I love it! I do like Elvis Costello, although I'm not overly familiar with everything he's done. I love the song, though. His contributions to music are pretty admirable. IP: Logged |

That's fine. :) I've picked up a few books by transgender teens who talk about the transition from one gender to another, and that really intrigues me. How taking hormones dramatically changes a person's focus, thought processes, personality. I figure, only the people who've walked in both worlds really know the difference on a subjective level. :looking:
Transgenders are dealing with deep identity crisis in terms of sexuality - so, they can only describe that experience (the transformation process). It's hard for them to describe manhood - if they felt really lost in a male body. As a recommendation, you could try "Allan Pease". He dedicated most of his life to understand body language and the differences between Men and Women. He might surprise you with some basic knowledge - you probably weren't aware of up to this point. I really relate to most of the descriptions for INTJ. One of the things I've read is we (INTJs) want people to make sense and get extremely frustrated when they don't. This is me to a T! It really confuses and frustrates me when peoples actions and words are telling me different things. I like people who say what they mean and mean what they say. I won't respect you or take you seriously if you can't do that.IP: Logged |

Such a pretty window, Violets. It's very cold and windy here. Kinda neat that I drift off to sleep to the singing of the trees, while asking them in my mind to please not blow over onto the house and crush me to death. Not sure how I would fare on your judgement scale, AG. I communicate some things obliquely...which is a little more honest than saying nothing at all, but less honest than those times I call upon my 3H Pluto trine Mercury and Mars, and say things that are so blunt it leaves everyone scorched. Fortunately the older I get the less I really care about many topics, so I can be genuinely ambivalent. Y'all can have my straight opinion on any bland topic you like it's the controversial things that require a light touch or the blowtorch. One or the other. IP: Logged |

In other news, I'm absurdly happy that my husband brought home really awful Chinese food for dinner (so terrible it's good, I guess). Now that we live in a small town, this is the way it goes. Not that I'm complaining. IP: Logged |

This is fantastic! Actually a lot of it sounds familiar...he just makes a stronger case for it. I just paused the video -- was laughing so hard at the part where the women who just said "mm hmm, mm hmm" in the interviews were deemed the most intelligent by far. That HAPPENED to me.

Faith, Alot of people think being honest=rude but you can be honest with people without being rude and hurting their feelings. I'm pretty good at striking that balance, unfortunately most people can't do it or they won't do it. IP: Logged |

Uhm...I got ESFP??I should probably take the test again, because a lot of the questions were like "well, it depends entirely on the scenario, so it's hard to say". But strangely, the description is pretty accurate in a lot of ways. I'm positive this is not even close to what I got the last time I took this test. The last results seemed more accurate, so maybe I'll look around for the notebook I wrote it down in. Eta: Actually, some of this doesn't describe me even remotely. I have 11H Saturn, and I most certainly do not consider everyone a friend (although I'm friendly with most people I encounter), and I can have a pretty hard time accepting people in real life, although I have an easier time accepting them if they have problems I can sympathize with that make them appear more human. I am absolutely not optimistic (although I'm not necessarily pessimistic) IP: Logged |

I just don't feel the need to tell people what I think a lot of the time (if I disagree with them) unless they've really irritated me somehow. Otherwise, I just sort of pass by whatever it is they're saying and move on to something else. When I'm in my own home though, I'm slightly more outspoken about my beliefs when I disagree with someone (I think it's that Mars square Uranus/IC in my natal). Also, when it comes to my son and his well-being I'm way more sharp-tongued, with teachers or other family members, etc. So...I suppose I just don't feel the need to "be honest" when offering my opinion will probably lead to an argument. I'm not that awesome when an argument gets heated (which it usually will if someone insists on disagreeing with me when they don't actually know what they're talking about--or at least know less than I do, or we're both just set in our beliefs and there's no point--and drag an argument/debate out after I've tried to disengage). So...there's that to take into consideration. IP: Logged |

A lot of people actually do feel better without it. But I never say to people "cut this or that out" because unless you test out the way your body reacts to a particular food, you shouldn't just cut out things because it could be harmful to your body. IP: Logged |

Wow, only 3% of women are ENFJ. Dang, I feel special! The description is super accurate in a creepy kind of way. Especially this: Research on ENFJ Interesting facts about the ENFJ: On personality trait scales, scored as Active, Pleasant, Sociable, Demanding, Impatient, Appreciative, and Compromising Most likely of all types to cope with stress by exercising Most likely of all types to believe in a higher spiritual power Ranked by psychologists as among least likely to have trouble in school Personal values include Friendships, Education & Learning, Creativity, and Community Service Among types highest in job satisfaction, but also among most likely to report plans to leave their jobs Commonly found in careers in religion, teaching, and the arts http://www.truity.com/personality-type/enfj IP: Logged |

Hmmm... I'm seeing that the major conflict I have with these tests is that there is a hugely significant difference in how I am in my home life, how I am in my work life, and how I am in my social life...and in my social life, it depends on the people I'm surrounded by...whether I have plenty in common with them, what types of things we have in common, how accepting I find them to be in general, etc.I read something about this in a description of one of my natal aspects, I think (it might have been my Venus opposite Pluto, or Venus quincunx Moon). It said that I tend to section areas of my life off from each other, and that's completely true. So it's kinda hard to answer some of these, since the answers would be totally different, depending on the area of my life I'm referring to. Maybe it's just the way that the first test was worded. The second test is worded in a way that makes more sense to me. IP: Logged |
