The Toronto Sun reported that Xia, a spokeswoman for the company, said that in her experience Scorpios and Virgos are often "feisty and critical." Xia said, "I hired people with those two star signs before, and they either liked quarrelling with colleagues or they could not do the job for long."She preferred potential applicants who were born under certain constellations, such as Capricorns, Libras and Pisces. To some it may seem like a bad joke, but it's not funny to qualified applicants desperate for a job who get turned away because of the company's credence in astrology. It's not the first time an employer has come under fire for zodiac sign discrimination. In 2009 an Austrian insurance company advertised, "'We are looking for people over 20 for part-time jobs in sales and management with the following star signs: Capricorn, Taurus, Aquarius, Aries and Leo."
http://www.livescience.com/17291-astrology-job-discrimination-china.html I guess it makes sense if the Chinese also use Western astrology. Pretty confusing though.

How did you find your year specific number? Just use 2015 instead of what year you were born? IP: Logged |

I can move anywhere because I'm a Capricorn. Hopefully they aren't smart enough to see my SN in the 10H. But ya know, I really DO want to see astrology applied more often in every aspect of life. For example: On the TV show Married at First Sight, three couples were paired together to meet at the altar before their wedding. Two couples had suns that were tightly trine, the third couple was Cancer & Aquarius (don't cringe too bad, you Aquas.) The trine couples are still happily married and Cancer/Aqua was a disaster. Gee we are so shocked about that. I wonder if an astrologer was involved or if it was sheer coincidence. IP: Logged |

Hm...so if I'm reading that right, mine goes like this: Year--Wood Rabbit Month--Earth Tiger Day--Water Tiger Time--Earth Monkey Eh...not sure if I'm doing that right or not. Our day is supposed to be our "hidden" selves, eh? See how no one suspects the Tiger that lurks beneath the calm Rabbit exterior, BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! *cough... I'm not even sure what Tigers are supposed to be like. Eta: Wait...one site said that my day was Dragon, and another said Tiger. Hrmphh. IP: Logged |

I'm not sure. How do you find that out? I mean, I can add up my birth year, but how can I find out what number this year will be for me? IP: Logged |

Add 2015 to your day and month of birth, and reduce it to a single number. 2(month)+7(day)+2015= 17= 1+7= 8 IP: Logged |

Ahoy! February 25 here, so it will be a number 8 for me as well, yay! So, uh...what does that mean? I always thought the number 8 was kind of scary and Saturn-ish, or fated, after reading Linda's Star Signs? In other news, Saturn will be at the apex of my T-square within a couple of months, conjunct my NN and square my Sun/Moon. IP: Logged |
