I don't really know how to respond to a statement like that. No offense, Salome, but I don't even know you. In fact, I think this is the first time I've ever even talked to you. The majority of my friends from LindaLand were on KS, anyway, so I'm not sure what the point of defending myself is, in the first place. Why are such immediate judgements being made here, without knowing?
It wasn't anything like the conclusions being drawn. There was much love and gentleness there. And Lotus...quit with the dramatics. (tears, tears, tears). Why do you always try to disgrace others to better yourself?
Maybe you didn't sign up today? who knows? Some cosmic joke on you? who knows....breathe, ok? Petron, my name isn't on the members list, but I didn't take myself off, so don't assume people deleted themselves out of fear. These are wonderful, loving people, so please try to keep an open mind, before you judge. We're all hopefully well evolved beyond a 'burn the witch!' attitude on June 16, 2006.

Came back to join my blind as a  friends….. oooooh, and just in time for the  pack…..The assumptions flying around in this thread make me unhappy, but to each their own perceptions…..

Okay, I have known about KS for some time now. I googled my screen names one day, I have 2 screen names, one here and one at CE. Just wanted to see what came up. When Kindred Spirits came up and it read under it, "Mirandee and HSC?" I went to the site and read the posts. It was only SueG bad mouthing me and also you, Pidaua. Everyone else said some nice things about me. I believe if I remember correctly SueG referred to you as "piddlepants," in one of her posts, Pidaua. But she was the only one doing it. Maybe there were one or two others but not any of the ones on this thread now. Not Zala, not Fayte, not Lailei, not AG and not Johnny. Obviously someone must have recommended that I join the site because SueG ( she is banshee at KS and oddly enough not on the members list now ) was adamant about me not joining. She said she did not feel that I was a kindred spirit to her. She has no idea how happy I was to hear that  SueG has a grudge and she acts it out at LL too so no surprise there. Rolls right off my back like water on a duck. I didn't mention anything at all about KS because looking at the members list most of the ones on it that I know from LL are very nice people. Really I think you all are making too much of it. I feel as you do about exclusive cliques, Pidaua. Don't want any part of them and didn't in high school either. In high school I had friends from all the different groups that hung out together. However, there are cliques here at LL too. People who are friends and email each other. As Johnny said, there is really no difference than friends at a site emailing each other than starting a site of friends who as AG and others explained, wanted to talk in privacy. Though it isn't true that nothing bad was ever said at KS about people here, but again, it was only one or two people at KS doing that. On the whole I saw nothing objectionable about the site. There are groups of friends at all sites like this who email, talk on the phone and on private message programs. No difference than starting a site and the fact that they did suggest others for membership shows they were willing to allow new members. Maybe in hindsight the voting on the new members was not a good idea if one or two people could nix that person nominated. I don't see anything wrong about this or that it was dishonest. At GU every time I post something I know in advance who is not going to like my posts and who is going to come in calling me names and putting labels on me. So there is a clique of friends here too. Lotus, stop being a hypocrite. You are the worse one for insulting people and telling them how spiritually superior you are to them. So don't try to tell me or anyone else here that you don't talk about me and others here at LL in emails behind our backs. IP: Logged |

Lotus you soo remind me of my Taurus sun, aries moon mother. She was pretty teed off today as well over nothing much more than a suggestion on how she could improve her self (health in her case)....she's extremely stubborn and doesn't take advice kindly...I think it's a fixed sign complex. (it's crazy, when shes angry, she starts tapping her feet, like a bull ready to charge!!...it's cute)  My mother is very dogmatic, and is constantly preaching to me....if anything her preaching makes me want to run the other way (and I always put up a front like Im doing the opposite of what she wants me to do.) But it doesnt work that way because the spirit is just inherent in me, and like everyone else. Sometimes people need gentle reminders, but continuously telling others that they are wrong and need to listen to you doesnt work. Once is enough...beyond that is imposing your will onto others who already have their own will. Sometimes I do think my mother is jealous of me, and is speaking out of anger and her ego...Not going to go into that detail. I like to pretend she isn't at all. IP: Logged |

Indeed. It was a hard thing to balance, because I think everyone wanted more members, but some wanted total agreement, too. I've got lots of friends here I was dismayed I couldn't invite. IP: Logged |

I personally dont really have a problem with you. But think about it...how would it feel if you had someone always on you telling you that you are wrong, and have not found the truth and must go within? How are you trying to help by constantly saying this?...Is it working? IP: Logged |

Lotus, you are just using this thread as another means to judge others, moralize and paint yourself as better than anyone else. In fact having to listen to you when you hi-jack threads all the time and use them as a means of moralizing, judging others without even knowing them, and telling us that you are the only one in the world who goes within, makes me want to start my own private site of normal, rational people.
