Aha! I was wondering if it was a new moon. *breathes sigh of relief* I've been carting some seriously crap energy around for the past few weeks, and I've felt it really starting to lift, finally. Real estate guy was here today, and our house should be on the market by Wednesday. Better start packing again, for real. I think we just squeezed in before Mercury goes Rx, yes...? IP: Logged |

Also, Faith...I meant to tell you that I'm sorry I didn't realize that you were honestly having a hard time with our telepathic music connection. I thought you were joking, but I understand how sometimes weird Neptune stuff can feel pretty mind-blowing. I understand that so well. Sorry if I was joking when you were being serious. If it makes you feel better, I seem to only tune into music with you, and to me it seems that we're simply on the same page (we often have entirely different reasons for posting songs, but I think it's a pleasant sort of connection to have, personally). Probably because it's not squaring your Sun and Moon in your natal while transiting over your Sun. He can be cool and fascinating and then suddenly hand you the monkey's paw, and be all like "Hey, have three wishes on me, friend!" Hrmphh. IP: Logged |

^^ That was awesome.
Violets, no worries (!!!) I am completely grateful for the experience. I was thrown off a bit, but it's not your fault and I don't really mind getting my head thrown in a blender now and then anyway. It just takes me a little time to process things. I'm glad we were laughing about it from the start. Best wishes with the sale of your house! And I'm still giggling at that gif. hehehehe IP: Logged |

Maybe not..... But keep in mind I do have Neptune conjuct mercury and uranus and they trine my moon. I also have sun, venus, and saturn in the 12th so i'm familar with neptunian energy. In my opinion neptune isn't ever really harsh like Saturn or Pluto even when it's hard aspect to other planets. I've always like neptunian energy, especially in synastry. IP: Logged |

Faith--Thanks, hehe. Now I have to go run some very lame errands (the closest place to buy clothes conveniently here is the outlet mall, so I end up buying a lot of clothes from Gap, which I normally would not). So it's back to Gap I go, to return the clothes I bought that didn't work out, and try not to show my horror when I hear music that I LIKE being played overhead. Now that we're moving out to serious Bumpkinville, I suppose I'll be far less concerned about what I wear. I'm already sort of rocking the middle-aged mom outfit of jeans, army green jacket, and boots. And a Subaru. So whatever. I'm not a hipster anymore. Goodbye, Hipster Self. You were fun, but way too preoccupied with clothes. Okay. That was my weird, random blurt for the day, I guess. IP: Logged |

Your Neptune influences do sound really nice, actually. Mine are sort of...erm...trying. But I still appreciate some of the cool stuff that happens with the transits. IP: Logged |

I've never seen you talk "random crap," Violets-- it's always interesting to me. Besides... And guess what, I was also shopping for clothes today! We are such twins Only, I didn't find anything I wanted. I have my heart set on a long, chunky sweater with a belt to wear like a jacket on mild days...I swear everyone has one in this area...except me. Cannot find one in stores. Neptune... Uh, AG, is your Neptune on my sun? 15 Cap. I just know because you were born a month after my mother died and Neptune was on my sun then. Not to be grim. If your Neptune is on my sun we should have telepathy, too. I don't know how to test it out, though. IP: Logged |

Clothes shopping high-five, Faith! I've been looking for something similar on eBay, but more like a thick, oversized men's fisherman sweater that I could use sort of like a jacket on autumn days. No luck yet. I had to return a few things, buy some more things, and then go back and return some more. I'm not sure what the deal is, but I really dislike trying clothes on in the store. I live close enough to just buy what I like in the size that I think will fit, and if it doesn't work, just return it. It's SO much easier to try clothes on at home. I got some cheap-ish ankle boots and cheap-ish lace-up "combat" boots, two cardigans, a black and white striped sweater, and a red plaid button up that is very similar to AG's coveted lumberjack shirt. So I guess I scored, considering everything was at least 50% off. Oh, and pajamas (which I never buy), and workout pants so I can lose some of the weight I gained from not smoking and eating too much pumpkin pie over the holidays. Wow, I'm really on about clothes tonight, sorry. Uranus is inching up to trine my Asc again, so this has been happening a bit here and there. And t Jupiter conjunct my Asc has taken me from being that person who always hears "You're so SKINNY!" as if it's a compliment, to moving up almost two sizes. One size would have sufficed, Jupiter. -__- *cough* Er...carry on. IP: Logged |

LOLI'm still here...it's been the longest day ever. I also gained a whopping 8 pounds in two months...which, if I kept up that rate, would make me quite fat in a year. For the first time in my life I have a bit of pudge. I have this horror movie look on my face when I see it. Like it's an alien attached to me, since it couldn't really be me. I'm jealous...your clothes sound cute and I couldn't figure out what to buy. I also hate trying stuff on at stores. Uranus is square my sun, that's another reason I'm feeling so weird. I felt really awful tonight because my friend asked for astrology advice, and I gave it, and of course things are not going well now, and I'm pretty sure she thinks I gave her false hopes or bad information. And maybe I did. Which makes me feel very horrible...I mean, no matter how much I stress that I am just an amateur and this is only for fun, people don't take it that way. I feel so guilty. Usually I don't admit this kinda thing but it's so late my judgement is poor. Will delete tomorrow G'night! IP: Logged |

Aw, man...I hope you won't be too hard on yourself. You can't help it if people take it too literally, or go overboard with it. And I know what you mean about having a small bit of extra for the first time! I mean, I went from being unhealthy skinny to now probably being pretty normal, but...eh. I think I would prefer to trim down just a bit. There's a little too much "extra" for my liking, but I can live with it, if it just won't go. I guess. -__- I hope you wake up feeling refreshed and loved. G'night! I'll probably edit in the morning as well. Ps Say, Jupiter probably hit your Asc not long ago as well, eh? Well, he has to shove off at some point... IP: Logged |

Yesterday evening it was really nice outside so I went for a walk around the neighborhood with one of my neighbors, he's an older guy I talk to from time to time. Anyways... I decided to ask him his birthday and time of birth and he told me so I pulled out my smartphone and looked up his chart. It turns out he is a Taurus sun with: Taurus ascendant, Scorpio moon, Taurus Mercury,Gemini venus, and Pisces mars. I read off descriptions of some of his placements and he was amazed by how accurately most of it described him. He said he wants to tell him more about it later. I really like when people take an interest in astrology. IP: Logged |

Aw I feel better after you said that Violets. Thank you Yeah Jupiter in my first house...wow, expansion! I guess I will leave it up there, what I said last night. My friend is going through a rough time...she and her man have sun-Neptune-MC exact in their progressed composite and they are both like, "Are we kidding ourselves or is this the most beautiful thing ever, worth making sacrifices for?" Which....is kinda predictable with that chart. What freaked me out is that I predicted he would take a defining step in the relationship this coming Thanksgiving when the sun was in early Sagittarius. He took a dramatic step (that she is quite in turmoil about) exactly when the moon hit those degrees of Sagittarius. I knew it was a hot spot. Furthermore he made this move when the sun was exactly on his ascendant. So I would like to be able to say, "Astrology is bogus, laugh about it with me, let's all just laugh this off" but the charts are so revealing and so mathematically precise...it's hard to dispel the air of certainty they seem to give. :/ I am like an astro-holic, I would love to quit but it's way too late for me. It's almost 11 am, too soon for wine and drinking my blues away. IP: Logged |

I could just edit my post above to include this comment, but I am pushing for 1,000 posts on this thread. I can't tell which would be more exasperating: a) My situation, where my spouse does not want to hear one iota about astrology or b) Having a spouse that believes in astrology. It's really annoying when I know something is going on with my husband astrologically and cannot use that information to move things forward. But it would be so annoying if the tables were turned and he used astrology on me. "Well, Faith, I'm not surprised you blew a gasket with your Mars square moon that I've been living with all these years, and transiting Mars turning your t-square into a grand cross! *snicker*" How do astrologically aware couples even manage? I would think they'd both have to agree to a kind of dogmatic approach to it just to keep a level playing field. IP: Logged |

It seems one is usually more casual about it than the other even when both are accepting of it. But perhaps one astrologer per house is all there is room or need for. Jupiter is heading back wards at the moment. .not leaving Leo till August...my birthday I think! So my solar return will have Jupiter conj merc/pallas/regulus. Im good with that I had a friend once who was in a miserable relationship with a con man who was emotionally very abusive. She asked me to tell her when it would be over and I said "when your thinking about it changes"... she didn't like me suggesting that but as it happened just when she took conscious control of her side of the equation, he keeled over and died (he'd been ill awhile). When they first got together she had inherited some money which he spent most of and she was hanging on for years for payback. When she realized it was never going to happen she was free but because he was failing she let him stay and started getting on with her own life. Cleaning up his stuff she found a shoe with several thousand dollars stuffed in it! Enough to set up her own business and find a better place to live, tho nowhere near what he had glommed off her it was a great windfall! IP: Logged |

That's awesome!! I know what you mean about really enjoying it when people take an interest, but it rarely happens for me. That might be because I don't trust my knowledge enough to really bother anyone about it, but my mother in-law likes it. My husband will sometimes listen to me...I think he understands that there's plenty of validity to it, but he basically just chooses to not concern himself with it. IP: Logged |
