Today/tomorrow is the anniversary 37 years ago (1980), of the day I almost took the Veil inside the walls of a contemplative monastery.

I remember walking 2 hours to go to mass each day... and as I walked I communed with God, singing Yogananda Chants?! oh yeah.... That was me then, and this is me still now.

God gave me the ability, the deep deep privilege, of meeting and having walked in the shoes of parts of other's Belief Systems. .. So many of them.

I bow deeply in Humble Gratitude.... for All the Teaching I've ever been privileged to have .... Given to me by humans, and Anchored By GOD's LOVE.

What a Life! ..... Thank you God.

I might not have entered that monastery at that time in my life.... But I've been IN the Temple of His Heart, Holding out His Hands, His Arms to Others. My shoes with His Feet on This Created Earth. Him Looking through my eyes. So Blessed. ..... so Rich.

I looked up the dates, for the ending of my monastery experience.

During TWO ECLIPSES!!!...
('would you believe?' LOL)

e.o. July 1980 ...
That last week had temperatures in dangerous heat (for our region).
I had to walk for hours in the usual punishing heat and humidity noonday/afternoon hours (?July 24 R).
Wasn't hydrating.
Woke up to go to work my position at the stockbrokerage next day (July 25 Fri).
When I raised my arms to reach for my pink blouse, something gripped super tight in my arms and chest... I arrived at work (anyway, mind had gone blank about seeking medical help for that-- it was just 'too stark').
After 4pm, I left to go get my Friday allergy shot at the docs.
He said my heart wasn't beating right and sent me immediately to E.R. ..
Was given fluids.
I was fine later.
They didn't have to do anything.
After tests, I hadn't had a damaging attack (so that was good).
Best figure is that I had had a kind of heat stroke(?), {affected my heart??(Leo)}.

~Well, "Just Happened" !!!! that a nun had taken ill and was taken to the same emergency room. I was recognized by a priest there. The mother-superior found out.
Due to this health event,
and lack of money,
they turned me away.

She explained that I had had no family member willing to pay a required monthly health insurance premium. (Surprised? oh yes, cloisters are efficient and practical, and expected 'the family' to be the back-up financial resource for anything needed. Up until this point, they had been willing to forgo that point with me.)
Then, the other issue is that I didn't have the traditional lump-sum 'dowry' to offer them at my entrance (~$10,000?+).

This could turn out to be a MUCH different world than what we have right now.

... I need to loose 'hurt and pain' from me. It's not associated with stories or memories. It's just a bereft pulsing 'hurt and pain'... part of the isolation. Part of not feeling 'received' by others' Heart in my reality-life.

That pain I feel inside vanishes when I'm Charged and Giving OUT to others.... and it's as though, after the Giving, I have been 'left' in a pool of pain.

I don't know if that's just 'my lot'...
I don't want it to be.

I want to be able to 'feel' and Receive ALL the LEO Warm and Sunny Light and Being Full of Acceptance-- And JUST BEING and BEAMING and Radiant with giving giving giving giving.... That's what I want.

I realize that I have felt 'invisible' in my life. (And I could probably point out the parts of my natal chart that say that quite clearly.)
I have felt 'unreceived' ... which, I could identify to my chart too.

I wish I could ONLY JUST GIVE all the time, and have all resources, tangibly-- haha, I have to specify the 'tangible' because I DON'T MIND GIVING AND GIVING AND GIVING. Truly!!! It IS a Better Thing to Give?

Things were absolutely terrible Sunday Morning. I hadn't felt that LEVEL of excrutiation in a long time. I felt badly for my rm who just watched me in peak-pains... All I could do, was cry, and walk around the 'hood (which was NOT too good? LOL). I didn't know if I was hot or cold. All I knew was 'survive' ONE more moment, as Gracefully as I could.

It really bothers me when I get to the point of finding myself asking God to heal or take-me-out of my body permanently. And around 20 years ago, I had begun to LEARN how to fight FOR my life. I'd dealt with sadness my whole life, where I truly didn't feel wanted and didn't want to BE... since just before I was 8 years old. I remember that moment. One of the things I can say about my life is that I Conquered wanting to die all the time... and I made a Decision to truly live!

Now, here I am in 'ripening time'...

Thanking God, for My Own Life.

I quickly saw an item on TV Pop-news that OPRAH is celebrating her 30th Anniversary with long-time boyfriend. She "explained" why they never married.

She said that a 'married' relationship has role-requirements. It changes the whole relationship. She knew she could never BE that cultural role requirement exchange.

I played some astrology catch-up today. Listened to a Kepler College free course on the astrology of Epidemics in civilizations. (Jupiter-Saturn conjunction cycles, then with the Mars conjunction, which is to be compared WITH the Eclipse occurring before the conjunction. Just fascinating!). Cycles every 20 years. Then there are smaller cycles within cycles. With the eclipse, you see results at 12 months or 12 years later. Hard to predict except after-the-fact.

.. I noticed some things repeating, over the cycles, that the instructor wasn't tying in.. probably because I have the advantage of being an 'arm-chair quarterback'? LOL. There are going to be future transits where what I noticed will be in effect. I'll have to do more research on it.

.. Plus, the class was a recording, not live chat. (For whatever reason, the interfacing meeting-software announced it was having technical difficulties that day.)

I also worked on what birthdata I have for the woman I met on the bus the other day. (I'm old enough to be her mother.)
She had hinted to me parts of her story. I saw how this is depicted in her chart. It's a deep wound in her life... and as I held her chart in my hands I felt/saw the sadness. The charts? ... it's like they are Living. So in touch that I Hold another person's life-print, a live moment of birth, another person's mother's experience telling the story surrounding the birth of her baby with clues to the months before that.. Held in my hands and fingers. I felt compassion for her, and I became aware of some energy pulsing in my palms and from my fingers.
Flowing out. Love and sorrow and Gratitude for the wonderful strong woman she turned out to be in spite of her past.
.. I remember the tears she and I had each cried together, each our turn.
.. Yes. Life can be so cruel and brutally hard, and so sad that any would have to endure what they do and did... Then I SEE the Blossom in the deep shine in the person in front of me.

And, I understand and know the-pit-and-the-pain that some have endured in the work to be "polished" and formed into such a gem. ... And there's more of that to come for her, for sure. That's what life does. That's what life does...
So Courageous.

(Randall, when you mentioned Carter's mother, it reminded me of work I had done on some presidential mama's -- She has same Sag Rising degree as myself, and, conjunct with USA's and LL's rising.)

Still very much enjoying my coworkers and what I do at my volunteer job (was today).

The doc ordered some non-narcotic pain pills for the headache I've had. I'm always extra grateful to have the worst parts of it brought down. Does make a difference.

I had some cool astrological insights to share. Will post that when I can. Need to handle things very mushy-slowly-softly-gently, and not push too hard. Get some inner slowed-down rest, which helps with the outer.

Again, I was coming to only post songs today.
