Oh, gosh, we were married for Twenty years, DeepFreeze.

Raised some Real Good Kids together.

Might be different, I don't know.

Sorry, don't mean to crash the Thread

Ellynlvx: You're strong :blueheart:

Yeah, I guess letting go is an important part, but not all.

After so many years together, that person changed her and it has sort of become a part of her.

It's quite bittersweet, really. For some people, to love is to "merge", to melt the boundaries and become one. And when that love fails, it's hard to re-establish the boundary again.

^ I love it!

I've been waiting for the dust to settle on this thread...

muddy, in one of my posts that took forever to appear (long post, LL timed out before it went through) then appeared at the wrong time (when other matters were more pressing) so I deleted it, I said that every time I came here, I thought about your cat with all planets conjunct in the sign of a**hole...couldn't stop giggling about it, and it would throw me off, so I couldn't remember what else to say.

Now I've repeated that story and hopefully I can leave all of that behind.

I'm DONE with the a**hole stellium laughing fits.

Pretty sure, anyway...

Looool planets conj a**hole. cracking up too!

Love the appartment, hope you'll get it. It looks very calm and sort of traditional? Is that right?

Ahh let's forget about that edit... I know you were annoyed, I get it.

And yes things have calmed down a bit. Have they? For now?

Love you ladies and lots of hugs for the upcoming Cancer season.

Hugs you two > <

Oh just wait till you two hear the real joke. When I said to my “sweet” that the cat was a major a-hole, he paused for a few seconds (for effect) and he was like “The cat acts just like you”. Muddy nearly burst a vein lol.

We’re gonna take him with us. It will be tough on him coz the flight will be long. But we don’t want to leave him behind. Being “abandoned” once is already too much.

Aw. The warm cancer season.... it oppose my stellium. I need to wear heavy duty armour in order to deal with it.

Do you have any cancer in your chart Faith? I vaguely remember that you have a bunch of grand trines in your chart. It’s one hell of a cool chart. Speaking of charts, did I remember your birthday ? I think I forgot. So sorry (feeling guilty), you opened a thread for my birthday >.<

Hah, we didn’t have to hunt for an apartment/room. That task was pushed to my friends (they deserve it) lol. This one is quite ok, the rent isn’t expensive and my two closet friends live in the same complex =D we like to stay close.

Rie it does indeed look quite calm. That’s one thing I like about it. In a crowded city that never sleeps, a bit of peace is much appreciated. But I do like the noises n the bursting energy – it’s in my blood. Come to think of it, every time I came back I felt weirdly “in sync” with the flow of energy.

It’s not traditional in style. Often in the country side there are spacious old fashioned houses. In crowded cities we opt for the simple minimalist designs. The “traditional” feel that you get probably comes from the little altars. They belong to the previous owner.

When we move in we’ll have an altar for the “land guardian” too. And incense, fruits n flowers...etc... for the wandering spirits. It’s the old customs. It has something to do with warding off spirits, making peace with them, bringing good luck n prosperity.

I’ve even heard of supernatural stories where things happen coz people don’t carry out those customs. It sort of makes sense, the wars killed a lot of people. There were many nameless graves (on which a lot of new buildings n apartment complexes are built).

Sounds like you are headed for so much FUN!! Living in a complex with your good friends, that's wonderful. Best wishes to your kitty, making the long flight without too much stress.

I've never lived in a city. Growing up in an urban environment is about as familiar to me as growing up in a hut in the jungle, or on a boat, or anywhere besides boring suburbia, USA. I just can't imagine how it would feel. Sometime, I'd love to try it, if only so I could eat at all kinds of different places at all hours of the day and night.

I don't remember my birthday thread but whether you contributed or not, I just imagined that you still liked me

Thanks for remembering my weird chart, it's kind of a novelty but doesn't change the fact that I've been living a homebody, boring life for the past several months. Saturn transiting my 4H, on my NN.

I love the altar to the land guardian and have to assume there is truth to the legends about wandering spirits.

Storytime, I will delete this later~~

I went to school in Gettysburg, where 50,000 men died in three days during the Civil War. Skipping over all the ghost stories I know...

One night my roommates and I were playing with a makeshift Ouija board in our room when the little glass oracle thing seemingly flew off the table. The two girls who were touching it at the time both believed it had just taken on a life of its own, and they both swore they didn't throw it. I didn't really fully believe them...just figured someone threw it.

My one roommate was so freaked out that she sought out a Native American healer who lived nearby...he came to our apartment, sensed very bad spirits...performed some ritual and put crow feathers (?) over all the doorways. Again, I had like zero faith in all this stuff.

But about a month after that happened, my one roommate stole my semi-boyfriend, causing a major scandal...to make a long story short, everyone abandoned the apartment. Though occasionally my one roommate would return and cook something and not clean up the dishes...just adding to the horror of that place.

Makes me think the "curse" we were told about was real after all.

Thank you. I hope that he won’t freak out too much.

I like you. That’s a fact.

Taking care of children n managing a home aren’t easy and I imagine that saturn in the 4th house would demand even more effort. Sometimes I wonder why do children have so much energy? They eat so little yet they bounce around like they have all the energy in the world.

Totally spooky story. I’ve just looked up Wikipedia about that battle. Imagine all the rage.

Weren’t you scared at all? Gosh you are one tough cookie.

It matches the stories that I’ve heard (people fighting, getting divorces, or just general bad things).

I love the story btw It’s a rare occasion when I get to read your stories.

I bet where you grew up wasn’t boring at all. I imagine somewhere quite peaceful, where people don’t worry much about keeping up with the Joneses.

When I was born the country was still recovering from the wars but it wasn’t as bad as the 70s n 80s. My parents told me it was hard back then. During the mid 90s things became much better, but not for a large number of the population.

I remember the sun, the heat and the dusty, noisy roads. And the markets. We didn’t go to supermarkets or malls, well there were only one or two I think. Hah people got so excited when those ere opened but only went there to escape the heat. Most preferred stuff sold in the markets, they were cheaper, and the food was fresher.

Yeah I’m looking forward to moving. I have the feeling that it is a bit similar to going back to an old lover. At first you bask in the familiarity and sweetness of the past, then soon enough you remember why you left the a-hole in the 1st place. Haha I’m being dramatic. It’s not that bad. It can turn out to be a very good decision. Mr. Muddy will have his 1st Saturn return soon so I bet moving back will be a big thing for him. I know he loves it.

Hi again, muddy!

Hi Rie if you're around! And thank you SO MUCH for the email you sent earlier, it really hit the spot. I will answer that soon, but didn't want to ignore it here.

Hi everyone!

muddy, I can't believe how YOUNG you are, talking about growing up in the 90's. And how OLD I am! LOL Yeah...earlier tonight I was at the library looking through a book about the Civil Rights movement in the American South in the 1960's. People were so blatantly racist I could hardly believe what I was seeing...like police sicking German shepherds on black folks who were peacefully demonstrating for equal rights. Only TEN YEARS before I was born??? It's just crazy.

Thanks for describing the markets and the dust...gives me a little vacation in my mind, to imagine it. The fresh food is a real luxury, flavor can be...I dunno, extravagantly important. Like for me, I once had farm-fresh organic strawberries from these master gardener people, and that sorta ruined my the strawberry-eating part of my life, because it set me on a quest for that same amazing taste again, and I've never found it. All others pale in comparison.

Yes, the town I mainly grew up in was pretty quiet and peaceful! Very intuitive of you to imagine that. Lots of wide avenues and big trees. My Pisces best friend grew up in the house next door, so we are practically sisters. It was cute, if I ever needed a friend I just walked across the driveway. Then, if we were ever bored on a weekend night, we would sit out on her steps and sooner or later a friend would drive by (this is before the days of email/text messaging/cell phones! hehehe), and maybe another friend and another, until we just had like a spontaneous party. So fun.

Anyway..nope, no Cancer planets in my chart, but the 4H NN is something. Also my Saturn is at 0 Leo retrograde. So it's almost like a wannabe Cancer Saturn, running backwards towards the womb it came from.

I know what you mean about moving back to your home country...hope it's not like going back to an old lover, LOL. Won't it be great if you actually find all kinds of ways to appreciate it now, from your adult perspective? Maybe things that you missed when you were younger. And good luck to Mr. Muddy with his Saturn return.

Um, you mentioned my being brave...I'm sorry to turn down a compliment when I usually have a hearty appetite for them...it's just that at Gettysburg there were so many ghosts, I had to put my blinders on. Like I just started telling people, "I don't believe in ghosts, really, because I've never seen one."

Then one night, I think I might've seen a ghost in my boyfriend's allegedly very haunted apartment (earlier occupants were full of stories)...This female ghost in a bonnet and long dress was staring straight at me for about five seconds at least...but even then I was like, "I must've just been tired."

I can't remember if we've already talked about ghosts here on this thread or not. But remind me, please, if either of you (any of you) have seen them/dealt with spirits? I'm always up for spooky stories.

Night

Edited next day...I was tired and babbling too long last night...

Faith <3 Thank you for the reply I know you’re busy n all.

Yes I can relate to how you feel. It’s amazing how quickly things can change.

Ha, yeah I am indeed still very young haha I have a lot of time so now I’m just kinda cruising along n taking it easy. Papa Saturn can go take a warm mud bath.

Oh I know, after you’ve gotten a taste of something that good, nothing else seems to measure up. I feel similar about raw milk haha. After I tasted raw milk, the watery kind sold in supermarkets just doesn’t cut it anymore.

Hehe I love how you described that town. And such sweet memories. They lift the moods like nothing else. I have one or two where my friends and I sneaked out of school during lunch time and went to the church yard (it was right next to our school). We would lie under the shade of a big tall tree that had very curious-looking blooms. Tiny, bright yellow blooms that knitted into bunches and wrapped around the branches. It looked as if the tree was wearing lots of scarves lol

Thank you for your well wish. Hah. Mr. Muddy have 4th house NN too. That explains the family-oriented trait.

Hehe thanks Faith. That’s exactly what we’re hoping for. Seeing the positive things n hopefully they will trump the negative I’ve had lengthy discussions with my s.o n my friends so yeah...

Lol no I don’t think we’ve ever talked about supernatural stories in this thread. Guess it’s time for some juicy stories. I love them.

Yeah I’ve seen things of that nature. Once I saw a man wearing odd clothing (old fashioned, ragged) that stood outside of a Buddhist temple, under a jackfruit tree. Another time, I and my friends were in a motel room and I saw a thing that morphed out of the dark n crouched on the floor. At first I thought my eyes playing tricks but then I saw it slowly rose up. So we grabbed our bags n ran the hell out of there.

Oh I know what you mean. I went through a phase where I told myself that it was just my imagination. Idk when I was little I was very curious about what I saw. And then in my teens I knew more about them so I started to get scared all of a sudden.

Hi, ladies!

Love your conversation so far, I definitely want to add something myself.

But sorry for the massive change of subject here, I just want to share the good news with you two first.

I got a call from the place I signed up for. I now officially have my own place! Yes, finally. It's only a student building, so I'll have to share a lot with other students, but still. That's what my money and expensive studies allows me to rent.

So excited! Getting more news tomorrow, such as about when I can move in.

Feel free to get back to what you were talking about. Just needed to get this out!!

Now only Faith needs to get a chance to move haha.

Good luck!!

Rie, I'm gonna start a Ceres-Jupiter thread in the Asteroid forum for us. Meet me there when you get time, k?

And hiya muddy!

You're so pretty, why am I calling you muddy?

I'm not in a cut n' paste mood, more in a bullet points frame of mind, so:

* Papa Saturn's "warm mud bath" cracks me up! What's extra funny to me is, now I'm arguing with myself, where half of me says, "That would be fun, to try that" and the other half says, "Are you CRAZY? Really? A warm mud bath...where is your dignity?"

Oh god now my curiosity is at the steering wheel, forcing me to look at mud bath pictures...

My Cap sun doesn't see how doing that would help my reputation at all...

So I guess, if I were to do it, it'd have to be the expensive, Rolls Royce mudbath...

^ "Mudbaths? Oh yeah, I have my own special mudbath tub with heavy duty pumps to extract all the mud afterwards, and a hand-held shower to wash down any remaining grit. The maids say it's easy to maintain!"

* Your memory of escaping from school to visit the tree with all the blossom scarves is so beautiful.

* I think I actually remember you mentioning Mr. Jackfruit before...I have a little file of random things people say about jackfruit, since I've never tasted it and I'm so curious.

As for the shadow, that is the scariest thing to me. Worst nightmares of my life involved these thin, pitch-black ghosts with tapered tails and eyeballs...I really believed in these evil spirits after dreaming about them, then years later I saw them in films...which probably means, someone else besides me saw them, either in dreams or real life, and documented it. Which freaks me out.

And that's what your shadow reminds me of.

Sometimes I see black spots...like a black orb...out of the corner of my eye. I'll be driving down the road and sometimes these black orbs seem to flash across the road right in front of me. It happens so fast, I could dismiss it, except it happens so often, and doesn't seem like a normal vision problem.

Who knows.

I posted some of my scary stories before but erased them after an hour or so, because they are kind of personal...like being "haunted" by my parents and parents-in-law. Most of the stories involve strange electrical disturbances, remote control toys running without anyone touching the controls, musical toys starting to play and light up in the middle of the night without anyone there to have set them off, things like that.

Just last week I was saying on the "Got cut off thread" that the vent fan over my oven turned itself on very dramatically shortly before I posted.

Friendly little poltergeists or something.

Handing the baton back to you, muddy, wondering if you're in the mood to tell me weird stuff. And Rie and other readers are invited...being solicited is more like it...as well.

I'll delete the mud creatures later, that is kinda disturbing to keep looking at. LOL

Hooray, normal hair again!

Gah, your stories are all so creepy!! That's got to be bad and super scary especially the first time.
Yeah, I get the "I'm just tired", "it was just the curtain, the window's open" kind of thing. You want to reassure yourself somehow.

I'll be right there. We have the sextile (my Ceres, your Jupiter) and I think a semi-sextile the other way around. Don't know how much minor aspects have effect with an asteroid, but I saw it was really tight.

Rie, best of luck with everything. Wow you’re gonna move during merc retro? Talking about living fearlessly lol. J/k. That is great news. Few things can beat having your own place. Ah, don’t we just love Jupiter transits.

Faith, I bet your new hairstyle looks fantastic. But still, having long hair is just so nice, why did you cut it <mourn> Well short hair is easier to maintain, that’s for sure.

Speaking of mud, I have never had a mud bath. I guess it would be lovely to roll around in mud n have fun like a little piglet. Your version of special mudbath tubs is indeed worthy of papa saturn’s approval lol although the poor maid probably wouldn’t like cleaning it.

You should totally taste jackfruit. If you can’t get it fresh then get the canned stuff. It’s very sweet, it has a slightly chewy texture and its scent is quite exotic and heady, like a lot of other tropical fruits.

There are other weird things that I often just (try to) ignore. Like fleeting glimpses and just weird “vibes”. I guess I have been actively “blocking” my mind so those things don’t “happen” often anymore. Sometimes it gets to the point where I don’t know if it’s real or it’s just me being silly. Mr. Jackfruit n the black shadow were just too “real” so I can’t really deny them n think of them as imagination.

Heh my father once told me of his encounter he was 7 year old. This was back in the 50s. He was playing in a storage house filled with old junks when suddenly those things just started to move on their own into a heap. There were sounds of giggle n laughter.

Wow, your hair is so gorgeous. So full and shiny! How do you even get it that long?? Love the shoulder-length cut, too, it suits your Cappy Sun. Classy (forgive me for using that word for Capricorn women 24/7 - they just look so professional even in casual clothes). You have this really composed air about you.

And still very young-looking. That's really nice.

So, yes, I've seen it!

... More rambling, I'm not ignoring you ladies' lovely posts, don't worry.

Today I had a meeting with my ADHD coach again, she gives NLP coaching (if you don't know what it is, it's about changing your thought patterns and ways to "de-program" your brain from negativity). Like before, it touched a lot of trauma from my childhood and sooo much came up. I couldn't stop crying. When she left for a moment, it got so bad I choked. All of my make-up was gone.

It was so bad I wasn't able to leave after our hour session. I sensed, "No, I can't leave yet, not going into traffic when I'm like this." So I got another hour (did have to pay for 2 sessions, yes) and that was what I needed. She did push me to snap out of it and think of what positive experiences I could draw from my problems. It was hard... I didn't want to force myself to change my feelings yet. But she meant well and we managed to get there.

I had a sheet with some of her notes from last time and I added all the important things she said to it. Gotta look at that every morning.

She had this really cool exercise to get back to positive feelings, though. Basically, she wanted me to go back to a point in my life where I felt carefree, happy and relaxed (as a child). This picture of me when I was 2 popped into my head right away. I'll try to describe it.

I'm in the back garden and we have this sandbox turned upside down that I'm sitting on. We also had an apple tree and the first apple that grew out looked so yummy. So I'm all, "I want that apple!" in that pic, all grabby hands and trying to get it. Even on top of the sandbox, I was waaaay too small to reach it. It was just so funny. I remember seeing that in one of my dad's photo books and his commentary.

She said that means I already had a lot of endurance and drive as a child, doing everything to get that apple. She also thought my dad was probably so happy seeing me trying to do something myself he had to take a picture of it.

What would you girls' pictures be?
Yeah, smiling again!

Is there something in the air today? All of these issues coming to light, moreso than at other times. It's the Cancer new moon ahead maybe?

I'm sad for you, Rie, reading about your session. Sounds like you have been through a ton of cr*p. But yes, your attitude now does match the picture when you were two! You are reaching for the resolution, just like you reached for the apple.

When was I happiest as a child? Thanks for asking...

Easily, it was on camping trips with my entire family. I don't have a photograph of it but once we were crabbing in Maine, off a very long, high dock...and it started thundering and lightning. So we all ran pell-mell back towards our van which was parked along one of the main streets...

The rain started coming down in torrents so we all scrambled to get under the awnings or roofs of the storefronts. I was EXHILARATED. What an adventure, everyone was wet, laughing at each other from our various posts.

Then I went into one of the stores and used my saved-up money to buy two gifts for my grandmother: a starfish and a tiny ship in a glass bottle. The lighting in that store was all golden, warmly incandescent lights shining against the cherry-colored hardwood floor. And it smelled divine in there.

Stepping back out with my little package, meeting my family again, knowing we were headed back to the camper together for a good dinner...perfectly content.

And I LOVE starfishes still, and ships-in-bottles.
