some more. Actually, I don't know if there's any shop around here that may sell them. Are they specific for a region/climate? Probably. Funny thing about the way you ripe them. Now how would those apples taste afterwards? The farming and gardening really is your thing, isn't it?

Haha @ that story about your mother. It was probably quite a shock to her not knowing it was only something she'd touched. Reminds me of this time when my hands were suddenly blue. The doctor asked if I hadn't ran them along a new pair of jeans, lol. Kind of embarrassing, but oh well! Thanks for the pic!

Yes, I do have a good bond with my mother and she's been my rock pretty much all my life. She's intense with her 4-planet stellium in Aries & Moon-Mars in Scorpio, but I guess I'm one of the few who can handle her. Haha jk. Of course she ends up with a child who's earth-dominant.

Glad you're getting along better with your mother now! Those things do get better with time, as long as nothing too awful happened between the two of you. Sometimes even moving out helps so much. Yeah, it's good that she's calling you, especially for something you could help her with. She probably trusts you more. So she lives in Australia?

Oh wow that's amazing! Feels almost eerie how accurate a prediction can be. I love that his name means what was on those cards. Maybe it was the different kind of cards. I can just tell how much you care about him by those posts. It really shines through It's poetic - didn't I say that about something else, too? Good for you both for getting through that together! And yes, if you need to talk more about it, please do. This thread's always open for it and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. <3

But yes, do you happen to write poetry or have ever put something to music? Your writing has this flow that would fit this really well. I've got to throw this out, haha.

Ahh, I see. Then I get it'd be a problem. Which element do you lack, if you don't mind me asking? Neither of those (strong fire) sound good! The latter can be quite a bother. I should check my Chinese astro report what my elements are. I think it was water and earth again? With a dash of fire.

No, I don't watch that many of them, I'm more into horror (recently picked up my love for Asian ones again... so many new films released when I was away!). As a child, though, yeah, I loved them. The Prince of Egypt made me bawl and Notre Damme scared me at times, haha. Jungle Book & Little Mermaid... can't remember too much of them, but they were part of my childhood films. Definitely. Did you identify a lot with those characters? It is funny seeing real life people be so much like a character! Kind of awkward, too, sometimes, when they're the negative traits or everyone treats them like in the film.

Thanks, your support meant a lot to me. True, I shouldn't keep it inside anymore - which is how the sudden outbursts started two years ago. The inner lion was tired of hibernating, he wanted to roar again. I think some of my constant fatigue is linked to that. I quickly realised I had to surrender to the feelings, but getting out of them was impossible. I still don't know if I'll get through it, at least, I can't think that way right now. It's so hard getting them out of my mind (or former abusive ex-boyfriends), because I keep running into people like them. I've been reading up on attracting toxic people and there were lists of behaviour and lo and behold, my old group of friends (or the ones in college/middle school/last comms online) showed nearly all of them. Worst is that I did see it - I just chose to ignore it, downplayed it "you're just being too sensitive" or "grow up, they can't think of you all the time". I really thought that if I just tried harder or accepted all of those sides of them, it'd get better. But it didn't. I'm an air void like you, I can't detach myself just like that.

I'm sorry I'm talking about such problems while you've been in an arranged marriage. Can't even imagine the feeling of everything being fixed for you. You definitely aren't the type who likes that kind of thing!

And yesss, that is the best part of working with animals! Heh, I'd love to take care of them someway. Cuddling pets as a job~ And just feeding them, giving them their medicines, etc. You're speaking my mind here. But last time I applied, it was for serving food at an institution or community centre. That'd be good for someone giving and to get in touch with all kinds of people. Did you volunteer anywhere else?

Heee, you have Jupiter in your first house now, I'd guess? Your relocation chart sounds good, especially for work. You've hit the jackpot! Mine has changed slightly (I did move to another part of the country a couple of years ago), Saturn is now off my IC but still conjunct and Venus is now conjunct my Ascendant from the 12th house side (10-degree-orb, though...) I do feel like I've gotten better at being social and putting myself out there. Sadly, it hadn't lead to much of a change in the real world. But at least I know it isn't because I'm being too closed off or shy anymore.

You know, good point on having too little time for deeper relationships. I did hear quite often that people want "low-pressure activities" and would blow off friends for that. Puzzled me, fun people never feel like pressure to me. If it does, there's something wrong with me or them most of the time. I admit I do wish I could have the experience of dating around and flitting from friendship to friendship, having all of those buddies you go partying with - just to know what it's like. Everyone always talks from experience, saying it's not that great, but good luck trying to convince someone on the outside looking in. I wish I could've had the chance to let my hair down and lose that wild streak, you know?

I guess so, but still I hope it wasn't the final blow for her. Wow, that's such a positive attitude. Really good! I don't feel like it at the moment. Too disappointed. Maybe once I've given all of my feelings a place.

Your mother sounds fabulous. So much fire. I’m very happy to hear that you have a good bond with your mother. The feeling of having someone who understands, who has your back. It’s great.

The past does come back to haunt from time to time, but it can’t invoke rage, like it once could.

Those peple lied, abused and schemed and hurt you. They should be glad that you’re so sweet you only cut them off. Honestly this is going to sound bad but if it were me, it wouldn’t have ended well for them. I’m extremely vengeful. My friend is a good friend, so I don’t mind her blow- ups at all. Sorry I think I didn’t choose a more fitting example. Say, there was this girl who once was a friend of mine. We got on well but she tried to seduce my husband (bf at the time), so I went all Sparta on her a**. It’s bad but I’m secretly very satisfied. I admire that you didn’t lash out. Talking about self-control.

I’m glad that you talk to me about what troubles your mind. I tend to avoid that “oh my problem is bigger than yours” mentality. I guess that as human we measure the severity of our problems base on the effect they have on our physical body and our material world. I can see the logic in that, but I wonder if we can measure the effect they have on our mind, our emotions and spirit.

Hehe all I want to say is that I’m glad that you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and problems. Knowing that someone has a broken neck doesn’t help to relieve the pain of your own sprained ankles. It’s true that you seem to downplay your problems. Looking at the post, you poured your heart out then said sorry. It fits the pattern. You seem to think of others before yourself. If they don’t care, you’ll make up excuses for them. Ah, that libra ascendant. And all the squares to it. The ex-friend predators had fed on you for too long. Well, it’s ok, you have the strength and clear mind to see them for what they are. We cross path with so many people, our karma ties are numerous, we bump into mean ones, but please remember that there are nice ones and you’ll meet them. Feelings of sadness, anger and depression, not being able to let go are expected you know. I’m not an expert, but I think that because you have just cut them off, your wounds are still fresh. Probably right now, you need time and need to find something to believe in, to work towards. Eventually it’ll get better <HUGGG>

It’s good to hear that the lion wants to roar =D It probably will be a long journey, with all of your painful experiences. But I believe that you’ll get through all of this and come out in all leonine glory.

I only volunteered to help out at the animal shelters. Some of those dogs and cats were abused and rescued, so they distrusted humans. Volunteering at community centre or institution is great. It’s the feeling of being able to give something/some time, being able to help. Nice. How was your experience ?

I’m glad that the change has led to more positive feelings. Ouch, Saturn conjunct IC. And venus in the 12th. Good thing it conjunct the ascendant though. Well, about the dating and flitting around, lol I have to say, it really isn’t that great. Well it depends on how each person handle it, really. I didn’t handle it very well lol partly because of my immaturity. But yeah, I know how it feels to want to “lose that wild streak” like you said, to want to work it out of my system.

Thanks for saying that my writings has a nice flow to it. Being a fan of your writings (oh yeah I saved them and read them), that compliment is huge. I write a lot of poetry in my mother language. Funny I can read books and poems in English and can feel them just fine, but expressing my feelings in English is difficult.

I don’t exactly “lack” elements as to speak. Sorry I’ve been using the wrong terms. Every chart has the same set of stars in their fixed elements. It’s the placements of those stars that count.

Oh yes it is funny Lol I love horror movies too. Have you watched any good ones lately? The Asian horror movies often feature pale ghosts with long black hair crawling/walking awkwardly.

Lol honestly I feel for Frollo, if a party of red, hooded figures screamed at me every time I get sexually excited I’d be very frustrated and angry too.

I read the book after watching the animated movies and it was so sad. The religion thing reminded me of so many things.

I'm still here! I just got behind in the conversation and need a spare hour or so to try and catch up. 'Will try and do that soon. I have *very important* things to tell you, so don't worry that you will have to read my extremely long post when it finally comes, it will be worth your time.

(Only kidding, I merely babble, so you can just skim if you like, no problem. )

Okay, ready to jump back in here!

Pardon the randomness of this format, I'm just working from memory, chiming in on these topics:

About losing friends:

12muddy, your January 5th friend reminds me a tiny bit of myself in my younger years (my birthday is January 6th) although I haven't yelled at any of my friends since I was like 12. (?) But I used to have some "misguided zeal" and wanted my friends to listen to my way of thinking...honestly I wanted to change them and got really impatient sometimes when I couldn't get them to change. Sometimes I just left out of frustration. Looking back, I marvel that they even put up with me as well as they did! I must've been quite nice most of the time, to make up for my impossible side.

And sometimes still, when I think about all my conservative Republican friends and their viewpoints, I still want to tell them a little louder that their politics annoys the heck out of me. But I really like them, so I choose not to dwell on the parts that I don't like. I mean, no one is perfect. This has been the gift of maturity to me, that I can recognize my own pushy side and tell it to shut up. There is more to people than their religion or politics or persona.

Rie, I agree completely with 12muddy, you're fabulous and maybe a change of scene or circumstance will give you a lift! When I graduated from college I knew I had to leave my home state, it was weird how strongly I felt this need to escape. My life hasn't been all roses, but I'm glad I took some chances when I did. I should look at my relocation chart!

Saturn transiting your IC and Venus in the 12H could be part of the problem lately, as you said. Makes sense.

I have sun square Pluto, too. *hug!* Actually it is part of my cardinal t-square: Cap sun, Aries Jupiter, Libra Pluto. (My moon is part of a mutable t-square and my Mercury is part of a fixed t-square. Lots of tension!) I think maybe this had a negative effect on my social life when I was younger, as I took things too seriously and was just too intense for some people's taste. I was insecure feeling that sooner or later they would get the impression that I am seeking that same thing from them: total engagement, meticulous attention to detail, long letters, etcetera. Maybe I was (?) and maybe I still am (?) because when I think of the people I talk to most, including online, we all like loooong, deep conversations.

About fire in the chart:

12muddy, fire is my dominant element in Western astrology, I wonder if that counts for anything? I did have trouble getting pregnant for a few years. I suspect that I was actually serially miscarrying. I did a week-long cleansing fast, which immediately reversed my infertility, and then took Vitamin E (1,000 IU/day) to prevent miscarriage. So if I'm a fire girl and managed to have five kids maybe your day is coming, too! (Just kidding, I know five is a LOT!)

Is there a way to get a Chinese astro report online? I am probably mostly earth and water in Chinese astrology- born in a Rabbit year, Ox month, Snake Day, Rooster hour.

My cat is here licking my hand, by the way. She loves the new food I'm giving her so I get licked while I type now. So cute.

About horror movies:

Is that a Cap moon thing, watching horror? LOL I can't do it! I tried watching Texas Chainsaw Massacre when I was in college. Just having the video in my boyfriend's apartment made me want to cry all the time. Finally I worked up the nerve to watch half the movie, so I could feel my nerves shot to pieces for the next two weeks or so. Yay fun. Pisces moons and horror are not a good mix, I don't think.

About mothers:

12muddy, I'm so happy that you and your mom are making some progress, I've been sad for you ever since reading about your childhood on the PTSD thread. *HUG* I think you are amazing for forgiving her and being willing to improve your relationship. And Rie, that's great that you and your mom get along! I had a love-hate relationship with my mom but it was mostly love. I think for a long time I told myself that I didn't really love her that much, just so I could recover from her early death. But sometimes nowadays when I am talking to my kids, I think, "My mom talked to me in this same considerate tone of voice that I use with them. She cared about me the same as I care about them...same exact way." So all these years later I'm getting better at remembering what our dynamic was actually like.

About "the king":

I agree with Rie, it's SO CUTE how you talk about your husband! Mine's a Leo, we've had good times and bad times...lately he's been great and it scares me. Like "Uh oh, am I falling in love with my husband again!? Ack!"

LOL. Love is scary I think.

About persimmons:

I really want to try one! Last time I tried to buy some, they looked weird to me. Like dense orange tomatoes with bruises. I will have to try harder to find ones like you showed in your pic there, muddy.

About long posts:

Sorry, but I warned you! Please don't feel any pressure to get back to me soon or at all, I just wanted to wedge myself into your conversation and your friendship because you both are so cool. Consider me a chatty bystander.

All the best to you both!

Faith is like a ninja mergoat haha. That pisces moon is so elusive.

I love your posts Faith, it’s always a joy reading and replying to them.

I like the way you deal with your friends. True about that part of not dwelling on the things you don’t like. I have sag Lilith in the 11th - variety is the spice of life lol. Being friends with people who have similar values is soothing. Being friends with people who have different views is refreshing and exciting. It’s all cool. It only gets awkward when their views are too extreme or hateful.

Hehe about the chart, I know very little about Western astrology so I don’t know how it would play out. Thanks for sharing the cleansing fast tip, I think I’ll try that coz in my chinese/oriental birth chart, some of the water and earth stars will transit through the children house soon.

There are some websites that offer free birth chart reports but they’re in my mother language though and I don’t really use them coz they get it wrong sometimes. Chinese astrology was introduced to different parts of Asia and each country modified it a bit. Reading it is complicated; there are quite a lot of stars and combinations. Each element has its own categories – different “kinds” of water, fire, metal, wood and earth. I love the philosophy of this astrology. Birth chart, facial and physical features only affect a person’s life to a certain extent, the rest of it depends on the person – “Good deeds and virtues triumph over fate”.

YOU HAVE A CAT, OMG THAT IS AMAZING. How lucky to be basking in the adoration of a cat. What breed is she? I’d love to have a cat <cry> but I don’t know if I would have enough time for pets. I want a Siamese cat. They are said to be huge attention seekers, vocal and very very affectionate. Once I took a stray Siamese kitten in but had to take her to the shelter coz the place I was renting didn’t allow pets. She was adopted two days later.

Mothers... they play a huge part in our lives but sometimes, I don’t think that they are aware of that fact lol

You’re so sweet. Thank you <3 <3 The bad blood between my parents and I (and all of the crazies in my past) used to run deep like poison in my veins. But after all the rage, tears, resentment and what nots (side note: why is there such a wide range of vocab to describe these feelings, my mercury can’t handle this lol) – yeah at the end of the day after all is said and done there are only a few options for me: to forgive, forget or get even. With my parents, I forgive, I don’t know the extent of their torment and I love them so I want to give them peace. With those other people, I've settled the score so now I'm quite satisfied and content. Not the best way to generate good karma, but really, to hell with it. Revenge is a fish best eaten cold (wth am I saying haha, a poster has once mentioned that caps likes corny jokes) --> this is the capricorn side talking

I love the way you talk about your husband and children. A leo, lol you have your own king right there in your home haha. Ah that part about falling in love with your husband is so cute lol he’s lucky to have you in his life. At least you don’t go “Who are you and what have you done with my husband” kaka.

Our relationship isn’t always lovey-dovey, which is exactly how we like it. At the beginning, it was like “Lovestruck” then it got all “Fast and Furious” and turned into “Clash of the Titans” and just when everything was about to become “The day after tomorrow”, it mellowed out into a very soapy Bollywood movie. There were some fantastic fights, which we remember fondly.

Faith, the persimmons are really good but they bruise easily, so the ones you see in markets are probably bruised during transportation.

I think you've mentioned at some point that you're on a raw food diet. How is it, can you tell me more about it ?

Just checking in to say I'm still here. Feeling blocked right now and I do want to reply to everything here.

About an older post (something I forgot) yes, I like photography a lot. Mind, it's just taking some pictures with my phone, but I like it.

You're both so genuine and sweet again. I'm still a little shaken that I'm not getting any justifying of behaviour or jabs for opening up. Aside from my family, no-one ever does that for me. (LL is so different! Much nicer!) And *sigh* yes, Venus in the 12th & Saturn-IC natally. Venus is also part of a T-square with my Uranus and Jupiter. I hate it. For a very long time, I thought my chart spelt out doom and no relationships - no planets in any of my romance houses either - sometimes I still think so. Ugh. Looking at my chart as an outsider, you'd think I'm some self-centred, passive, uninterested [insert term of abuse of your choice here]. Asteroid Nessus conjunct my Venus-Juno-Valentine trio too. Ughh. I do have a really bad temper when people push me too far for too long.

So... I wasn't completely innocent here. I can have some pretty shocking outbursts when people really push push push & use me for ages. I've learnt to hold it in for longer, but it's gotten me in trouble a lot. On one online comm, for instance, I had a breakdown from months of stress and they held it against me until the day that comm closed. Like injokes they'd bring up whenever they felt like it. But even then I don't call names. I do like that. Must be the Libra & Virgo~

LOL, Muddy. Okay. I laughed way louder than I should have at the "went Sparta on her a**" I don't think I want to picture this. Don't get on your bad side! But seriously, that calls/called herself a friend? Thank God you're not talking to her anymore! Of course your husband would see through that

Love the L'Oreal Leo <3 It's hilarious. Fabulous manes! Thanks.

You saved them?! Gosh, that's the biggest compliment I can ask for. Quite telling how it's someone not even into the fandom who really enjoys it. I wonder if aspects can decide who you check out and who you don't. Ahh the language problem. It's odd how words feel so... different in your own language or in another, even though you're saying the same thing. Do you like the more "personal" touch of using your mother's tongue? And moonlight at night <3 Plus happy husbands <3
Seeing the sun go down on a lake is gorgeous, too. I got to see that a while ago and it felt very serene.

Yesyesyes, Faith, tell me about your cat! Aww, the licking is so cute. Cats <3 And your posts are never babbling. I love getting novels :sunflower: I want to roll around in the shiny. Feel free to keep wedging yourself in here

Three T-squares?! And one in each modality, too, oh my God. Ah, the nerves and tension. Really gets you in trouble sometimes. But you've really overcome all of that - or managed to deal with it - and that's amazing. How did you do it? Glad it did show you what you look for in friends, be it online or in real life. The high standards, heh, just stick to fellow perfectionists <3 Epic convos

*sigh* Yeah, I know how hard it is when people just won't change, even if it's for the better. It's tough seeing that as their opinion. I guess I couldn't really believe that people really were not interested in returning the kind of energy I put into our relationship. Good you can kind of... blank out the religious and political views you disagree with.

Haha, falling in love with your husband again. Shocking!

Funny you're finding this out so much later. It's just one of those things you don't think about - picking up traits from your parents. And yes, like you, I'm rooting for you too, Muddy, to keep things okay with your mother. :hearts:

About horror films: Yeah, the Asian ones do like a ghost story! Recently, I watched "White, Melody of the Curse", a K-horror about an idol group whose latest hit is a cursed song. There's some really good slasher ones, though.

Ah, no, it'd be tough to watch that with Pisces. I can watch it, I just find it hard to see people get killed off. I was never one of those obnoxious types who holler and cheer when an annoying character "gets offed". But I enjoy the tension and mystery too much not to watch it. :P

Okay, this turned out way more than just a check in message

Okay, I'm totally confused right now. First it doesn't post half of my post, then it turns out it did?

Thank you <3 I hope that the relationship between my mother and me continue to get better too.

Hehe I just read your story like they’re new novels. I think your virgo mercury really shines, coz your stories are rich in details and exciting so I don’t even notice that sometimes I don’t get some little parts. If I know more about fandom and the characters in your writings I know I will enjoy them even more. It’s probably the aspects between my Neptune, venus and your mercury. I like your writing style. The details in your stories, they allow me to visualise things as if they were movies. My Neptune is in the 12th, so I love books and stories that tickle my imagination.

About the language thing, yes indeed they do sound so much different.

Lol at the cheering hahahah I totally do that when I watch movies or sports. Especially sports, I swear to god that sports change people lol. One of the biggest reasons is that I get excited easily. I avoid sad movies or books coz they make me cry. Thriller and scary movies make me yell ...

- “Die you $%&, piece of $#!+, DIEEEE”

(I yell louder)

- “He/she/it is just right there, KEEELLLL”

(Character gets killed. I feel satisfied.)

- OH YEAH FINNALLY.

About horror movies, I avoid the extreme ones like Saw. The physical torture scenes are way too graphic for me to handle. I remember watching a bit of Saw and the graphic violence made me dizzy and I vomited. Thrillers that involve fighting, shooting, explosions, people dying ... are ok though. LOL at me.

About the block, you probably need some time, I know that you’re recovering and things haven’t been good <3 Check in messages are great too. We can also talk about lighter, more trivial stuff you know. Hair, makeup, skin care, seeing a dead bird, the sky, the wind the weather, stepping on dog’s poo, likes and dislikes.... Whatever you feel like, whenever you like. If you want to, just put it in here.

I feel you on the bad temper thing. I’m pretty erratic in nature but for the last couple of years I’ve mellowed out a lot. Ah, some online forums are full of those people.

Can’t blame you for those outbursts, you didn’t get angry just for kicks. When our sense of justice is offended it is natural to feel angry and want to express that anger. I’m not sure about keeping it in though. I think it can turn inwards and make you physically sick. But I admire that you didn’t call names. Very dignified manner <3 love all that leo and libra and virgo influence.

Argh, t square that involve Jupiter <pat pat> My Jupiter receives a square from pluto and I have aspects like venus/Neptune/Uranus, venus/Saturn. Things were rough sometimes, but eventually they got better. I can’t just say that you should not feel bad coz I know when things go wrong, it’s natural for us to feel bad. But pls don’t lose hope, coz eventually I believe that you’ll meet the right person. I’ve read somewhere that not having planets in romance houses and tough aspects to venus can mean that romance will come late, but the relationship will be long-lasting. I mean, not being in a relationship can make you feel lonely but looking at the brighter side, it gives you more time to grow, to love yourself so when love does come, you’ll be able to handle it well. Not to say that all young people can't handle relationships well. Just speaking from experience and observations =D And with age and experience, we start to recognise the “signs” of people to avoid. That’s good too.

Soon = NOW!

Wow, you girls talk about cats the way I only talk about Elvis! I love my cat but still have a long way to go before I would call myself a "cat person." I'm a dog person. I love enormous, hairy dogs like Newfoundlanders. Some day we'll get a dog, too.

We are buying a little yacht, and we already have issues about how we will find a good pet sitter for when we go on our longer cruises. Sometimes we think of bringing our cat on board, many sailors do that, but we are petrified about her escaping from the cabin then slipping off the deck. So we probably won't bring her. I KNOW we wouldn't be able to fit a giant dog on our boat along with five kids...but that's fun to imagine anyway.

LOL at "Clash of the Titans," muddy! Yeah I have been there, done that. Which soapy Bollywood movie are you in now? I love Aamir Khan and every movie he stars in.

Is your husband a third decan Libra, by chance? My father was, and his girlfriend for many years after my mom died was a first decan Cap. They had a kind of "tortured soulmate" relationship: deep love but a cloud of external issues dooming their marriage plans. She and I are still friends.

I have a bad temper too sometimes. Lately it's been worse than usual because of the Pluto-Uranus square hitting my cardinal t-square.

I've gotten into arguments here before and I think many people who have witnessed them understand that I have something like a verbal sword that I won't hesitate to whip out when I feel strongly that it's needed. Even though I don't get really angry, I can sound like it, which is odd to me....like my 3H Pluto just creeps through my words even if my emotional state is calm when I'm arguing. I wouldn't be surprised if some people think I am a flat-out b*tch. I would conduct a survey (Astro thread: "Who here thinks Faith is a b*tch?") but that would seem quite egotistical and besides, Randall doesn't want us to use swear words. I'm just cheating here.

Anyway, the girl I argued with most intensely isn't around anymore. Can't say I miss her.

Generally speaking though, I am pretty mild and bend over backwards for people half the time. You two seem to be the same way. We earn our right to occasionally get angry.

LOL at how you watch horror movies, muddy! I watch horror the way you might imagine a sheltered four year-old from a religious community watching one for the first time. ROTFL! It's all too real for me.

Rie, your Venus-Jupiter-Uranus t-square sounds like no fun at all. And truthfully, for a while I have felt bad for people with 12H Venus natally. Though, I suppose it could give you a spiritual, universal kind of love, too...and I think I see that in you, just your willingness to be honest and deep with people you are just meeting (like here at LL, you jumped right in without hesitation.) I wonder if your 12H Venus works like my and muddy's Venus-Neptune? That'd be another thing we all have in common.

Can I ask a favor, can both of you post your charts, if you're not averse to posting them?

I'll post mine below, as muddy requested on another thread.

So, this is what I was talking about...

Cardinal t-square
15 Cap sun
11 Libra Pluto
16 Aries Jupiter

Mutable t-square*
18 Pisces moon
12 Sag Neptune
16 Gem Mars

*= Of course, if my birth time is much later than 7pm, my moon will be out of orb for the t-square. I don't think my birth time is that off, however.

Fixed t-square (grand cross if the MC counts)
5 Aquarius Mercury
6 Scorpio Uranus
0 Leo Saturn
2 Taurus MC

Mystic Rectangle:

Aries Jupiter opposing Libra Pluto
-sextile and trine-
Gemini Mars opposing Sag Neptune

Sorry, three posts in a row but I forgot to answer this:

quote:
I think you've mentioned at some point that you're on a raw food diet. How is it, can you tell me more about it ?

It's not totally raw, just a heavy emphasis on raw...maybe 70% or more, depending on the day. I just think it's the best diet for me, helps keep my energy up (unlike cooked food which can sometimes make me need a nap.) I love everything about raw food: taste, nutrients, enzymes, antioxidants...

Initially the idea seemed radical and impossible to pull off. Now that I realize how good raw food can be (it's not just salad and more salad!) I am hooked. My cravings for junk or some of the heavy, cooked foods that I used to eat (like fried chicken fillet sandwiches) are mostly gone. I crave healthy raw food now.

For breakfast I usually have a green smoothie (like kale or spinach blended with fruit and ice) and then some fruit. Lunch and dinner are mostly raw vegetables with something else. Like a chopped daikon radish and watercress salad with avocado and mustard seed dressing plus some whole grain crackers (sometimes the raw crackers I make in our dehydrator.) Sometimes I eat raw cheese. But I often eat cooked food: baked potatoes, vegetable soup, and a bit of seafood here and there. Plus some processed food like french fries and corn chips or store-bought hummus or canned vegetarian chili. And I have some organic dark chocolate most days.

^ Sorry if that was a boring list, I don't know how else to answer the question.

What's your diet like? Question is for both of you, if you'd like to share

I'll reply to the other posts after this one, but I really wanted to post my chart now.

Lol Faith we have a Venus-Mars square... but also Mars sextile Uranus, so I guess it's not so bad? My Mars is at 6 degrees Virgo. We have Mercury trine Ascendant & Sun trine Chiron as well!

So, here's my chart with asteroids. I admit I don't like how empty my chart looks with just the planets. I think they make some important aspects, though.

Wow at the chart. Ever since I’ve gotten into western astrology I’ve been wondering about how would a person whose planets are all in different signs feel? Does it feel like the descriptions on astrology websites? Do you feel “scattered” or have internal conflicts?

a t-square in each modality. woa, how do they feel? how do you think they play out in real life ?

Communicating/interacting with you must be a very interesting experience.

Cruising around on a little yacht with family and a dog, that sounds divine. Fun time with family and friends is always so good <3

Haha I like dogs but I’m afraid of them sometimes. Lol a lot people often try to get me to pet their canine friends, they’re all like “Pet him/her, he/she is marvellously gentle, don’t be afraid”. I look at the dogs and all I can see in their eyes is pure hatred.... LOL no I’m kidding it’s not that bad, although a lot of dogs don’t seem to like me. Cats are my familiars.

My husband and I, we’re in every single Bollywood movie where there are couples dancing around mountain tops and singing to each other lol. I haven’t watched many movies, don’t know much about the culture. So far, what I love about India and those movies are the dancing, the rich colours... Everything just seems so bright and decadent.

Oh my husband is a second decan Libra, anyhow the external issues are actually quite true. Once he told me he “knows” that the universe doesn’t want us together. We have total faith in each other, but his health may one day be a problem. Meh. We’ll be prepared. Sad to hear about your father and his girlfriend. It’s just sad to hear that those forces sometimes are really too great for us mortals to overcome.

Lol at the survey. that sure sounds like something fun. We get called names at some point in our lives. I’ve read somewhere that Pluto in the 3h may bring problems, discords and power struggles when communicating with others.

Thanks for the nice recipes. They’re not boring at all. They’re pretty “exotic” to me coz I’ve never tried or heard of any of them before lol Yeah I’m thinking about eating more vegetables and raw food. It must be because of some transits. I’ve made a kale salad the other day and I liked it a lot. Surprise surprise lol I didn’t think I would enjoy it that much. My diet consists mostly of meat, especially beef. I eat beef everyday and I like it medium-raw or raw. Raw beef is so meltingly soft. There is nothing like a plate of fresh, thinly sliced beef, slightly cured with lemon juice, pepper and garlic. Or a heap of raw minced beef, richly seasoned with spices and herbs..... I also eat raw fish and a lot of fruits and sweet treats. Raspberry and peach in yogurt with a bit of rosewater sprinkled on top is one of my favourites. Cakes of all kind, especially cheesecakes.

Rie I see all the Jupiter oppositions and squares to the ascendant. <hug>

You have virgo stellium lol no wonder why I’m so attracted to your energies lol. Some people I know have virgo stelliums, my husband have virgo moon/mars/venus and I can’t leave them in peace.

Hi girls! How are you both doing?

@Rie

Thanks so much for posting your chart, I want to take some time to study it and ask you about it when I get more time. Ditto to you, muddy, I haven't thought about your chart much yet. Sometimes when I sit and think about a chart, I get impressions about how it might feel having those aspects, and can ask more specific questions.

Rie, we have Juno conjunct Juno =) (mine's around 22 Virgo) and we both have Chiron conjunct Jupiter, though in squaring signs.

My husband's Venus is at 6 Virgo as well, and one of my sons has a Saturn-Mars conjunction right around there, too. I'm used to some tension there.

But we have sun conjunct moon, that will give us a lot of mileage! If you want!

@muddy

WHOA your 12H is loaded!! I've never seen anything like it! But you seem so airy (Aries moon, I guess?)

Your Pluto is conjunct my 20 Scorpio NN, that's great. We're Caps we can handle the intensity! Your NN on the Cap-Aqua Cusp means you were born on what my fave astrologer Gary Goldschneider calls "The Way of Electricity"....along with Einstein, Elvis and yes, yes, even better, aquaguy91.

That helps explain your charisma...not that we need look any further than your Cap sun, of course. =) (And I hope you understand that I'm just being silly and flattering myself because I'm a Cap, too.)

Thanks for your questions about my splash chart, you got me thinking deeply on the issue, and I've enjoyed all that introspection. But I feel incapable of really understanding how the splash chart is manifest in my life and personality. Here's the best I can come up with:

I'm not scatterbrained unless I eat poorly but my interests are varied to the point of being almost annoying. I had a hard time choosing a major in college because I felt that I could have been happy in most of the majors available. I liked so many of them equally. So I let my father choose my major (English Literature.) This was not the best choice, I don't think, since I almost never read fiction and have very little interest in it. But I did well and just moved on.

I might be hard to understand, because I am not like one concentrated bundle of energy, I'm more like a big cloud. Also, my Mercury is quintile my moon, which is part of that t-square with Neptune and Mars. Maybe that's why much of what transpires in my head is very dreamy and imaginative...like I live on mental comfort food. But I can and do snap out of it when I have to. My Cap sun comes back to earth sometimes.

What matters to me as a Pisces moon/Rabbit is just that when I'm with people they feel at ease. Having a splash chart (with many planets in the middle degrees) means I have a conjunction with people of many sun signs. So I resonate with their energy, see where they are coming from. And that part of the splash chart makes me happy.

Still, I feel quite intense, having a planet in each of the fire and air signs. I might seem agreeable and easy going to a fault in person, but as I get to know people, more and more of that fire finds expression. That can be shocking for people to realize at first. But over time I think the people I'm acquainted with do understand that I am just a friendly, incredibly complicated person. They can trust me for being nice and they can trust me to have an eccentric viewpoint that occasionally shocks them.

Care to tell me how it feels being you, having your chart? Please? I'd LOVE to hear it! You, too, Rie! =)

----
As for dogs speaking hate speech to you... LOL! I'm sure they aren't.

And your diet sounds super yummy as well. Is that Thai cuisine? The raw meat reminds me of it. But I'm sorry I don't know which country you're from!

I love how you describe Bollywood movies and now I understand, you meant the whole tone of Bollywood. Well that is gorgeous. So is your hubby's Virgo moon/Mars/Venus, now I think I can understand a little better how you two can connect so well! And do you have anything big happening in composite? I love real love stories. <3<3<3

Hi to you both,

Wow, I hope I didn't get people worried here. First I've had internet problems for two days, and then personal issues that made me want to avoid literally everything (and so I did - selfishly). I'm really sorry for taking so long, but I'm planning on getting back to everything in a batch. Does that sound okay to you? Don't want to end up ranting for hours about those issues and get this post all off-track, so they'll be in a separate post.

I have so many questions too! I'll stick to a few for now:

Faith, with your 5 children, do you see them in your chart? Any combination of Sagittarius and Neptune/Pisces? I know one of them has a foreign name

And with so many houses occupied, do you feel like you gravitate towards the two missing ones? Yeah, I imagine it'd be easy to make a connection with anyone because you're so familiar with each sign's energies. Must have been hard to deal with the number of harsh aspects you get in synastry. Heh, I bet your husband and son get along pretty well - or through some struggles.

Then Muddy, do you feel more like a Pisces at times with that crazy huge 12th house stellium? (Like Faith said, WOW! Holy-- I don't think I've seen any stelliums that big either.) Which of these conjunctions would you say do you feel most strongly? Saturn because of its ruler? Venus in the 12th in Capricorn and conjunct Saturn and Neptune. *hug* Ouch. The double dose of both. I imagine you had to search for quite a while to find the good, loving man you're with now. And what about having a planet at 29 degrees? Do you still feel... uhm... Saggitarian in your way of thinking, or do you take on some of Capricorn having it that close to the cusp?

And you got me just a little too curious about reading my stories. If you don't mind me asking, which one did you read?

Again, I'll try to get back to the other posts as soon as I can. I just couldn't wait with these <3 And I wanted to leave you something.

Rie, we understand <hug> a little selfishness is good. So is ranting. Ranting helps to relieve stress so rant all you want <3

Oh I’ve read all of the stories, some stories I’ve read several times. End of the Line is good. And I especially enjoyed Battle Royale. Side note: I love that sun flower, it looks just like a grinning lion with fabulous mane haha.

I can see the 12th house mercury and venus in your writings. Wild imagination, love, romance and a bit of death and gore kaka.

May I ask if the oppositions to your MC cause career problems ? Or do you have to overcome oppression of external forces?

You guys know what’s crazy? There was someone on another forum asking about his/her chart, and apparently he/she had 6 planets (included the moon) crowded in the 12th house <mind blown>

It’s hard to talk about how the aspects play out in real life. I only know the general description of each aspect so I’m afraid that I won’t have any deep, philosophical answer, but I’ll try anyway.

I don't feel like a pisces (well, the general descriptions of pisces - to be exact). I feel like a fish-brained goat lol.

Having a crowded 12th house and a 1st house Saturn is a bit of a blessing in disguise. I live right on the blurry line that separates fantasy and reality. I’m dreamy but I know where dreams end, where reality begins and where they all merge together. The conjunctions between Saturn and the 12th house planets and ascendant allow my dreams to bleed into my physical world. Saturn on the ascendant gives me the ability to turn those dreams into reality. Magic happens at the point where the two worlds meet.

Oh, and that bit about 12th house people may be prone to lying and telling half-truths. For me that’s true to a certain extent. I don’t fabricate things but I do keep secrets. Mostly coz they’re too dark. Better to keep them hidden. I don’t like to ruin other people’s good mood. It’s coz with moon in the 3rd I’m very expressive, sometimes a bit melodramatic. Lots of hand movements, lots of facial expressions, lots of touching and hugging.

Perhaps one of the most profound effects is that I have a bit of synaesthesia. Images, smells, colours, sounds, tastes are alive to me. Lol I’m Alice in my Wonderland. And I often feel like I’m watching myself in third person. It was nice. Until I asked brother Google about it and found out that it actually could be one of the signs of schizoid personality/autism... (-__-!!) I was like oh wtf, god I nearly laughed my head off.

I feel a bit of each aspect. With venus on ascendant I’m naturally a pleasant, cheerful person. The crooks that I dislike may want to argue that point lol. I’m a bit vain, I look into mirrors and reflective surfaces a lot. I don’t deny myself pleasures (with Saturn on the ascendant, other people had done that to me lol). A lot of things make me happy. I do what I want, whenever I want and however I want. As for love, I searched for it for quite a while. As soon as I felt any kind of connection, if I liked that person I’d ask them out. Just didn’t want to let the chance slip by. With Neptune/saturn on venus and the squares to the moon, I do lose interest quickly if I feel that there’s something “missing”.

About mercury, hmm i’m not sure if I'd fit capricorn or sag mercury. I can be blunt, but that can be attributed to moon in the 3rd. Mercury is in the 12th so ideas are overwhelming sometimes. I also have a bit of stuttering problem. I express feelings through words and paintings. Bright colours when I’m happy and excited. When my mind is troubled I paint with muted blues and greens and neutrals.

Faith, my mind is blown lol you don’t lack any element. Major envy. I want some of your air placements hahaha. I’m airvoid and on the verge of being water-void as well, and I’ve always wondered about how it feels to be balanced. Do you feel very balanced? Very well adjusted?

Wow thanks for those info about "the way of electricity" hehe you know a lot about these topics <3

I've just checked out The secret language by Gary Goldschneider. Got 2 reports on husband's birthday and mine. I have to say that very little of those reports rings true to us. I guess that in our cases, life circumstances and individual experiences play a big part.

But the method that he used is quite interesting.

I like how you describe your pisces moon, I’d use similar words to describe the vibes I get from you. Very soothing.

Oh that isn’t Thai cuisine, I eat raw beef just because I like it haha. I like beef, if there isn’t any raw beef, a beef burger will make me just as happy.

If I may ask, I’d like to see your composite with your husband and the synastry too

Yes, well, Jupiter is ruling my 5H (Sag being on the cusp) so that can explain the largeness of my family. I don't know how to say this without sounding weird and conceited but I felt very strongly that I needed to have cute children. And I think many people would say I succeeded with that! So I believe Venus has to be near enough to the 5H cusp to affect my kids' looks.

I never considered how the foreign names match my 5H Sag! LOL...yes, you're right, that is fitting. Also, my first son is a Sag, and yes there are some pretty strong Neptune aspects in the bunch (Neptune is conjunct my Sag son's SN, conjunct another son's ASC, etc.)

I gravitate towards Virgo but I think my mutable t-square, especially the Gemini Mars, is too much for them. I used to have a lot of Virgo friends and now I have none.

I love Cancer people, and oddly enough my husband's entire family is or was Cancer: his mom, dad, brother, and sister-in-law, all Cancer. But I have little contact with them (his parents are dead) or with Cancers in general: I'm estranged from my Cancer sister, for example. I do have one Cancer friend, she's a Cap moon and her nodal axis is the exact opposite of mine. We have Mars tightly conjunct Mars which oddly enough seems to act like glue in our case.

You and I both have 11H Mars, lots of friendly activity but sometimes a little...what's the word?...contentious with friends. As we already discussed.

The people I talk to most, my most constant friends, are Leo, Sag, Cap, and Pisces suns.

So Rie, some questions for you now!

I've always been curious about how it feels to have sun conjunct SN. Do you have any opinions on how that is working for you?

And Juno conjunct ASC! You do seem like someone who is dedicated, maybe that's part of it? And Lilith Libra-Eros in the 1H definitely adds some "zing" to your sociability, I think.

And is Saturn-Neptune right on the IC a big deal in your life? I imagine your home life as pleasant and stable...so Saturn is working positively there?

3H Uranus explains your lively, upbeat and interesting posts!

muddy, thanks so much for writing and posting the composite, I'll catch up with you soon, too!

Bye gals

I hope I'm not making this whole thread so wordy that it's hard for everyone to keep up. 'Will try and keep this short...even though I might fail because I've got so much to say here.

Edit, after writing this:
Yeah I did fail, sorry!

You two have been alluding to these stories and I don't know what you're talking about...Rie, do you publish stories and if so, are you comfortable posting the link here?

That's a good question and may apply to me as well; it never occurred to me before but Uranus is right near my IC. I was always good in school and but never got ahead with my career (I stopped working young, however.) My SN is in the 10H which also made me feel like I just didn't belong in the business world.

Yeah, me too about the secrets, even though it bothers me that I feel I can't be 100% up front with everyone. I think my 12H Saturn is extra influential in my chart because it's in mutual reception with my sun. Hence all the buried stuff.

So cute...I don't know if I psychically just knew you were that way or if you mentioned the hand gestures before.

<3 I love that.

Huh?? Never heard THAT before! LOL I've always been jealous of people with synaesthesia. Now you are in that club of people I envy.

I used to have an extremely powerful connection with color...seeing certain colors would flood me with emotion. I remember being about four and seeing a string of green Christmas lights, glowing against the white paint of a door jamb. I stared at it for a long time, with tears in my eyes. I didn't have the words but I remember the feeling enough to suspect that I actually thought I was re-visiting heaven or something, communing with this otherworldly light. I was often tearing up when staring at colors when I was little. It seemed normal to me but now I notice none of my kids ever do anything like that.

I still have very strong color preferences and will scrap a picture if I get one color a little bit "off" and can't fix it. I doubt other people even see what I'm seeing; in fact they've told me they don't know what I'm talking about when I try and describe it.

Anyway... don't feel bad about possibly being crazy =) I have Mercury square Uranus very tight and you can trust me to be even crazier.

Wow!! Is that from Venus on the ASC, like it grants you the power to just plough through life like that? I feel very limited, very bound to others' expectations.

As soon as I felt any kind of connection, if I liked that person I’d ask them out. Just didn’t want to let the chance slip by. With Neptune/saturn on venus and the squares to the moon, I do lose interest quickly if I feel that there’s something “missing”.

In awe of you....

Capricorn is an artistic sign, I'm convinced.

Do you feel very balanced? Very well adjusted?

I just typed a paragraph, erased it, typed another one, erased it. So there's part of your answer. Not exactly...lol

But here, I'll try harder to get it right. There is something about me that I like very much and this is as good a time as any to reveal it. I can strongly connect with a very wide range of people. People might brush me off at first because I look plain and don't talk much but eventually I end up with a strong, balanced rapport with mostly all of the people I deal with in real life. It's just a matter of time. Perhaps that balance is coming from me doing the "grounding." Earth signs tend to offer that grounding, but maybe with my other elements I add flexibility (air), some excitement (fire) and compassion (H20) and it makes me "whole" in a way. Thinking of my splash chart like a circular island now, a whole unto itself that can carry the weight of others who may be missing elements or whatever.

I don't think I'm better or worse than anyone, but if I have a social gift of any kind, that may be it.

Really? Wow.

Well, LOL...you have the same birthday as Acoustic God, a member here, and it's hilarious how much I feel like I GET you, and I don't get him at all. Last time we talked I told him that I felt like I was talking to an alien, he makes so little sense to me. I hope it didn't sound too mean.

LOL, I wouldn't have guessed that from your totally perfect complexion!

If I may ask, I’d like to see your composite with your husband and the synastry too.

My photobucket account is expired and I have to go see what their new terms are, so I may or may not be able to post charts anymore. (My birth chart, I just copied from another LL thread.) In the meanwhile I will see what I can just copy over from astro.com directly, to show you what me and he are about. Stay tuned...

Looking at your composite now....
