The show went smoothly. I was a little bored at parts. Seems like some skits went longer than they should have (like we were filling time when normally we'd have more skits scheduled). No major screw ups. Our Dutch cast member didn't seem to understand his goody-two-shoes role in a skit called The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. He was the first guy (The Good), so he was supposed to be Mr. Prim and Proper. The Bad is supposed to be bad. The Ugly is supposed to be Super-Bad. They take relationship questions from the audience, and answer them one at a time with each of them answering each question. He screwed up in that on the very first question about cheating, he made his character out to be a cheater himself. He's supposed to be uber moral. That was probably the biggest screw up of the night. The Aries came out along with another woman we apparently went to school with, and that woman's partner. (These women, unbeknownst to me at the time, have as their Suns my Sun and Rising signs.) It went fine. We met. We made small talk. I did the show. I invited them to our after show party at a restaurant. They came. It was totally cool. I actually think Ryan was the most nervous of any of us. Kirstie and Suzanne are actually pretty local. They live in the city I work in. They fit in with our improv group perfectly (despite not really being suburbanites). IP: Logged |

In the end, I was rushed to get to the show on time, and so I forgot about bringing a camera to film everything. I meant to mention that last night before the show, but I couldn't get a moment to get online.IP: Logged |

There are so many posts here. I want to add one so there is one more. The sentence 'you can call me AG'reminds of that song 'you can call me Al'from Paul Simon. Which brings me to a question. Where do you listen to when you here a song? The lyrics or the music? Me, I first listen to the lyrics. What is the song telling me, what kind of little poetry is there. And after that I listen to the music. I know someone who only listens to the music and isn't interested in the lyrics at all. And some songwriters tell you that the creation of the song began with music and after that came the lyrics. IP: Logged |

I think I like the music slightly more than the lyrics. I like the music to some songs despite mediocre lyrics.IP: Logged |

You haven't posted since March 20th, are you alright???? xox.Okay, now check this out, I'm telling you because I need a Cappy logic check. So, I've been friend requesting people on SignsAlign that I have 100 with, because, well, they must be pretty cool, lol, anyway, I requested someone last night, male, and his pic at the time was not an actual photo. Doesn't matter, I'm just interested in friends anyway. He accepted by this morning, and so, I go to his page just to see what he is like. You know, curiosity and all that. He is a Vampire persona!! He has 574 profile pics of himself dressed as the Vampire Lestat! Oh boy! He is a Scorpio Sun with a Saggie Moon. Been there, done that. I'm kinda starting to wonder about the validity of this program. Maybe it's just a dating network in disguise?? Whatcha think?? How was your weekend? IP: Logged |

lol...I don't know if SignsAlign is supposed to be a dating site. Good luck there. I've spent most of the weekend being indecisive. I did my improv show Friday night. I got that brutal massage that day. I also got my hair cut too short, which people seemed to enjoy when I put it up (and by that I mean that I styled it similarly to the way I did in the 80's; hairspray and all). Saturday I wasn't sure what I should do, so I basically procrastinated most of the day. I went out to eat that night, and then went to our other troupe's improv show. This is the troupe I auditioned for, but didn't make. Their show was a bit better set up than ours, but only two people in their troupe were responsible for the majority of the laughs. Our teacher didn't seem to prepare very well for ours. The actual show was slightly better than ours, but most because of the fact that they performed more games. For some reason we didn't have enough games scheduled, so some of our skits went unnecessarily long. We did learn that the next show will be a showdown between the two troupes, which I think everyone is excited for. Yesterday, I woke up with a sore throat. There wasn't any drinking the night prior. I believe it was tributable to the allergies that are keeping my nose running. Thankfully there was no sore throat this morning, but I did have a lot of trouble sleeping. My roommate's and my ex-boss is in town with his boyfriend, so my roommate wanted to go see him last night (I just realized this sentence reads weird. My roommate and I used to work for this guy, so he's both of our ex-boss.). I wasn't really feeling up to it, but decided I would go with her if some plan worked out. Thankfully it didn't. I needed to do some grocery shopping as well as learn my lines for my play. I have play rehearsal tonight. IP: Logged |

Well, I got some 24 hour non-drowsy stuff. I also got some nose spray. It's not a decongestant spray. It's more for moisturizing and washing like a nettie pot. The non-drowsy stuff made me sluggish almost immediately, of course.IP: Logged |

I have a friend that swears by the nettie pot, he can't tolerate meds. Then, I have another friend who takes one decongestant every single day, all year long. Eventually that effect will wear off you (the sleepy thing). When I remember which one she takes, I'll tell you, it's OTC. I am taking Loratadine right now. That's generic for something. (? duh) I've also had the famous, "sinus surgery," where they ream out all the crap you've collected over the years. I don't suggest that. They broke my nose, and healing was just awful.
The allergist told me to get rid of all kinds of stuff in my house. Like, a ridiculous amount, that probably very few people would do. Such as carpet. She also said, buy a plastic mattress cover, because there are little mites living in yours that cause allergies. Google them, they are hideous looking. She said no throw pillows, no feather pillows, no stuffed animals....etc. Right now, my throat is so sore, and I've got a little rash on my face from itching. Spring and fall are torture. I don't know about your insurance, but allergy testing is pretty painless, and even if you don't want the shots, at least it will tell you what your main allergies are so you can try to avoid them. I think it's because of spring, AG.Have you dusted ? Maybe you have some weird mold or something in your house? Do you have a sinus infection? I'm lucky I don't have many allergies - I get sneezing fits on occasion but that's about it. Mainly dust and stuff like that. Gypsee, I am sorry to hear about your sinus surgery Bleecchh, sounds like a pain in the ass. I also had a friend who takes those decongestants every single day. I don't think they actually DO anything for her, but when she doesn't take them, she feels even worse. So now she thinks they actually help, when all they've done is make her dependent on using them so that if she quits she will be 'worse' ...damned if you do, damned if you don't

Oh, thanks, MVM, the sinus surgery was recommended, not elective. My sinus cavity was so full it was pushing against my eyes, causing pressure. Actually, I know several people that got this done, it's pretty common 'round these parts. We live in what is called, "The Miami Valley," which is basically bowl shaped, circled around a river. All the pollen rises into the air, and then instead of blowing away, it settles back down. AHH-CHOO!AG, the name of the med I couldn't think of was 'Mucinex'. Yeah, and like MVM says, make sure you don't have an infection. I'll get all soap boxy about the fact that people ignore infections and expect them to go away. But, since your all grown and stuff, and posess logic, I'll leave you alone. You know the signs of a sinus infection. Right??? ( I tried, but I couldn't help Momming you!) IP: Logged |

My best guess is that an infection may have started over night. I read that it's caused by things swelling up in your nose, which has been the case. Then at night it gets the chance to just sit there. Swollen. Yesterday, everything flowing out was clear. This morning a little bit of it wasn't. This whole allergy business is quite annoying. YES, it tends to change my whole mood, plus it aggravates my asthma. You don't have asthma too, do you??Well, I get swelling underneath one or both eyes sometimes, but it goes down after a few hours of awakeness. However, if your mucous (sp?) has changed color, time to see the doc. Putting a bag of frozen veggies on your face provides some relief as well. Hope you feel better soon, sweetie. IP: Logged |

Here are some tips:If you've got a sore throut I'd suggest tea with honey and citron/lemon. Avoid sugars. And for those with a cold. Avoid sugars and milk. Eat vegatables and fruit. Remember the quote "An apple a day keeps the doctor away" Get fresh air, go for a walk or ride a bike for just half an our each day. Go outside away form your computer. Take a steam bath with camomile. Methol oil could be to heavy. Have a good night sleep. IP: Logged |
