About Sephora, the people are often knowledgable about the products, but DO NOT I repeat DO NOT get a makeover from them. I have seen their work, and it is the stuff of nightmares.

!!! Kinda reminds me of my Aquarius sun/Pisces Mars brother.

It's hilarious how they set this to music...but ya know what, I agree with his advice to young people:

* Live in the moment
* Don't get old
* Don't judge people because you can't be free if you judge people
* Love now, create, inspire

"What other advice do you have for us?"

"That you're already doing...you're always doing what's in your heart. You can't get away from your heart."

And when he yells, "I love all of you!" it's the first time everyone turns and looks at him. I guess that kind of statement gets attention? Or it was his volume and throwing his arms out.

I'm not a germophobe, not too much, but public makeup "buffets" are skeevy to me, and I wouldn't submit to getting smeared with little petri-dish containers of rouge.

*shudders*

But I need eyeshadow advice! I've been stuck in this infernal loop of repetitive stupidity: I can't commit to the idea of wearing eyeshadow, so I just buy cheap little containers to play around with, and they have the consistency of dust once applied, and just rain down on my eyelashes and torment my eyes. So I say, "I hate eye shadow!" but then I see Possibilities when I look at other women who resemble me and pull it off rather well.

Summary: What eyeshadow do you recommend?

I see you are on Neptune with PD. I am jealous. Maybe AG can write me a ukelele ballad about that. hint hint

Love the light therapy, Faith. Have you ever tried it? Sitting behind this screen with big, super bright lights and all.

As for eyeshadow, a good brush helps! The ones with a sponge instead of hair may be easier? Primer before applying the eyeshadow works, too, at least for me, makes the powder stick to the eyelid more. If all of that doesn't work, maybe cream eyeshadow? Or just using your fingers, if you don't feel gross about that.

Be jelly no more, lover.

I'll be back for eye shadow stuff. Rie gave you great advice- you need two brushes at least (one for overall color, one for smaller application) and primer will help make it last longer.

Have to ask you a few questions though, like skintone, eye shape, etc.

Thank you, girls. I love having Snake friends, they always know the deal with cosmetics. Never thought of primer before. And I thought brushes were better than sponge but...I dunno.

Never tried light therapy as you described Rie...but our country house has a cathedral ceiling with tall windows to let in extra light...even when it's dim out, we catch so much light in the house. I love that ~ I know the value of it.

Ok, Faith

1) What current eyeshadow products do you own

2) What is your skin tone (warm or cool)

3) Eye shape and how large your lids are

4) Colors you prefer to wear

Please, AG, a ballad for me. Someone has to pay tribute to my Pain about losing PD to Bella. You saw the whole thing. Only you can sing my blues away.
