From Magus, quote: Thats just how it worked there- if even one kindred voiced that they didnt feel comfortable with someone being there, and gave reasonable explanation as too why, then it was a no go.
That was probably the only problem with the site that I can see, Magus. If one person with a grudge who didn't happen to like one of the people being considered for membership at KS had that much power over the rest of you, it was wrong and in hindsight, from what he said, I know AG would do it differently. It should have been based on a consensus of opinion rather than one or two voices. Lotus, I'm sure these people would love to let it go and move on but since you won't and others won't how can they? Why do they keep defending themselves, Lotus? Could it be because you keep attacking and accusing all of them of the wrongdoings of only a few? Just a guess. All I can say is to quote a very wise man who once said, " Let him without sin cast the first stone." Who among us has not at least once in our lifetime talked about someone behind their back? Even honest people who would also tell that person to their face get so angry at times that they discuss the person to friends. No one here is a saint and no one here is Jesus the Christ. So, even though I was one of those being discussed at KS by one or two people in an unkind way, as I stated, it is not something that isn't done on threads at LL too. I have had worse things said to me by Jwhop in GU at LL than at KS. All you have to do is look at the membership list at KS and then read those people's posts here at LL and you would easily see which ones were backstabbers and which ones are not into that. Even in the face of much verbal abuse by Jwhop aimed at him, AG did not lose his cool and he did not resort to name calling in return. I just wish my temperment would allow me that much grace. That alone tells me that a man like AG is just not capable of starting a site for the devious purpose of backstabbing and saying nasty things about people at LL behind their backs. We can't judge the whole group based on what only a very few members of KS did at times. That is the same as judging a whole race of people based on what a few do. Tink, what was said about you was worse than anything said about me or Pidaua. No justification for that kind of talk about a woman from a man. Shows total disrespect for women to say something like that. Even in anger it is not justified and I think all the other members of the group have stated they feel the same. IP: Logged |

Mirandee, to quote Tink - quote: thank heavens for clear headed people
Thanks. EDIT:
quote: All I've expressed is my dismay that people disparage Pid and Tink, and in the case of Tink in a pretty disturbed and dispicable manner, then try to justify it (which was what was done initially) by stating that the majority of the site is happiness and light and they just don't know what anyone is talking about.
To say that the vast majority of the site was good is not in any way a justification of Magus' words. No one here is justifying that - we're saying that the entire community shouldn't be judged by one boiling diatribe. quote: It creeps me out that anyone could defend a person that says that kind of disturbed crap to people, or who sees it going on and doesn't say anything (not referring to you Lei, I don't recall who was saying above what a generally ok guy he is when he's not going off like a psychopath)
Um, that was Tink, Isis. quote: You want to talk about bandwagons? There are what...at least half a dozen people here on your bandwagon, and two on "mine" apparently. How many people constitute a "bandwagon" these days?
Two? Are you serious? Or have you just not read this thread? Oh well, I'm leaving. IP: Logged |

Hey, it seems to work for Bush, Isis. Though, of course, I do agree with your statement. But in this case it was explained by AG why the site was deleted. Honestly when I found the site I took some time to read a few posts and it was just as those here have said, mostly just giving their thoughts on different topics and friends talking to friends about their personal life problems. I think it was the latter reason for deleting the site. Some of the things discussed there were personal and private and were divulged to entrusted friends in what was thought at the time to be a private forum rather than an open forum like LL. At the time I did not know the site was private otherwise I would have felt like I was "listening at the wall" and eavesdropping on a personal conversation. Which is abhorrable to an honest Taurean. Being of inquiring mind, thought I’d check out what a bandwagon constitutes: Anti-KS contingent – Pidaua, Lotus, Petron, writesomething, salome, jwhop, Tink, Isis KS contingent – Johnny, Zala, Fayte, AG, Lialei, pixie, sue g, Magus, cancerrg More or less neutral – DayDreamer, juniperb, mirandee, harpyr, rainbow, ozonefiller, Randall, Venusian Love, Elenore Of course, my placements may be biased IP: Logged |

I must have missed something, I didn't realize Jwhop even posted in this thread. And nobody was anti-KS. You need to read back through, on several pages, myself, even Tink, and mostly everyone else defends your right to start your own site. I even specifically stated my dismay was not aimed blanketedly at everyone. Like I said, I'm not going to apologize for getting up in arms at what was said to Tink. IP: Logged |

I wish my posts were still there. I said nothing I am ashamed of. Someone wanted to invite Pidaua. I said ok to Pidaua coming as long as she did not mind me being a democrat. I was there mainly to be able to talk about my lexigramming style/rules, instead of LG's. And to talk about the diversties of philosophical and religious thought. And past lives. Things I was ostrasized for going into in depth here at LL about. Lotus.. YOU are the main reason I joined. I needed somewhere to be able to speak out freely about lexigrams/religion/philosophy/history/past lives/gay issues, and more... without you jumping me every time I tried to say something. I was Moderator of The Theosophy and Religion. And For Beloveds from past lives and other non nasty, non mean things. And the moderator for Lexigrams and other word play. I said nothing there that I did not say here at LL when I spoke of people. In fact many of my KS posts I DID re-post here too! 99.9% of the posts by other folks there were normal nice and common forum stuff. No nastiness or anything like that. I did not approve of the nasty posts and excessive foulness. But it was their right and so I said nothing to them publicly, but did privately. I was called a prude by some and so just shut up about the foulness. But the foul posts were only a rare few. I mostly stayed in my "own"areas of the ones I mentioned. It is sad that so many very nice and lovely posts are gone. But folks were posting private stuff about health issues and family troubles there too. They did not want that out here for all to see. And Magus can be quite foul I agree. Sorry Magus but it is true. But that is no secret to anyone here is it? But except for not using the #$%^*X~ like here...he said his stuff straight out there. TINK..I Never said a word against you. Magus was not too happy about my defending you. But I had nothing against you and did not advocate his sometimes over the top expressions. But it was/is his right. And Pidaua..I stayed out of it when certain folks badmouthed you. But what you did here by exposing us was wrong. The two against you has been made clear already. To blame the rest of us for their actions and expose all of us because of them was coldhearted and thoughtless. I was rather surprised you did this. All of us there were not all kindreds with all there. But we tried to get along. usually we did. The meaness here at LL couched in sly sarcastic wordings and colorful metaphors in lieu of cussing has been too often far nastier than most anything ever said there to or about anyone. Rant over. Ahhh this thread is making me sick I seriously feel sick to my stomach reading some of the bickering going on, and especially what was said of Tink! Tink Im glad you're not as offended by what Magus said...he's said some pretty vile things to me before as well (and we've got the exact same birthday!). His words have nothing to do with you. He just has issues with himself and it's apparent that he needs to grow up, evolve himself, and get past his own damn selfish insecurities. Wish everyone can just calm down, and move on...but it looks like it will take more or less time for some of us (easy for me to say). IP: Logged |

Some of the transits we've been experiencing if anyone is wondering...This is from yesterday, June 16... Keep the faith! Life may take some unforeseen twists and turns as the Sun in Gemini opposes distant Pluto in Sagittarius (10:23AM PDT). Strange forces are already on the prowl due to a lunar void cycle from 1:25AM PDT until 9:06AM PDT (when the Moon enters Pisces). In addition, Mercury forms an awkward 150-degree pattern to Neptune (6:00AM PDT). Confusion and chaos seem to be mounting hour by hour. Without any doubt, you need to zero in on the Sun-Pluto connection and make the best of what may be a difficult situation developing on the romantic or business horizon. Keep everything honest, sincere, clear and aboveboard. Holding grudges, repressing emotions, spreading gossip and being duplicitous will boomerang. Tap into spiritual willpower and visualize yourself as a mover and shaker in society. Your skills as an amateur detective, psychologist and researcher are rekindled. Nevertheless, psychic thunderstorms are rife and interpersonal sharings carry a sharp edge. Pisces Moon helps you reach out to dear ones with empathy and understanding. Music, film and photography are in vogue. Try a new seafood restaurant for dinner and dance the night away. Get set for another 24 hours of growing turbulence, frustrations or delays as an extremely rare Mars-Vesta-Saturn union is about to take hold over the next 48 hours. http://horoscopes.astrology.com/astronet/cosmiccalyes.html Here’s the Sun-Pluto connection... The Sun opposes Pluto. Any power struggles you engage in today will be very revealing of deeper psychological motivations that you have previously chosen to ignore or disguise. If you've been experiencing difficulties or problems with someone close, this could be the day to get it all out in the open and clear the air, so you can rework the relationship to better fill the needs and desires of all concerned. http://www.artcharts.com/aspects/sun/oppPluto.html

Wonder if these convos drag on for so long because of LL's chart? And here's a headsup for tomorrow's (or today's) forecast, off of astronet ... Daily Cosmic Calendar The universe is becoming more curious and convoluted with each passing day. On Friday, the Sun and Pluto formed a very tense polarity across the zodiac. Last night, the two traditionally malefic planets -- Mars and Saturn -- came together for the first time in over two years. Now the red planet unites with Vesta in Leo (6:21PM PDT) while Chiron in Aquarius opposes Vesta (10:18AM PDT) and Mars (12:35PM PDT). By early tomorrow, the largest planet in the solar system -- Jupiter -- will square Mars and Vesta! To make matters more unpredictable and sensational, Uranus -- planet of surprises, shock waves and revolutionary changes -- will make a station and turn retrograde at 12:41AM PDT tomorrow. Under this bizarre cavalcade of celestial alignments, it is virtually impossible to move forward with much self-confidence. Feelings of insecurity are mounting. Adding to the uncertainty is a void lunar cycle from 7:09AM PDT until 11:55AM PDT (when the Moon enters Aries). The 7:09AM PDT time also doubles as the Last Quarter Sun-Moon Phase -- activating 28 degrees of Gemini and Pisces. You may feel the need to cut through obstacles that are turning you into a nervous wreck. The involvement of Chiron in today's proceedings is a reminder that alternative forms of healing and medicine may bring you welcome relief from pain and suffering. Meditate for peace of mind this evening as planetary mischief-makers are out in force overnight. IP: Logged |

Here's a blurb from Yasmin Boland: quote: If you've found out a cold hard fact or a tough truth about someone or something lately, you are just doing the Saturn/Neptune thing, a theme which is going on all year. Thoughout 2006, as he moves through Leo and meddles with Neptune, one of Saturn's main jobs is to reminds us ALL that while fantasies are wonderful, there's really nothing like reality ... At least it's real and even tangible! To quote three famous sages: "Knowledge is power" (said Sir Francis Bacon) and "The truth will set you free!" (said Jesus) and "The truth will set you free, but first it will p*ss you off"! (said Gloria Steinem) What truth where?
