Where was the jab? Barb made a valid observation. Once you curse at an employee, you pretty much lose your argument. No offense to AG, but employees don't have to put up with verbal abuse. Now, everyone, back on track, or I will close this. IP: Logged |

I disagree....
When I worked at a pizza place when I was a teenager my boss always taught me that the customer is always right. The fact is she was being rude and had an attitude towards me and was just acting unprofessional in general. And I was not being verbally abusive towards her... I just said "i'm just trying to order a f*cking pizza". Regardless of whether using the f-word was right or not she was still rude to me first and hung up on me, which was totally unprofessional. As I already mentioned I worked at a pizza place when I was a teenager and I answered the phone and I had to deal with all sorts of stuff but I never hung up the phone on anyone and my boss would have jumped my sh*t if I had ever done that. This woman is supposed to be a manager and those in leadership positions should be held to higher standards. As for Barbie.... I think the others are starting to notice that she follows me around and disagrees with everything I say to start arguments. I could say the sky is blue and she would make it a point to disagree with it.IP: Logged |

I would rather not close this. Barb has every right to close a thread when she or anyone is attacked. Yes, generally the customer is king or queen, but that doesn't mean employees have to put up with verbal abuse.IP: Logged |
