Dude. I live 40 minutes from Seattle, and I don't follow football. Here are my neighbors. And here's me.

WAIT..is he from Cali? The lone 49er fan in the pic? The dude holding his two kids is giving that guy a major sideeye lol. Yeah, I'm not too much into football, but I enjoy watching games now and then. My team sucked this year, so I mostly watched college football. IP: Logged |

Yeah, my husband is from the central coast of California, haha. Poor guy. I'm pretty sure that he only watches these games with the hope that the Seahawks lose. Yeah, that kid in the picture made the news when he did that last year...but people were still nice to him, I think. Seattleites are pretty polite (if obnoxiously loud when it comes to football). Lol, yeah I figured he wasn't actually your husband because he looked super young, but I got the reference. Some of my family are niner fans and the rivalry is pretty strong. Never really heard of hostility or fan wars, just a silent mutual dislike lol. That would be tough to live in enemy territory- always having to see and hear everything. Especially after the niners lost to them in NFC championship last year. IP: Logged |

Yeah, my husband mostly only watches if the 49ers are playing, but I think after last year he actually started watching it to silently root against the Seahawks. He's that guy who still asks for 49ers shirts as gifts when the old ones wear out. I think it's bugging him less this year, but last year I think he sort of wanted to tell people to shove off at work. They're kinda crazy about football around here... I mean, when I drive to the store I'm not sure how many houses I pass that have the number 12 in lights on the roof, and/or blue and green Christmas lights...but it's A LOT. Heh. At least he's sort of gotten used to it. Well, and we're moving to another state, so I'm pretty sure he'll be looking forward to that aspect of it as well. IP: Logged |

I just noticed how many replies I start out with the word "Yeah". I'm sure that I speak that way to a degree, but it looks ridiculous typed out. IP: Logged |

Seattle's 12th man is hilarious to me because they ripped off Texas A&M for that. Definitely not original. I can appreciate their dedication though.I think they have a really good chance of repeating their title. I do not see Dallas or GB (whoever wins today) beating them. Although it would be cool to see a Broncos-Seahawks rematch where Denver can get revenge. But...Aaron Rodgers is my boy so I wouldn't mind the Packers winning it either. One of the best QBs of all time. Not playing so hot today with his injury though. IP: Logged |

^ We lived in Colorado when I was younger, and it was my favorite place in the US that I've lived during childhood...so I do tend to root for Denver in any sport. I'm also pretty dismissive of the Seahawks because the people of Washington state are SO effing obnoxious about it. Ah well. Yeah, I might like to see the Broncos win against the Hawks. I can't believe you have me talking about football, Bella. Also, I had to stop myself from typing "Yeah" at the beginning of my response. I have a serious problem. IP: Logged |

I'm also sort of partial to the Packers, because I grew up in a family with a lot of people from Wisconsin, so GB was a pretty big deal.IP: Logged |

Yasssssssss. Go pack!I want to see a GB-Seattle matchup, should be really good. So we are rooting for the Pack next week then? I wish I lived in Colorado- have heard nothing but great things about it. My uncle did for a while, and he became a huge Broncos fan, so I like to see them do well. IP: Logged |

Dang, the Colts with the upset! Sadly, I think the Patriots are going to smash them. Anyways, nothing cool to add. My life has been pretty lame the last couple of days. IP: Logged |

Ugh, nevermind. I do have something to say. Rupert Murdoch can take one straight shot to hell for his comments on Muslims. He doesn't realize how his comments are negated by the behaviors from his own religion. A few people do not represent the entire belief system of a religion. Aziz Anzari's response to him was hilarious though. He is going in right now and ripping him an new arsehole! Dead at "anytime a Christian rear ends your car, #RupertsFault" LMAOOOOOOOO. The tweets are gold. I really hope an islamophobic agenda is not pushed by the media. IP: Logged |

I'll have to read through Aziz Ansari's responses. J.K. Rowling's were pretty funny as well, along similar lines. She said something like "I never cease blaming myself for the Inquisition" or something along those lines. Aaaannnyway... I've been all tired today because I started "working out" again (i.e. jumping on a rebounder trampoline in my living room while watching Adventure Time). So not much excitement here, either.
