It should open two windows. The first one you shouldn't need. The second, and smaller one, should contain the player.

Could try this: http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?PID=1234039&t=7500
That's the site it's stored at, and you should be able to initiate it playing from there.

Hmm. Really odd, but it won't let me play it on the 2nd link either. And it's not downloading the missing plug-in.
Must be my own laptop spazzing out, I dunno.
It's too bad, I really wanted to have a listen

It might be small enough for me to email it to you. That is weird that your laptop won't play it. I think the file I uploaded to the site was a wma (Windows media audio) file, so it should be fairly standard.

I just learned that a possible problem with opening it is that it can be considered a pop-up by the browser. I've probably set mine to accept pop-ups from that site.

AG, I used Firefox to listen to your song and i had to download a WMP plug-in to do it.
Maybe other browsers are not as cooperative with the site?

At any rate, I liked it.

That's odd, I have firefox too but it wouldn't let me load the plug-in all the way. I think it's my damn laptop.

I got the email and the attachment worked without problems. Loved the song!

hey AG nice to see you in GU there! i'm afraid i have to take a break if not complete exit. i consider it unhealthy to keep arguing the same point over and over. i'm a leo with more virgo than him, so it's not in my nature to leave an insulting old boor the floor like that, but the temptation to answer one last time is obviously addictive and i don't need the bad energy right now. real life calls!!

edit: the rest of this WAS in bad taste.

Yeah, I'm trying to stay out of there myself. His posts are getting really ridiculous, though, so whatever "floor" he has he's not really putting to any good use. No one in their right mind is going to go in there and confirm his opinion. A lot of these things are things that have been discussed at length before. I guess he just views this time as the time to mold Obama into what he wishes him to be, because that's all that really matters: how he wants to view things (versus the way they are).

Jwhop,

You're welcome to come address me in my thread if you like. No playing victim, though, and no convenient ways of looking at things. If you weren't voyeuristically eavesdropping because it's a public board, then neither was I was talking behind your back because it's a public board. And Kat's right, I say far worse to you straight to your face all the time.

Don't bring your political irony here either. "Playing Devils Advocate doesn't include libeling political figures just because you don't like them." This is something you do constantly, and now you want to try to preach to someone about it? Really?

So much projection...

yes i flashed on that point last night. its either public or its private, can't have it both ways. i tend to think of my KTAA as my turf so i felt a little violated there. but it's true it's a public forum and no one was exactly hiding.

i'm left with the question what is the difference between Free Speech as in our constitution, and gossip? gonna give it some thought and detox as i said before i tackle that one.

Hi AG
How you doing? I wanted to ask you a question about your Venus/Neptune conjunction in Sag, as I have this too. What's your take on this? I have been contemplating this a fair deal, the Love (Venus) Higher Love (Neptune) thing. Any thoughts? No worries if you don't.

Venus conjunct Neptune in Sagittarius = We both like dreamy (Neptune), hot (Sagittarian) girls (Venus).

No wonder we hang out with the crowd we do in the Godzala thread(s).

My Venus/Neptune conjunction in the 7th is tied to my Moon/Pluto conjunction in the 5th, which I think is responsible for my really creative nature. I think getting all the water planets together in good aspect is always helpful for creativity.

As to the idealization of partners, for me it doesn't seem so much like idealization so much as it seems like acceptance of the parts of the partner's nature that might be thought of as unattractive by other people. I think I can fairly easily be with people who have issues, and to be honest I think I could logically and objectively make a case that anyone I've been with in my adult life has been a genuinely good person. Furthermore, I know I haven't been let down by a person's true colors to the extent that other people have. Could still happen I suppose. I've heard all kinds of stories of people being tremendously betrayed by their partners, and I don't know if I'm just aloof to having that kind of relationship with someone, or if I'm too nice for anyone to ever feel like screwing me over, or what. Just, so far, it hasn't happened. I was thinking on this recently, and I almost asked for opinions in Godzala, wouldn't Venus conjunct Neptune also buffer someone's fall from grace? I mean if we're the people who see people through rose-colored glasses, and if we're the people with a real faith in humanity, then it would seem like we'd also be the people catching the people as they fall off their pedestals.

I do get disheartened by cynics. I don't appreciate when anyone tries to lose faith, or tries to close their minds to more optimistic possibilities. If I hear someone saying that they have some cynical rule about life, and it's appropriate for me to comment I will suggest that they not be so cynical, that they keep themselves open to the more positive possible outcomes. It's not to say that people shouldn't keep their eyes open to dangerous possibilities, but if there's a reasonable possibility of a positive outcome not to prejudge based on a bad experience.

So that's what I think. Do you relate?

This is from something I found on Facebook today:

Hidden Sexual Fantasies of Rat Men

This woman whom you wait for is somewhat your sister. There's nothing incestuous here, be reassured! No, the one who haunts your dreams is your double, your twin, your accomplice, your alter ego. Yes, it's the one who resembles you; the one who will guess your moods and go ahead of your desires; the one who will know how to laugh and play with you; the one who will take you by the hand to pull you into a universe of childlike loves, which are of course sensual but also dreamy and free, a universe where everything is permitted because, actually, when one is a child, nothing is really important, nothing is really perverse, nothing is really forbidden.

The woman of your fantasies resembles Columbine. Light, young, even very young, slim, and somewhat androgynous, she is one of those laughing, ironical adolescents, who provoke without meaning it, who excite as one plays, and who go into raptures with reticence as if they guessed that by letting themselves indulge in pleasure they would lose this freedom and this lightness which make up their charm. She is the soubrette who hides her wild laughters behind her roguish hand, or the cool and attentive student who wears round glasses in order to study an old text. She is also the beginning journalist in quest of a scoop, who masks her inexperience behind sophisticated manners; or the pretty bookseller who blushes while selling you impudent texts. She is young and shy, but you'll know how to tame her, to reassure and initiate her, you'll know how to make an ideal lover out of her, even though you may have to model her according to your desires.

Dual Signs Rat and Capricorn

You're a nature which is cerebral, very much interested in ideas and all that's located beyond appearances, the known, and the concrete. Your intelligence is quick, analytic, but also capable of synthesis.

One can say that you're rather easy to live with, all the more so as you've a well developed sense of humor. But you stay aloof from all that can hurt or inconvenience you, and your overdone critical sense can put obstacles or enmities on your road. Your youth is often marked with bereavements, which strengthen the serious aspect of your temperament.

In your work, you always try to pull strings or resort of subtle combinations so as to make a fortune. You're gifted for an intellectual career, for research, science, pedagogy, or for all jobs related to teaching and the transmission of knowledge.

Your sentiments are always more or less cerebral. This is to say that you leave little room for passion, dream, and fantasy. It's difficult for you to let yourself go entirely in love you always try to analyze your outbursts and feel the fear of being deceived. You need a very stable home so as to feel well in it.

AG, I never suspected this kind, gentle side of your Cappie nature to shine through...(referring to the Venus in Sag conjunct Neptune post)
It was breathtaking to read the last part and it rung so true!

You are probably the first male Capricorn I have heard make that statement. It warms my heart, it's so hopeful!
Because I grew up with a Cappie father and his cynicism and generally negative outlook on life has made me the stone I am today when it comes to showing vulnerability.
It is nice to know that you think and feel the way you do!
I wish we were friends in real life.

AG, that's the most refreshing take on the Venus/Neptune conjunction I've ever read. I'm glad that you don't portray it negatively because that's all I've seen. And, like you, I don't feel like I've been take for a ride either (apart maybe from once, but it was less rose-coloured glasses than the guy being a total liar and a good actor, and I feel it was not my fault that I didn't see this). My other relationships have been great, and yes there was an element of tolerance of "unattractive" traits (not traits that made me unsafe btw) that I guess goes with Neptune/Pisces.

Sincere thanks AG, as you have given me insight today.
