I'd been checking back here for an update on your thread, Celtic! Yea, this is good news. I have a friend for whom it took 4 years of slowly building trust for the relationship to finally gel and come together, and it finally has! He's a Cap. and she's a Taurus; he's seemingly of this commitment fear variety too, with a previous divorce. So, patience is the key!

Well, let's hope this continues...Guys keep your fingers crossed. Friday I was up at the sation and we seemed to have alot of unforced time in conversation. He came over Saturday and helped me with my DVD recorder set up and he got to watch the episiode of "24" that he missed and we went to a movie together and came back to my house and saw another movie. I also gave him a butt massage...LOL...not as sordid as it sounds but massage is one of the things I am good at and he appreciates that in me and has benefitted more than once from it and he was really having muscle spasm issues in his butt of all places due to some over zealous workingout..so I offered and he took me up on it if I had pushed it I know I could have turned it into something more but I didn't I kept things in his court so he would feel comfortable. So he e-mailed me the next day and said that he had fun he also asked me not to say anything to the two girls on his Friday nite crew about it because they have been nosy and gossipy about things and he told them to stop. One apologized one hasn't so we will see. I can tell you if anything causes this to go south it won't be because of me-- outside influences will-- that had something to do with it before and now he's asking me for both our sakes not to say anything and I said of course (i mean your asking the most secretive sign of the zodiac to keep things mum---no problem there dude..LOL)So I continue to tread lightly and keep the ball in his court.

This sounds like really nice development.
I am so glad you JUST gave him the massage, and naven't proceeded on to "you know what". It is good to just give him a hint of what may come, like some kind of anticipation, so that he keeps coming for more, and not just get everything on the plate at once.
I don't suggest you play games, but it is good to take it slowly, to build up some kind of rapport and intimacy before the deed. Of course, if he pounces on you next time, don't resist it, hehe...

Celtic dear, I’ve been a bit absent from these forums of late, but I wanted to drop in here and see how you were doing… and whow! : ) I am SO happy to see that things are going so well for you. It’s about time your crab has decided to stop scuttling away!

Based on your last post, I tend to think that it was these two gossiping ninnys that precipitated his flight him away in the first place. We crabs are highly subject to embarrassment in the workplace. We keep a very tight line between our private lives and our public lives. I’m inclined to think that people questioning or teasing your crab might have made him run away, especially since he’s in a leadership roll. I know if I were in his situation I would be incredibly worried about the ethics of getting involved with a co-worker, especially if other people found out about it. I would worry that they would question my decisions and accuse me of playing favorites. It might make me skittish as work is incredibly important to me (work is synonymous with security for us Cancers). So yes, definitely stay in stealth mode at work. Even more so if you guys do start pursuing a relationship again.

I’m very very happy for you, mostly because I know how much this fellow means to you. All I can say is… he’d better treat you better this time! You really deserve the best.

i think , we cancers are here bcos of celtic .
and if i say , celtic , over a period of time has become one of the most fav. lady , i dont think any one of the crabs would disagree with it , will you ?
she is indeed , a dream woman .
i have felt her joy , i have felt her pain . i have prayed for her ( i never do it for anyone , i am too selfish ) and always wished her well whether the things went her way or not .

I admire her determination and loyalty, and the depth of her feelings for "her Crab". That's why I am so transfixed with this story, whatever happens, it is the lovely thing to feel.

I mean, instead of running to see the latest series of "Lost", I run to the computer to see if there is any news from Celtic's front!!!

okay that worked. well, I have run out of steam for details gang after typing it 3 times...things are going well with my crab ,tho at a crab's pace and I am patiently goung with the flow. Well lets see if I can encapsulate the events of the last week. Well he and I have been having this e-mail tete a tete which I have been very very subtly trying to seduce him which Monday night he called to say that he was having fun with it but that "we both had to be a work tomorrow" and "I needed my rest" after 2 1/2 hours of sleep Friday night at the station and working all day Saturday and going to a concert Saturday night where I couldn't find my car in the parking lot afterward...I called him and he asked how the concert was and I told him it was very good and it was fun except that now my car was lost (this never happens to me)He offered to come rescue me except that logicaly by the time he got to where I would be the concert traffic would have thinned and my care would have surfaced I told him of course but if he stayed on the phone with me it would be like he was there and I wouldn't be alone so he did and about 20 minutes later I found my car. Sunday I was at the station and bored out of my mind and I sent this silly e-mail expressing how bored I was and for him to please "write back soon"---I didn't expect a visit. We had gone to get dinner and bring it back...when we returned he and his girls were there. He offered this excuse of "we had to get out of the house and we got pizza and brought it here to eat and ther is some left over if you want any"--now I could be wrong but did that seem like a very Cancerian excuse as to why they were there ---or not?? I think that is all of the latest

Had a little lunch date with him today and on Saturday I'll be taking his daughter for most of the day so she doesn't have to spend it at the Fire station since he has duty on Saturday as well as friday night...so things are definitely looking up
