I have been working in customer service for about 6 months already & I'm starting to get unhappy as the days go by. 90% of customers are nice but it's the 10% of rude customers that stand out the most. I hate being yelled at by customers when I have done NOTHING wrong. Customers can insult you all they want & the worst part is that you can't defend yourself, you're supposed to suck it up. At the end of the day, I do get my feelings hurt because I do get attacked personally.

Sometimes I wonder: Is getting yelled at & treated like dirt in exchange for money really worth it?

I think that everyone should work with the public at least once in their life..It'll teach you how to be more polite to others. Before working, I had no clue how difficult it was to work...with people. Kindness goes a long way...

Milly, I FEEL YA! I just started back at my old retail job to earn money for the holidays and I've had three rude customers out of, oh, fifty. I go crazy with the mundane "How are you today?" NOBODY ever answers that honestly, for one! Two, NOBODY wants to sign up with our awful credit card that they pressure us so hard to sell. Retail is good for teaching 16-year-old newborns responsibility and that's about it. I don't think it's a healthy work environment at all otherwise.

Oh, I didn't think that. Thank you. I just regretted posting it.

Something happened last night, and it scared her - it scared all of us. I regret posting about it elsewhere, but I was in shock, and my Dad wasn't here. I shouldn't be talking about any of this - I just hope this means a turnaround for all of us, but I also just want her to feel better.

Ok Venting... wow.. A lot has happened.

So Saturday night I was at a bar - and this really hot guy hit on me.. tall, dark and handsome.. and he was giving me these looks like he wants to bonk my brains out then and there.. so I thought about it - because I was h*rny... and then I rejected him because I'm too classy to do that.

I am just above that.

I'm ONE classy chick who hangs around in bars all daaaaay long... just hanging.. and talking to people... who want to f*ck me.. la dee da..
