A part of me was so happy for him, and wanted to make it a special day... like the reverse of when a child leaves to go to school for the first time.

You know, if you think about it, our 'work' begins that first day we leave home and go to school, and have to follow some authority's lead. Starts early... in childhood. Ends at point of retirement (for older people of my generation).

Today is a landmark day for him.....

So.

He was getting ready.. We got into a 'discussion' about a piece of news on tv. He prattled on about something..... and I just had to BREAK the convo.

I said, you know that this is a special day for you. I would have filmed you getting ready (like making a little documentary for his family, for capturing his moment).

I said, I'm JUST sorry. It's hard for me today to be overly-happy for you, because it means an ending for ME. ... I'm facing homelessness (on the streets), during a time where there is a glut of needs. There's not going to be anything for me.

Then he starts 'defending' ... when did I (he) say that?

I said last week, and a month ago...

You've been saying how you want to be here 'all by yourself' and NOT living with anyone here.

He seemed genuinely puzzled...

Said YES, that's true.... but that "DIDN'T" mean you are being thrown out into "homelessness" ... He WANTS to be alone. And/but/IF that were to mean that I would have to be 'out in the streets' homeless, he said NO. He wouldn't want that.... He said, Move ONLY if you have a good place to stay and a job.

Right there....
That was a 'reflection' for me.
How sensitive I am to be taking action-responsibility for 'the other' in my life.

For me, throughout relationships, if my 'other' had a wish, I put feet to it. I knew how to instinctively move and arrange things FOR that person and their desire.

That was the way my ex1 had HIS wishes come true... We were resting one day, and I asked him what his dream was.
.. He said he wanted a house, and his own business.
.. Within SIX months, and in a year, I'd found a fixer-upper home (that my dad and I rehabbed together); and I searched in (local) Law libraries how to form a 'corporation'. I followed the instructions, and DID it!!

I got that for him.
AND, we made our first baby during that time, and,
he got his first Mercedes to drive, and,
brought home a Macintosh SE. (and old DecPro350)
We were on our way to building towards our own small, computer server farm, among other things.

I'm good at supporting others... I DO like 'being my own person'-- never a clinger (and I would not enjoy being in relationship with one who did, either??? I love intimacy as far as being inner-depth-persons, but I could NOT abide for long, and wouldn't want to be, someone's little follow-around 'puppy' ... That is definitely NOT-me. LOL. I work in 'parallel' with and for the Other. I don't "lose" my personality IN another person's self. That's my little tiny Styrofoam-self piece. I "HAVE" TO "be" my OWN self, "with" an other, or Many others).

I'm good at seeing things the other person wouldn't have perceived could come into Reality.

As for my own self........ I feel like a foreigner in a new land.

This is the modern "new world" way of operating now.
Every man for himself... whoever falls behind stays behind?? ROFL--- Pirates!!

I have been a STRONG support-background person.... I come alongside. I notice the ones who aren't being served, too, and I tend to them with interested-attention.

I've been the one in the home, or the office (paid and volunteer work), who did all the hidden tasks that make everyday life flow.
I'm there. I perceive and anticipate.
I 'do'... and others hardly notice or see it, because I quietly close those 'gaps' before they happen.

There are hidden things. Hidden people in fabric of our lives, who do seeming-invisible work.

If they don't do what they Do... that's when the rest of the world suddenly might say-- hey, something's different and off. Something isn't right in our lives. We stumble, things are not on a 'hum'....

We only 'notice' when things go wrong-different for us.

I realize I have Talents. People have suggested that... even in the threads and posts I do at LL.

I just "do" what I do. It is sooo "me" that I can't seem to pull-out and 'manage' self, as I would have done for talents I see in other people.

The only thing I feel I do, is see the Star in the Other... and point to tweaks and directions, hone their Beauty.

This is what I've considered my own beauty to be.

I've noticed this kind of 'energy' before---
You write something.
You go back afterwards, and realizing that the words could be taken the WRONG way.
So then, try to edit.

This is where I really have to trust people, that they do understand, as I too try to apply Understanding.

We just got through the terrors of threats in Hurricane Irma last month.
I am a super-prepper (~oy!! LOL).
Now I feel like I can't find anything!

Just now starting to find important things I lost.

In the mean time, Rm was working through an ENORMOUS turn of events for him... with retirement. You KNOW that kind of 'transition' evokes its own special chaotic atmosphere of subtle-change.

I've been spinning a lot of plates on top of rods here.

One of my greatest-Fear triggers was set off.

The morning of the actual last-day for rm, brought the conversation forward.
The climbing low-level of panic in me for the past month, all spilled at once.

Again, I KNOW I have people with Hearts of God, covering and reading my posts. Tracking life with me.

Indeed... I am Blessed and MOST Fortunate.

Well... I'm back.
Balloons at the front door with Congratulations banner there.

The balloon inside is taped to the eating-table, with a card (with balloons), and a Snickerbar!

The symbolism of the Snicker-bar is hilarious. I wrote (in card) that he'll be tasting the Deserved Sweets of his labors now; not to mention he'll be 'snickering' at his coworkers each time his morning alarm goes off, or they drive by and see him in the community.

She was Bullied (haters), and that gentle little soul felt so anguished and isolated that she took her own life-- during the slim window of time that her parents had just become aware, and had been searching to switch her OUT of that school, and into private school for a fresh start.
(public-school system).
They plan on suing the school.

I hope that this case will help set a heavy precedence in Society. I pray that The Good Performed now by these grieving parents, will make the Death of their Child, to have Honor...

Let her life have Made a Difference...

Raising awareness of Bullying, and causing the teachers, friends, and neighbors learn how to step in, may help save the lives of Many potential Others.

Rebuke the hands of negative-pack-mentality bonds.

The holiday celebrates Harvests.

In my paraphrased understanding...
Sukkot commemorates the times in history when the workers had so much work to do out in their fields that they built temporary huts (Booths) in order to camp out there during the nights. (Efficiently saved them the great amount of time traveling back and forth from field to home). They spent nights out in the huts in their fields, in order to reap the Abundance that was there.

Laboring... Working to reap and gather-in the Harvest of their seeds.

It's a festival of working together, with a sense of joy and fulfillment, and preparing for the winter months ahead.

Thanking God.

I am aware that there are many people who have been displaced from their homes, due to recent earth/natural events.

I've watched recent news clips of the wealthy homes, vineyards and landowners out in California Santa Rosa region, that are being incinerated by firestorms right now.
