I disagree with Jwhop often enough. He's never been hateful to me. Of course I don't think I've ever been hateful to him. Sometimes he does the You-hate-America thing a bit too much, but I've never seen a rant from him like the charmer Kiwigirl just dropped on our doorstep. (I remember talking to you once or twice Kiwigirl. I remember liking you. What happened?) And Jwhop is the sort of thing you all wanted to escape?? Maybe I am stupid.  IP: Logged |

Did someone say "eeewww" about Salome at KS? I don't remember seeing that, but if so, it is fair to say that she was involved, and that I was wrong to call her a busybody.

Come on people, can we just drop this?For crying out loud, none of us are perfect. Anyone can start a website these days for any reason they wish. So what is the big deal if some folks at KS who were a circle of friends wanted to start a private site? Actually has anyone noticed that Pidaua has had very little to say since she opened this can of worms? Here everyone is at each others throats and where is she? When I came across KS I did not post it here for everyone to see because frankly it did not bother me. Yet it would appear to have bothered Pidaua enough to post this. However, she must have gotten over it real fast because she has responded very little. So what was the real purpose of her posting this thread? Was it to get everyone here at each other's throats while she sat back and laughed about it? We all know Pidaua to be a very opinionated person. Why not many opinions on a thread regarding KS that she started because she was upset over what she stumbled across by googling her screen name? Not saying this is the way it is, just wondering at her absence on a thread she started which now has everyone fighting with each other, judging everyone from KS based on what only a few did, and beyond that not even having the grace to listen to their explanations when they are taking the time to explain things and answer your questions? It just seems curious to me that she is the one saying the least about something that supposedly upset her so much she decided to reveal the site here. Weird. IP: Logged |

as for defending Magus...
Do I have to go and find all the posts I made repremanding him about his over the top behaviours?
He can tell you how tough I was on him in private!
But you would not believe him.But I did tell him to cool it many times at the risk of him hating me.  I am not his frigging keeper Petron.
I did my bit many times and did the bossy mom bit and the honest friend bit at him and told him he needs to tone things down in "Public". If he chooses Not to...why blame me or any of the rest of us for that? I think most of his rants were just ignored because we know he just speaks off the cuff and likes being shocking. We just do not react to his wording much.
Yeah he could, and I agree..should express himself in a less crude manner. It would be better for him if he did. I told him that MANY times! But again...it is his choice and none of us at KS are there to change anyone. Unlike here where Lotus wants everyone to follow her and her delusions.
So Magus is not perfect. No one is. But we accepted him because he is not always like that nasty post. Like I said before...I wish the posts were still all there. Magus was nice and interesting most of the time. Yeah..he gets crude. But anyone here at LL already knew that.
How many times must I publicly berate him before you get it through your thick skull that I do not condone his cruder statements? And neither did everyone at KS condone it. But we saw the non crude side of him there. The musician, the poet, the dreamer...not just the cruderies. The nastiness here even though veiled in nicer word usage is just as vile. Viler in a way because it is sly and sacastic with deeper ugliness underneath and darker motives. And no I am not going to go about and gather the ugliness posts here at LL.
I could post alot of my posts here for all to see but oh man would most of it be boring to most. I barely got replies at KS! I am not very exciting there. I was pretty much usually on my own in the three forums I moderated. I posted to myself Alot.
So unless you want post after post on religions and philosophy and Lexigrams(which I am not allowed to discuss much here) and repeats of all the posts I did both at KS and here...then please back off.
It was not the Magus fan club ste.
He was just there like the rest of us.

I'm pretty much stuck with Magus either way. If I denounce him, then I'm betraying someone who's never said a thing against me, and who's pretty innocent and fun when not angry. If I embrace him I become as bad as him in people's eyes, which isn't particularly fair either.Perhaps, it's poor moral fiber to stand by a loose cannon. I've also committed atrocities by standing idly by watching racism in it's various forms whether jokes, workplace personnel, or living in a white city. I've hung with morally bankrupt sailors. I've had to be unethical in at least one job (though I was able to put my complaint on record). There's lots of horrible things I've seen and not acted on to correct. What's most painful for me personally is that I've always had a major thing for TINK. I think she's absolutely terrific and more fair and even than most. I'd think that everyone including Magus would know that by now. It does disturb me that Petron would go and find the most d&mning thing he could and forward it to TINK saying here's what AG's buddy had to say about you when he was ****** at you however many months ago that was. It sucks trying to be friends to people who don't want to be friends. Is it fair that something said in haste and in confidence should be disclosed to the person it was about? Anyone can easily make arguments for both sides of that argument. By Magus' actions I'd say that he was never looking to have an ongoing battle with TINK. He left LL, he went to Kindred for a bit, he left there, stayed gone for awhile, surfaced here again in Soul Unions (that I'm aware of), and showed up back at Kindreds for a bit. He didn't pursue or engage TINK that I'm aware of. So as much of a raging lunatic he might have been when he wrote that post, what is it backed up by? Continued harrassment? Looks like he took more of a live and let live stance. I don't know that anyone lives down the stupid things they say and do as long as someone grasps on to them. IP: Logged |

I don't even really know her but I saw that she was trying to tell the other side of the story and I admired her for that. Maybe if I was a Republican and agreed with everything you said you would see my honor and integrity, Jwhop but because I am one of those you see as the enemy you can't see it.
