Oh..
Last night I went out with my friends and guess who I saw? The love of my life (up to this point*)! She was with another guy and as far as I could tell she seemed happy, I don't think she saw or noticed me. I have to admit that seeing her with another guy messed with me a little bit but I did not let it ruin my night or depress me too much. It was just weird because I hadn't seen or spoken to her in a few years and I honestly thought I would never see her again.

Rhee was the Korean Grand Champion. Parker trained Elvis in CA, and Rhee was his trainer in Memphis for four years. No argument there.

Happy for you, Bella!

Violets,

I love that picture, her hair looks cute!

Draconic is supposed to be, what you innately were, before your parents and environment shaped you. Your essential nature.

Alyssa Sharpe's video that T posted was pretty good: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tbFWT8SYxE

No worries,
I'm not losing sleep or stressing over it. It was just a shock to the system pretty much. Hell, maybe I needed to see her like that. In all honesty I have always kept the door open for her, atleast in the back of my mind. Maybe this will allow me to finally close that door and really move on. Or... Maybe it was an omen that she will come back into my life someday. I don't know.... I just know i'm not gonna lose sleep or dwell on it. It is what it is.

I know...I was laughing about the assumption that all parents are forcing their children to go against their nature.

ETA: My brother's NN is on the Aries Point so his draconic chart is the same as his natal chart. And my mother always said he was so perfect. Funny coincidence.

Faith,
From the sounds of it you and him ran in the same circles so it's not a surprise that you ran/run into him. The thing about me and this girl was we have no mutual friends, so us running into each other like that was weird. The thing is she does not even live in Tn. I met her when I was spending the summer with my uncle in Florida, that's where she was living and still lives as far as I know.it was a summer romance type thing and we maintained a long distance relationship when I came home. I promised her that I was going to return to Florida and stay for good but I needed time to save money and make arrangements. She was skeptical and was convinced that I was going to meet someone else in my town before I moved down there to be with her so she pretty much shut me out of her life and that's the story more or less. I think her insecurities stemmed from losing her dad when she was really young. She even told me as much... She said "Everything/everyone that I love always gets taken from me". I think that's why she made up her mind that I was going to cheat on her and/or leave her eventually and cut me out of her life. I guess in her mind she was speeding up the inevitable. That's why it was so weird to see her here in my area last night. I mean what are the chances of that?

I've actually told people before that the only way I knew how to cut off my ex-soulmate was, because my mother had died.

It was..."I know how to endure total heartbreak. So! Here we go again."

I'm really sad for your ex...mainly it's just empathy about losing a parent I guess...it makes you do weird things people don't understand.

But I hate that there is someone out there loving her as much as you do and she doesn't know it and can't feel it. :/

OTOH...Maybe it's not that weird afterall... I mean Gatlinburg is a tourist town and popular vacation spot. But it's still kind of odd that we ran into each other.

Yea,
I guess I can understand that. The sad thing was I never even thought about any other girl but her. Other girls just didn't exist.... I didn't see them.. And I was fully committed to leaving my life here to be with her. And to this day I've never met anyone else that I connected with the way I did with her. Nothing's come close to what we had. We talked for hours on the phone and never ran out of things to talk about and when we did have silences they weren't awkward. Another thing was we never fought! I'm serious! I can't recall us ever having a fight. Things were always harmonious and went smoothly.

Yes it is. Nobody has ever made an emotional impact on me the way that she did. I have liked other girls but I never really had a problem getting over them. After things ended with her I went into a deep depression for over a year. That's really cool! Although I doubt I would take her back if she wants to come back into my life when i'm 40+. I just couldn't see myself myself doing that knowing my ability and tendency to hold grudges.

There's an article about Bruce Lee on Wikipedia - that's quite well put together: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_Lee I found there some info about his naming - which might explain certain things:

quote:
Bruce Lee was born on November 27, 1940, at the Chinese Hospital, in San Francisco's Chinatown. According to the Chinese zodiac, Lee was born in both the hour and the year of the Dragon, which according to tradition is a strong and fortuitous omen.

Bruce's father, Lee Hoi-chuen, (李海泉) was Han Chinese, and his mother, Grace Ho (何愛瑜), was half-Chinese and half-Caucasian.[14] Specifically, Grace Ho was purportedly a half-German Catholic,[15] and may have been adopted. Grace Ho was the daughter of Ho Kom-tong (Ho Gumtong, 何甘棠) and the niece of Sir Robert Ho-tung, both notable Hong Kong businessmen and philanthropists. Bruce was the fourth child of five children: Phoebe Lee (李秋源), Agnes Lee (李秋鳳), Peter Lee (李忠琛), and Robert Lee (李振輝). Lee and his parents returned to Hong Kong when he was three months old.

Names

Lee's Cantonese birth name was Lee Jun-fan (李振藩). The name homophonically means "return again", and was given to Lee by his mother, who felt he would return to the United States once he came of age. Because of his mother's superstitious nature, she had originally named him Sai-fon (細鳳), which is a feminine name meaning "small phoenix".[20] The English name "Bruce" is thought to have been given by the hospital attending physician, Dr. Mary Glover.

Lee had three other Chinese names: Li Yuanxin (李源鑫), a family/clan name; Li Yuanjian (李元鑒), which he used as a student name while he was attending La Salle College, and his Chinese screen name Li Xiaolong (李小龍; Xiaolong means "little dragon"). Lee's given name Jun-fan was originally written in Chinese as 震藩, however, the Jun (震) Chinese character was identical to part of his grandfather's name, Lee Jun-biu (李震彪). Hence, the Chinese character for Jun in Lee's name was changed to the homonym 振 instead, to avoid naming taboo in Chinese tradition.

Yes, that chart is awesome, once saw it years ago and still remember it. Eight planets in fixed signs, Sun conj. AC, and that mega-T-square with Scorp stellium landing on Pluto in H8….how very fitting.

I think after his death it was concluded he died from some meds for a headache that caused a swelling in his brain or something like that - an accident, maybe facilitated by a prior injury from one of his fights… :(

Ok to bed now, it's late in Europe!

I guess i like/d Bruce Lee - as much as any other boy from my childhood - but, can't say that i took a big interest in him (among his biggest fans - or something like that). After i watched most of his movies - his imprint started fading way - till it became just a memory from the past - one that would be revived from time to time - through subjects like this. But, if i was to speak about him - I'd have to really mostly memories from childhood and rumors from friends who still have an active interest in the man who used to be known as Bruce Lee (the strongest man that ever lived - as they put it). Among those rumors - some really believe he was poisoned. That's one possibility - i guess, but - while checking the available info on his death - the official statement is also quite plausible: Death by Misadventure (that's a link to an extended documentary regarding Bruce Lee's death - which i was watching prior to this post). Hard to say.

Though, it's hard not to notice - the irony of his death. I mean, Bruce Lee was and still is acknowledged as a true master of the human body (he did learned how to push the limits of his body - even became a master at pushing the limits) - and yet, he died at a young age in conditions that imply a lack of awareness of ones physical health. It's not that he wasn't aware of his symptoms (the pain and the intensity) - but based on the available statements - his actions prior to his death - imply a conscious ignorance of his condition and the severity of his case. I can see the irony - but can't say that I'm surprised. Since it's not that uncommon (especially for people in his position - as mentioned above - one who's acknowledged even officially - as a master in terms of physical strength)- to take lightly the severity of a medical condition. Which, he probably thought he could manage with a painkiller and a good night sleep. I've seen this type of behaviour before, I've also heard of other cases - but I've seen it live too - and this people weren't masters of their body. They just had a strong belief that they could recover from their condition with pain killers and a good night sleep (conditions like a heart-attack - for example). Thus, in a way - one could say that - his Ego was probbaly one of the main cause of his demise.

Who,the guys from Nokia? ^^

Underneath the video - there's the following description:

quote:
To promote a cell phone from Nokia, Bruce Lee was sponsored by Nokia in a PIng Pong tournament. But as a twist, he plays with his nunchucks.

So, it depends. If Nokia used a time machine - and hired Bruce Lee to promote their Nokia N96 (the cell phone from the middle of the video at minute 1:04 and the end of the video - at minute 2:26) back in 2008 or... if they used Jesus 2.0 to raise Bruce Lee from the dead and restore him to his initial state - while his bones were probbaly his last remains - due to advanced body decay up-to 2008 (the previous version couldn't do that as far as the story goes - but the next version is probbaly far more advanced - after training in the arts of healing for past 2000 years) - then... yeah, that's hard to believe... O.O

But, something tells me - that scene it's staged:
http://wafflesatnoon.com/bruce-lee-ping-pong-with-nunchucks/

There's no Bruce Lee in above video. At least not a live version - cause there are some static images of him (the phones wallpaper and the painted cover). ^^

What can I say, congrats to those who made that hoax commercial - cause it did fool a lot of people - even fans of Bruce Lee. I felt for it as well - since there was no description and no other info about it at that time. ^^

I'm crushed.

But you know what, I'll bet he could've done something like that.

Jesus 2.0

Actually both Lee and Jesus have most of their personal planets in hard aspect to Pluto. http://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Jesus_Christ

Lee with his sun trine Pluto looks nicer at first glance than Jesus, with the opposition.

But Jesus had sun trine Neptune on the MC and a jovial sun conjunct Jupiter to match Lee's Sag sun.

I guess they would've gotten along OK.

Maybe?

Also, people with very clean bodies become hypersensitive to toxins. Raw foodists in peak condition (or what seems like peak condition) cannot handle air pollution and other chemical assaults the way a person with a dirtier body can. It poses a greater shock to their system.

Perhaps the drug they gave Lee would be normally assimilated by regular people but caused a severe "allergic" reaction for him.
