quote: So, have you ever thought you liked a band, like for years and years, and then REALLY listen to them, and decide you don't? Isn't that weird? Like all of a sudden, you're hearing it for the first time?
Hmmm...nope. It's true that I don't necessarily listen to some bands anymore, but still, when I hear them, I still like them. I've resisted liking bands only to eventually come to like or at least respect them. IP: Logged |

And is noone else finding the offer a demonstration of the 'porn' lock and chain slightly disturbing? Or is is just my dirty mind?IP: Logged |

Very annoyed right now. First I was given the task that was more time consuming this afternoon while my co-workers had to do next to nothing (a leisurely hour's worth of work), and, second, the task I was given was screwed up twice by shodding work one of my coworkers did earlier today.IP: Logged |

Boooo shoddy work! That happens to me all the time. I stepped into an office with no direction and have basically had to revamp the entire administrative processes. I still find things done incorrectly and it irks me to no end. A lot of it was done wrong long before I was here, but it still annoys me when other people do it the "old" way, even when they know better. Way to waste a lot of time re-doing something... Argh. Here either, AG. Always works that way because yesterday I was straight out... Of course, I was all alone so I was the everything girl and the phone was MANIC. I felt really good and productive all day though, unlike today. I'm bored and in need of a project! IP: Logged |

How boring can this place get?At lunch I was reading the lines for my new role, Billy. Billy's come to Monterey to join the New York Volunteers, a sort of military unit from back then. He reminds me a lot of Kenneth the page from 30 Rock. He's young and naive, won't touch alcohol, gets nervous from heavy flirting. I was reading my lines, and (of course) I'm thinking about how to make them funny. It turns out it would be pretty easy to make this kid gay without changing the lines significantly. I don't think it would really play out here in the suburbs...even with a lesbian director. It might require me flirting with Rawhide who's played by an 11 year old indian boy (who's a fantastic actor), and that would surely go down like a led Zeppelin. Would be funny, though. IP: Logged |

Aren't you two supposed to be working? Tut tut, some of us have put a full day in already!AG - how about a little challenge? I am going on my hols in 3 months, and have been terribly remiss in not keeping up with the exercise over the winter. By the end of March I want to lose a stone. I don't think I can do it, but I am gonna try. If I lose a stone by 31 March will you deliver a song to me, a new one, written by you? You don't think you can do it, so it seems a fair deal? You have to, otherwise I'll have to hunt you down and do unspeakable things with the porn lock!!I have never seen that Snow Patrol cover - it is so different to the original it is taking some getting used to - had to listen to it twice and liked it loads more the second time. You do realise we are gonna be in trouble with Gypsee again? She will think it is absolute sacrilege.

Presumably you'll be in good shape for it. Gypsee loves Scorpios, so I'm thinking that she'll want in on the porn lock action. IP: Logged |
