To Sri Yogananda... on the anniversary of his Samadhi (death, March 7th). Reading his Autobiography of a Yogi had a big impact on my spiritual formation in my early twenties. After a brief time period of atheism and agnosticism in my later teens, I came back to God and Christ again, after reading Edgar Cayce books, and the book about Yogananda. I had fallen in love with God, all over again.

I admired His Beautiful Devotion to God {his song O God Beautiful} as he contemplated and saw God everywhere as he looked at Nature. I was captivated by a Beautiful Vision of Christ, and a longing for the Coming again of the Spirit of Christ in Glory {his song, O Cloud Colored Christ, Come!}.

His songs and his book focused and inspired me in my own spiritual directions.... even if I wouldn't make a good nun. God thrusted me out into the World.

Even though I was in a very separate 'religion' than he was, certainly, he proved once more to me-- that there is Nothing that Separates us, unless we Let it... We must have Compassion for one another (as well as upon our own self, and life).

'Nothing Separates us' from the Love of God, and IN our Love for God, and for a love and compassion for each race, culture, and creed in our Society. God give us Grace to find this.

Lord, Free Us from the things that Separate Us. Bring This World Together in a New and Better Way. Transform each single tear into Tears of Gladness. Renew Brotherly-Sisterly-Neighborly Love, and the Love of God, in this Earth within our Lifetime. Protect us, Lord.

Today was another anniversary for me...
{I'm postponing the dentist. Rm experiencing a health issue. I may actually need those funds for a different purpose now.

whoah. That was an oops posting! I was changing my mind about leaving one today, thought I had deleted all that I'd written, then instead of clear-fields, I hit Post!

But since I'm in here editing, I just want to say that I'll probably be busy next few days.

He's gonna Live!, in spite of his badly behaved self!!!... Just getting older. He's having his Uranus square Uranus, and Saturn on Mars. His Uranus trines his Vertex exact. Uranus Cancer cusp of 2nd, Vertex cusp of 6th Scorpio. He's irritated and frustrated right now. Getting old is not fun... takes adjusting.

That's how we met... I was his neighbor. He had a mild stroke and was off work, then he had a heart problem. Needed a stint, and he actually "asked" me for help. (He doesn't ask ANYBODY for anything, so that his show of trust was really eye-opening.)

I think I re-traumatized myself at the dentist the other day-- financially ouch -- and emotionally. I allowed myself to be 'convinced' that I wouldn't need the nitrous, and suddenly felt pang of anxiety I was NOT aware I had stepping into the office. I thought I had this conquered. And the bonus was that I would also 'save money'... No, no. I should have been more supportive and sensitive to my inner-child ( I was not in true-touch with my feelings, and didn't realize that).
