Actually, late summer colds are very common. When I was at the doctor for my arm, the waiting room was full of sneezy, coughie, runny people. <<<< sending you chicken soup >>>>>

Hey Ag; changing the subject for a minute, cause something went ding! And it wasn't my dinner.
Was it you and me and DFD that were talking in a thread a couple months back about "handedness," and I think it was DFD said that your left arm is the arm of your heart... and I said, something probably eloquent and brilliant like, "Huh, my left arm has been hurting for _____ now, and so does my heart."
I was wondering if you remember that because if it did indeed happen, I should probably look that up, that way I can give a more accurate report as to WHEN my arm starting hurting when I go to see the specialist.
If it wasn't you, then just ignore me. <:

It's a beautiful day here. It's almost like a Fall day. It's sunny and bright with a cool, persistent breeze. I notice that because of my semi-sick state I'm the most relaxed I've been in a long time, and it's quite refreshing.

Ok, so it was me and Yin? Right then, I will ask her......p.s. it feels like fall here too and I'm not happy about it.

Lol. I got a weird kind of scratchy scab on my arm, and my son goes, "Is that what color you really are mom?" Yea, its been a rip off summer in the O HI, I need some more sun! Just a pre-warning, I HATE winter, go into terrible depressions and am generally hateful for about 4-6 months. Hope you will still like me then! (p.s. I exaggerate, its all Jupiters fault, been blamin him most my life, but I do have SAD, Seasonal Affect Disorder, if you are one that believes in such things! <:

I used to get S.A.D. every year, but not in a while now. Perhaps it's because where I live gets pretty during the winter.

I'm kind of ecstatic this morning. My congestion didn't wake me up last night, and I didn't take anything for it before going to bed. This bug must be going away!

Good for you! I just realized every cap I know, rarely if ever, gets sick! Must be nice!!

Are you into the quizzes on facebook? I took, "What Dead Rock Star Are You?" I got Jim Morrison. Big surprise, not! I liked your palm reading one, by the way.

Normally, it is nice. I don't think I've ever been sick as often as I have at this job. I'm already out of sick days this year. I think it must be something to do with this place, or even the neighborhood. San Leandro is not cool.

I didn't like my Dead Rock Star result. I got Janis Joplin, which doesn't fit me at all. If they wanted to make me out as a sensitive artist that dresses like a slob, I'd have much preferred Kurt Cobain. I'm probably more like an Elvis. At least he's a Capricorn with a good voice.

In general, the Facebook tests are hit or miss. I took a "What 80's Band Are You?" test, and got The Beach Boys. Since when are the Beach Boys an 80's band?

And if we can veer a little bit away from rock, John Denver shares my Sun and Rising, though I don't necessarily see myself as super similar to him.

I've always loved John Denver, since I was a kid. And I can't stand country music, so I don't know why. I'm not sure if he would be country or easy listening? Either way, even my GRANDparents made fun of me for liking John Denver, but his lyrics just crush me!

Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And btw, I am up at 3 in the morning cause coming to your thread made me catch your cold, see how you are. They say the way to get rid of a cold is to give it someone else, so thanks, buddy.
Really, laying down is actually painful. My ears stop up like they do on airplanes, and then there is a dry spot in my throat that tickles which makes me cough!! Yuck!! Oh you can't imagine how a Sag hates to be sick.
On the upside, I vegged out and watched "Constantine." I love that movie. So while 5 people knocked on my door this evening, I got to lay there watching Keanu Reeves kick some demon butt.

Hi 8th! I am feeling a lot better. It's still not totally gone, but I can sleep all night and nothing seems bad enough to warrant medication.

Hi Unmoved!

Boy LL's been dead today, so thanks for posting! Gives me something to read.

I can't play my Lexulous turn while at work. My computer doesn't have the latest version of flash, and it won't let me install it.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA AG, you just weren't gonna take the blame for that one were you!

I was remembering last night during my misery, that my Grandma used to say, "A cold takes three days in coming, three days in staying, and three days in leaving."

So basically, you should only feel suicidal for 3 days, and the other 6 just mildly murderous.
If you don't hear from me soon, google The Dayton Daily Newspaper, just to be sure I haven't gone bad.
Well now that I've been up for an hour, and feel dizzy, I'm going back to bed!
AG, behave and try not to get anyone else sick. lol. and mwah! (whoops no kissing, spreads germs!)

Testing out a new pen at work.

Exciting, I know.

For some reason I can't find my longtime favorite Pentel RSVP pens.
