I was happy to see people discussing whether I should be allowed to be a part of this "group" or not.

I guess it's lucky for me that I hate groups that exclude based on if one has too much fire or they're too conservative... LMAO... please people..

Be careful what you post... people that you thought had kind intentions are actually the ones that can't wait to stab you in the back.

Well, as long as some people feel like they are in the "special" crowd.

My favorite was the debate about whether to let me "in" or not...

"I've been friends and shared emails with both SGA and Pidaua, but I agree that they are extremely difficult to deal with in an argument because they are so confident that they are right (even when they're not). *I wonder if I come off that way.* "

Then AG goes on to state:

"No, we didn't invite Pidaua. I think everyone pretty much has mixed feelings about her myself included. "

Nice people... so full of love and light.. yet completely not surprising.

If you want to know how I found it... I was doing a plan search on my user name to see what would come up.

Christ... I almost want to puke thinking that some of those people acted human here only to salivate at banning people and making a list of who can and can't be invited.

Thank God for Randall and the Real LindaLand.

I will say this though - there are several people on the KS board that are on the up and up - I doubt Zala ever thought it would come to that- other people just took it and ran.

Hmmm.....

It looks like some was able to get to the page rather quickly and disable one from viewing the posts.

Good thing I have a list of the people...

Let's see.... who was debated on whether to join.. and who's a member allowing or not allowing people to join..

It was a forum where friends from here could get together and talk privately. Lindaland, while great, has no PM system and several members have had trouble with stalkers hanging out and spying on them. KS remedied this.

If it has just been closed, then I'm sure it was to protect the privacy of people who thought they could speak freely there.

I really don't mind not being invited, but I think what they said about fellow knowflakes being allowed to be on here based on what they posted on "gotta love those Leo's" or if they were a fire sign or not (that was my favorite.. "well we do need some fire.. but maybe not a leo") Lame!!!

Some of the pages come up- a list of the members - but I after what I read - only a few of them have any positive comments- the rest are like children in a clique deciding on who should and should not be able to play in their sandbox.

I used me as an example as to not bring others into this with hurt.

The site includes or excludes based on whether you have upset a certain number of people that "hold the cards".

90% of the posts about me were favorable. The thing is, I would NEVER be a part of that site because of the crap I read about other people. Jesus, because someone said something in "gotta love Leos" Or one doesn't like that another person has a tendancy to debate too much (and that wasn't said about me).

There were even a few posts about whether to invite based on if someone supported the war or not.

You can say what you want... but if you really want to get into closed societies.. hell you all got one right there.. and oddly enough..now the forums don't exist..

Tell me... are they gonna go in there and delete the discriminating threads? Make it look like happy horse-sh1t?

Hey have your fun little club... I am laughing at you.. and I am appalled at the comments made about my fellow knowflakes.. at least when we b1tch about someone we do it here or in a private e-mail.

KS was kinda like the party-room at a bar or restaurant, where just friends could gather -- is that so reprehensible?? It was also nice to be a little freer (raunchier?!?) of speech on various subjects without having to worry about offending the sensibilities of anyone, or whether there were under-18's around.

The biggest benefit is that we did not have to deal with people who keep reincarnating (I'm certain you will understand who I'm referring to)
Another pleasant factor is that most everyone was knowledgeable about astro, so we didn't have anyone popping in to ask "What's a North Node?" or "can you tell me who my soulmate is?"
And that everyone there has a skill or specialty area of knowledge/wisdom to share.

We knew it wouldn't last -- safe places seldom do.....

No way LMAO... Hey, I may be, as Lioneye so eloquently said "Bombastic" but I hate the exclusion thing. They would hate me as a moderator because I would allow anyone in and only ban based on a few criteria - if someone bashed one due to race, gender, sexual orientation or used astro-aspects against them or to demean them.

Well, I'm glad you don't feel left out then, Pid. There was no talk of banning or discrimination, though - the policy, if I remember correctly, was that anyone could be invited, as long as everyone else felt comfortable speaking openly in their presence. Is this unreasonable?

It wasn't a club or a clique.

I have a ton of respect for you and I am sure the intentions were on the up and up... but what I read was the exact opposite and the site was then used to discriminate. It's seemed the same old people here who have been wishing others would just shut up.. had the field day determining who and who would not be able to post.

Those had to do with people who mysteriously showed up at the forum without announcing themselves. When they just sat and lurked, some of us wondered if they were the same stalkers that we had left LL to avoid - and the Admin eventually decided agaist banning, after they made introductions and asked to stay. They had nothing to do with LL.

What you find offensive about a discussion of who would be invited is beyond me. It wasn't a behind-the-scenes bashing fest like you make it out to be.
