I suppose I cope by realizing that my coping strategies have been, for the most part, ways of distracting myself. Some have been more productive than others (working with schizophrenic people and being a workaholic was probably a pleasant way of coping with it, because I loved what I did and cared about the people).So now, after I've gone through the Pluto square Pluto transit, and t Pluto is on the second or third stretch of opposing my Saturn, there are a lot of things I'm trying to give up (which is why I am sometimes scarce on the internet, if I feel that it's messing with my energy too much by being a distraction, or escape).
<Eta> Neptune transiting around my T-square needs to get some credit here too, I think. Thankfully, my Aries Venus and Ceres are both at 3 degrees, so they make a trine to my NN, and Pluto makes a sextile to it. But yes, I listen to meditative music, chakra work, my husband and I give each other Reiki, I use my Tibetan singing bowl, crystals, baths, music... IP: Logged |

I should probably add that my Sun and Moon are in intercepted houses (or signs, I can never get that right).  I'm not sure who devised that plan, but in retrospect, it might have been easier. My son also has a very difficult chart. :/ IP: Logged |

Party going on today apparently.IDK Faith, I would say Chiron transits are worse than Nodal. At least for me. Chiron trine Pluto has been that nightmare clown (lol) hiding in the closet for me. My Moon is at 5 degrees Pisces, so you were really, really close. My ASC conjuncts your Vertex Violets. It was fated! Saw it, Violets. I will reply vaguely  love the work that you have done...and the other coping mechanisms you mentioned. I would love to learn how you picked up Reiki..and isn't that a psychic art? My youngest son has an awful chart so you have my empathy there. Good news is, it progresses We totally understand about taking vacations from the internet -- feel free to come and go at your pleasure. Yay Bella is back! Hiya!  So, your moon and nodal axis squares Violets' nodes, the plot just keeps thickening. Not sure why I am here when you all have action on the Aqua-Pisces cusp and I don't. @ Faith--I suppose my husband and I are just tuned in. I'm much more aware of energy, whether it's residual or otherwise. I'm really sensitive to energy.
It runs in my family, somewhat. Everyone in my family has it to some degree, if they want it. My husband's step-mom was the person who taught him a bit about Reiki, and he taught me. I also went to someone to have extensive energy work done, and she explained a lot of things to me. Mostly we just tune in, though.
His dad spent a lot of time with a Native American tribe he is now a member of, and has built sweat lodges, makes our smudge sticks for us, that sort of thing.
I suppose I should say right now how grateful I am to be blessed with such people in my life.  I suppose that's the interesting thing about Pisces and BML and 8H.
They can all be really awful at their worst, but if a person uses them for higher purposes, they can be very healing as well. My husband also has his Sun and Vertex in 8H, and Neptune in 12H conjunct my NN. His Moon is conjunct my Vertex and trine my Moon, and my Dsc is conjunct his NN...so it's not hard for us to help each other energetically, I guess. Very very cool. Why apologize for talking about yourself? You're interesting!Did you folks know that I read a lot of memoirs? I like when people talk about their lives and if I don't get enough stories for free here, I will go out and buy a book of them. Actually I get those books no matter what. You and your husband have that amazing moon trine moon...I suppose that must help with everything, energetically? Sounds like you are very fortunate with the people you've been blessed to know I don't know anyone in real life who is attuned to, and willing to talk to me about, energy. I am sensitive to energy but usually can't name it...though sometimes if I focus, I think I can sense ailments or odd things through writing. It's a matter of desire and focus, I think (I don't feel like doing this, usually.) But on the Psychic Thread in Sweet Peas, I got some "hits" that way. Noticing what I was seeing in my head and realizing there might be something to it. Anyway, how lovely that you and your husband do that for each other. Your son is lucky, too.

Well I just had an unpleasant ending to a crappy day....
I was just on my way home and I was tired and hungry but didn't feel like cooking so I called to order a pizza from Dominos. When the woman answered I asked if they were still running the $5 large pizza carry-out special and she got an attitude with me and told me that they had never had that special and I didn't know what I was talking about. I knew she was full of it because I have gotten that special on more than one occasion. She kept arguing with me and I kept my cool while sticking to my story but her attitude got progressively worse. It got to the point where she was cutting me off before I could even speak. I kept trying to tell her that it wasn't a big deal and I was going to order a pizza anyways but she wouldn't STFU... So I finally lost it and shouted "Look!!!! I don't care, i'm just trying to order a f*cking pizza!!!" and she hung up on me!!! She hung up on me!!! So I called back and another guy answered and I told him I wanted to speak to the manager and he put her back on the phone. She kept insisting that she was the manager and I didn't believe her so I ended up hanging up and going to the other dominos across town. I was able to order my pizza from them without controversy and I told them what had happened and I asked if that woman was really the manager and it turns out that she really was. I was blown away because she is incompetent and unfit to manage a restaurant. I mean I worked at a pizza place when I was 16 and I never acted like she did or hung up the phone on anyone. And she is supposed to be manager and is supposed to be held to higher standards! It's pretty sad when a teenager is more professional than a grown woman. I plan to call the district/regional manager and tell him all about this whole incident.. Hopefully he'll chew her a** out and give me a free pizza.

When you tell a story like that, I imagine the people who know that girl very well, and how they would regard the interaction...And in my mind, her ex-boyfriends and friends she has lost and all kinds of people who have encountered that attitude before...if they had a view of your conversation with her, they'd say, "Dude, it's not YOU. Thanks again, Faith.  I know that many people have a hard road in life, so I don't mean to sound like I'm wallowing or anything, but...yeah. It's really (truly) not easy. It's sort of a constant challenge to harness that energy and create a balance. I haven't really got to the point of conquering it yet, but I'm working on it...and I'm f**king stubborn. I've been offered a lot of grace to help me along my path, and I'm really fortunate in that sense. But it is a constant struggle not to fall into the murky dark waters of Pisces and Neptune, however that might manifest for me (it can change appearance, but the energy is always the same--and always aiming to throw me from my path). I once described it when I was 15 years old as feeling as though I'm constantly walking a tightrope. It still feels that way, but I plan to learn how to do it with ease one of these days. No, the number 5 has never had much significance for me, but I believe that my name comes out to be a 6 (if I added it up right, when I tried to figure it out in 8th grade ). It's a funny thing, the numbers. When my Saturn return was about to hit me the hardest, I kept seeing my birthday number (225) everywhere. Whenever I would look at the clock, etc. And that year my birthday fell on Ash Wednesday.
I'm not Catholic, so I had to look up Ash Wednesday years later to find out what it meant. I found this today about 225, and it certainly did hit home for that time.

I just couldn't believe that she was actually the manager... Who on God's green earth would leave her in charge of a restaurant? Maybe she was just having a bad day or is on the rag or something...
