Good post, King Aragorn (I'm gonna miss that pic next to your posts) You said it much better than I could. The only polls I remember were the ones voting whether we should kick out p-e and AU since we didn't know who they were. I don't remember them being about anybody here at LL.....

I already detailed some of what I saw and the let's vote this person in and not the other was based on the opinions of those that didn't like what other's had to say. Maybe you advocate such cliques - I do not.

I understand the principle of not wanting people to re-invent themselves- hell we let that happen here far too often, yet the owner of this site does believe in giving chances until the person screws up again. I don't think you meant for anything to be malicious at all- again I have the utmost respect for you and know, as many here do, that you have only good intentions- you've never strayed from that. Please don't think I posted the site to hurt you.

I don't recall anyone being not invited based purely on what they had to say. I would not advocate exclusion of that sort, either. In fact, it would strike me as a conspiracy, now that you mention it!

There were several people whom I would have liked to invite so that I could talk to them more freely, but didn't - not based on what they had to say, but based on how others, already there, who appreciated the site as a place they could be among friends and away from those they felt already disliked them for whatever reason, felt. That was the way things were done.

It was set up so that everyone would be comfortable. Not to be a clique, whose membership was dictated by a snobby in-group. I think you've formed a bit of a snap-judgement.

And I met some great people there, whom I might not otherwise have, like 'Zala.

Makes my heart hurt..that they can't SEE..how they are..I'm crying over all this..and I really would like to know who used my name..
