Pfft. I don't care. Here. Actually, the more I read about her (I read about the horse pose, and the Kim Kardashian pose, and laughed my @ss off when that was going on)...I think I love her. Eta: Eh...I suppose maybe that's a bit much for LL, maybe I should take that down...anyway, no I don't mind, Faith. IP: Logged |

No, see, that's probably why I'm not that familiar with what she does. I don't really watch TV (unless the Dead Files counts, or the local news). Jeez, I can barely stomach reading the news. So unless it involves David Lynch, Russell Brand, or Tim Burton, there's a high chance I have no idea. But yeah, she's funny. Totally my brand of humor, absolutely. IP: Logged |

I think I get enough Daniel Tiger and Super Why to last, though. That's pretty much what plays in our house...not that I could stomach much more than that anyway. Edit. I'm talking a LOT about myself here. IP: Logged |

I like when you talk about yourself. And David Lynch is interesting! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Lynch I wanna read his book on TM. And I really should watch Dune again. My brothers had the script memorized I think, and I grew up listening to snippets of that movie all the time...having no idea what they were talking about, it annoyed me. IP: Logged |

Yeah, I really want to read that as well. He's interesting, for sure. At least to my way of thinking. Bella, I visited Phoenix once, and ended up going out to the mountains to Superstition Mountain, and it rained (it was May), and I thought it was one of the most beautiful places, in its way. Phoenix sprawl, not so much. But at least there are mountains nearby? IP: Logged |

I've always wanted to spend a lot of time in Sedona. I loved it there. I miss it. PS If I ever ask a nosey question that you'd rather not answer, no worries about ignoring me! IP: Logged |

That's what they always say about where I grew up. Aaaannd it looks like this (this is an actual picture of the area). Trust me when I say that a "dry heat" does not make 100 degrees any more pleasant (although it's not as hot as where Bella lives!). I'll be moving out to where the summers are humid, so I guess I'll compare notes when I get there. IP: Logged |

The more humid heat always seemed sort of appealing to me, honestly. But then, I can't work very well outside in the heat, regardless of humid or arid. So there won't be any gardening getting done if it gets too hot. I'll just sit around fanning myself, saying "Ah do declare..." IP: Logged |

Even if they live on the Mississippi? Hahahaha. Yeah, you're probably right. I don't think I would do a very good job of fitting in if I went that route. IP: Logged |

I remember being in Dallas. I don't think I could call it better or worse. The humidity of the Midwest makes you miserable anywhere. Subtle movements is like hot yoga. The dry Dallas heat was somewhat bearable in a good shady area. But in direct sunlight? Get the spatula and peel my fried @ss off the ground. IP: Logged |

Eh... My husband tells me that everyone has an enclosed porch (at least with screens) so they can sit outside in the summer without being eaten alive by the bugs, and that everyone also has iced tea handy pretty much at all times. He lived there for a short while, and that's what he says, anyway. Whatever, I'm looking forward to the change. I packed one box today...maybe I'll get super ambitious and pack one more. IP: Logged |

Well here's the way I think of it.... If you are out west it's like you have a blowdryer blowing hot air in your face. If you are here in the southeast it's like you are in a steam room when you are outdoors in the summer. Now both of those sound unpleasant but if you had to choose one or the other which would you choose? You'd prolly choose having a blowdryer blowing hot dry air in your face over walking around in a mosquito infested steam room. IP: Logged |

I don't have a screened-in porch, but I do drink alot of sweet tea. A woman I used to know called me sweet tea because I always had a glass of tea when she saw me. IP: Logged |
