Everything starts to come together for you professionally this year. You spent a lot of time to yourself, quietly pondering last year, but this year, you take all those plans you thought of and put them to good use. You can have great business opportunities presented to you, and you can improve your finances. The hard, smart work you’ve put in during this current cycle starts to pay off. You’re goal-oriented and ambitious, and can make great strides to getting where you want to go. You can take charge, you know what needs to be done, and you can get the help you need to do it. The year may not feel like it starts until February, and that’s when you begin to take action. You put in a lot of work in May, and see changes and lots of activity in June. July can be excellent for your finances, and November can be the start of something new. http://www.thedarkpixienumerology.com/2015-yearly-numerology-horoscope.html One example of a Year 8. I always thought the number 8 was kind of scary and Saturn-ish, or fated, after reading Linda's Star Signs? In other news, Saturn will be at the apex of my T-square within a couple of months, conjunct my NN and square my Sun/Moon.
My condolences. I've had Saturn square Sun the last year, and it was no bueno. IP: Logged |

Ermphh. It's my second go at the Saturn square Sun/Moon thing (I think I was about 12 the last time it happened), but Neptune has been mucking around with my T-square off and on for the past number of months as well, so it will be interesting. Neptune and Saturn just suck, as far as hard transits go. Pluto and Uranus at odds with my natal Saturn (12 Cancer) hasn't been a picnic, either. WTF, Universe? Eta: Actually, the second or third time around with the hits to my natal Saturn haven't been quite as terrible. Uranus square Saturn has pretty much just been an inconvenient, draining, pain in the @ss, but Pluto was a little bit more...volcanic...the first time it opposed my natal Saturn. This time has been much more pleasant (and direct instead of rx). IP: Logged |

Yeah, haha. It's been pretty weird. Pluto was very kind while it was making a square to my 3 Aries Venus a few years back, but it was also conjunct my Vertex, and trine my Moon/sextile my Sun. Pluto is usually okay, but yeah. Yikes. Not looking forward to getting hit by Neptune and Saturn at the same time. -__- Eta. I mean that Pluto was trine my MOON and sextile my Sun. IP: Logged |

I just discovered... My asc, sun, moon are all masculine. My Chinese signs are all yang except my time. (Earth snake)

I'm still trying to figure out if my day is a Tiger or a Dragon... At any rate, I think that most of my Chinese stuff is Yang, while a lot of my Western elements are Feminine. IP: Logged |

In Chinese Astrology, the hour of birth is called the Inner Companion. It's like the ASC of Western Astrology. It explains why some Chinese Signs get along well when they shouldn't. Compatability is ruled by the Inner Companions.IP: Logged |

Since it changes on the hour, I count it up till the last second (not a minute before). Also, this is local standard time, so if you were born during Daylight Savings Time (DST), you would have to deduct an hour (sometimes two). You can Google your year of birth to see if/when DST applied. Here is the chart in non-military time:Rat 11 pm to 1 am Ox 1 am to 3 am Tiger 3 am to 5 am Rabbit 5 am to 7 am Dragon 7 am to 9 am Snake 9 am to 11 am Horse 11 am to 1 pm Goat 1 pm to 3 pm Monkey 3 pm to 5 pm Rooster 5 pm to 7 pm Dog 7 pm to 9 pm Pig 9 pm to 11 pm If an individual has the same Sign and Inner Companion, that person has the strong possibilty of balancing the positive and negative traits of the animal. The Inner Companion is also known by or called the Companion in Life. The main impact with the Inner Companion, though, is as it relates to compatability. For example, the Horse and Rat are two of the most incompatible of Signs; however, if a Rat has a Horse Inner Companion, the Rat will be very attracted to the Horse, and if a Horse has a Rat Inner Companion, the Horse will be very attracted to the Rat. If both of them have the other's Inner Companions, then despite the incompatability of the two Signs, it could be a match made in heaven! This also applies to a lesser degree if the Inner Companions are not the same but are compatible. IP: Logged |

There are five compatability groupings: highly compatible, amicable, no conflict but needs effort, lack of sympathy, and antagonistic.IP: Logged |

Interesting. Now I need to look around for the definite elements/signs for my hour, day, month, and year. IP: Logged |

It's over my head but good luck sorting everything out. All I know is my ASC is probably Rooster and I married a Rooster. Even though Rabbits and Roosters are technically a forbidden match, and in China no one would actually come to the wedding as it would bring a curse to their livestock for generations. The people who did come would throw black rice at us. I just made that up but who knows, it might be right. IP: Logged |

Well, that is interesting. My ASC is then a Tiger, so I'll have to look at previous relationships and see why they didn't work out. Tiger + Snake= non-confrontational and passive Of course. IP: Logged |

Somehow, saying that my hour/Asc in Chinese astrology is the Monkey sounds about as good as saying that my Sun sign is a Fish. Can I like, make up my own animals and stuff? I have Liger rising, okay? And my Sun is in Unicorn. Yep. IP: Logged |

The Tiger follows its heart. The Snake follows its head. They tend not to understand one another, since their approaches to life are so different.IP: Logged |
