i think cappy is helped by venus/neptune, and that is part of your lack of cynicism...

but i also think capricorns get a bad rap in general. some of my favourite people have been caps..maybe because of my cappy jupiter and the fact they make me feel better about my virgo placements!

as to rats, i have had a hard time with the female of the species but the men are another story.

Wheels,

It's nice to know that a fellow Venus-conjunct-Neptune-person has had similarly unbetrayed relationships for the most part. Maybe the interps are wrong, or maybe the conjunction in Sag alters the dynamic of it.

Kat,

What Chinese sign are you?

I would think that it's generally good to feel good about your Virgo placements... those poor, misunderstood Virgo placements. I've got the Virgo Moon myself. Totally unloveable. Just kidding. Sometimes I'm overly loveable.

Hey AG;
I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for your consistant patience on helping people with posting.
It must get exhausting explaining that over and over, but somebody's gada do it, and I'm glad it was someone as gracious as you!
thanks!

i'm an ox, a leo ox (like some guy in the white house with aqua(rooster) rising, though i'm a 7th houser)! my ex was a cancer rat. and i must say, as much as i love them, rats can be excruciatingly self-preserving (excruciating to those around them) at times...that bit about the sinking ship comes to mind, and sometimes its not even sinking, just becalmed if you know what i mean! i watched this over and over with him and his twin brother...

but smart, funny, kind, quick off the mark, inventive and good at making money!!!

i think the virgo moon may be the most loyal of all - it is one of keith richards' saving graces. it took me many years to appreciate my virgoisms, and i have 3 planets there, so it was a big step up when i got there!

You're welcome, Gypsee. Actually, I'm not usually the one to explain these things to people. I'm generally uninterested in newbies...mostly because a lot of them are young. Cool people like you, that show up in threads that I show up in, are ok in my book.

Ox and Rat are supposed to get along pretty well, Kat. I'm not sure what you mean about your Cancer, and the sinking ship.

yes, ox and rats are supposed to get along. in general i find that true, but it depends on the individuals as always...

my cancer rat had a real talent for getting out of situations that turned sour on him; ie deserting a sinking ship as rats are supposed to do (in cliches anyway). but sometimes the ship would have floated if he had stayed with it. this is a classic rat syndrome, cutting their losses is one of their talents in my experiences with them, but sometimes they cut too soon.

but as an ox i am quite the other way, i stick with things well past their due date! which also pays off, but in a different way.

Ah yes, I can see why that would annoy you. The Rat is very flexible/Mutable, while the Ox is Fixed.

Cardinal signs in general can be that way as well, as far as abandoning ship. We're initiators, not the loyal plotters. We want to start things, so if something isn't working we start something else. Even if things are working, we still want to start something else.

exactly. and i have enough cardinal energy to understand that but as i get older i realize i am really more likely to be the one who keeps it going. actually the energies in my chart are fairly well balanced but i guess i tend to be attracted to and attract cardinal types so i end up emphasizing my fixed and mutable qualities.

Fixed signs are also dwellers.
They don't seem t be able to move on.

I'd take an initiator over a dweller any day!

*Yin loves the oxen, BTW. Not that it's of any consequence, just throwing it out there.*

AG, I saw your Improv group on FB.
Looks really cool. I'd love to see you perform.
Do you have any videocasts to share?

I do. In fact, I recorded/video'd our most recent show a couple weeks ago. I always have to fix the sound, though, because we don't use microphones, so sometimes the people on stage are too quiet, and the audience is definitely too loud.

Wow! Lots of asteroids.

Both of our Mercurys are on each other's Sun. That's fantastic, especially for me, because Mercury is my chart ruler. Of course, that does mean that my Saturn opposes your Sun.

It looks like your Venus is reasonably close to my Mars. That's a good one.

Your chart ruler, Uranus, is on or near my Sun/Moon midpoint.

Hi AG
I just checked out your myspace. What a great Pic!!! The spiked hair suits you very well, I might add.
BUT, it wouldnt let me play any of your music, I cant imagine why, that has never happened to me before.
Maybe its my computer, yesterday it went all weirdo when I was trying to go to my cousins myspace, I'll try again later.
I wish we were friends in real life too.
Since your my brothers age, your not too young to "get" stuff that I would be talking about, you would just have a little bit different perspective of it.
What do you think about HORSES if your into Chinese Astrology?

Mmm...that's interesting about the hair, because even when I took that photo I was regularly spiking it. Lately I seem to be getting a message from my hair that says it's not really interested in being styled conservatively. On the short side of my part, the hair has taken to flipping up.

Hopefully you do get your computer sorted. Maybe it's MySpace, though. I'm surprised you endorse it over facebook (I only say that because MySpace takes forever to load pages and so forth). I have my pages, but I pretty much only go there when I get an email that someone messaged me.

I think we'd talk pretty easy, too. When people compare charts, like with the person they're interested in, one of the things they do is look at where one person's planets fit into the other person's chart. Your Sun, if I placed it at the same degree in Sagittarius [in my chart] would fit right between my Mercury and Venus, and be conjunct both. That should definitely mean an easy rapport between us.

I am semi-familiar with Chinese Astrology, enough to know which signs I'm most compatible with. I'm not intimately familiar with each sign, though, nor how I interact with them. I just read about the Horse. Seems seductive.

well tell your hair that your its boss, and spiking is the way to go.

I love my myspace cuz its so artsy. You can put so many cool things there and it just looks...cool.
I got on facebook becuz my friend talked me into it, immediately I was getting friend requests from people I did not even like in high school, why do I wanna talk to them now? and its not talking like this. It like little blurbs about people.
like a read mine yday, some updates said:
(names are changed)
..Rachel Ward is considering painting her bathroom today,

...Randy Brown went rock climbing yesterday.

Like I care! Jeez! I don't even hardly remember these people.
At least on myspace you can put up all your music videos and links to stuff (no, I didn't manage that by myself, thats what I had children for) and that sorta stuff.
Facebook just seems like for boring people.
But thats my opinion, and I haven't explored it fully yet.

Is this the site you're talking about (with regard to the fire horse)?: http://www.io.com/~cortese/hinoeuma/

Oh, this is a neat site: http://www.usbridalguide.com/special/chinesehoroscopes/Horse.htm

Your Horse sign correlates to Gemini. My Rat sign correlates to Sagittarius.

EDIT: oh, that last site says my mortal enemy is the horse! oooh!

the chinese signs also have "rising hours":

rat 11pm-1am
ox 1am-3am
tiger 3-5am
cat 5-7am
dragon 5-9am
snake 9-11am
horse 11am-1pm
goat 1-3pm
monkey 3-5pm
rooster 5-7pm
dog 7-9pm
boar 9-11pm

they say that if you share rising signs, or your year sign is the same as someone's hour sign, compatability is possible with even the most incompatible years...

i have found that the chinese are more than a little rigid in these interps - although the traits do seem to match up with their animals, the compatibilities are nowhere near as cut and dried as believed...

and the actual chinese horoscope is SERIOUSLY fatalistic. certain charts are judged plain unlucky, or lucky, and they are very detailed and predictive. still, i love the animals and they do seem to be accurate...

I've never seen a Chinese horoscope reading, but when you say it's fatalistic it sounds like you're talking about Vedic (Indian) astrology. That's some seriously fatalistic stuff.

Hi AG!

Just browsing the forums tonight and thought you should know I "stopped by."

Gypsee Wind-- I live just over an hour away from you. For the last few months I've been in Dayton about once a week.
